Chapter 353 - A low blow - mdfour

Chapter 353 - A low blow - mdfour
Alfredo

The explosion wave shattered all the windows in the house. For a moment, we were stunned. Churrusco's screams were heard from afar, and I began to open and close my jaw to get my hearing back. I grabbed the medical bag.

"Roland, Alfredo! Eight bastards are heading to the west side balcony."

He shouted desperately. The boss's hand appeared in my field of vision to help me up. At least Carlina would be attending to our wives if they were hurt; if it was something serious, she would notify Zombie, and he would let us know.

"Rata, you're in charge."

The boss spoke with a determined voice, submitting to Simon's tactical orders as he always did. He was the strategist, and Simon had a knack for war. Now the boss was following the instructions of our head of security.

"That area is yours, defend it," we obeyed the order.

"Let's go, Rino, let's do our job."

Roland was bleeding from his ears and was about to touch them. I stopped him. From now on, our conversation would be almost non-existent to do our job better, as only one commanding voice should be heard, and in this case, it was Rata. Besides, we needed to give Churrusco space to relay the positions of the bastards trying to mess with us. But this was important.

"Please don't touch your ears for a few minutes; they're sensitive and could get worse," he confirmed, looking at me.

We reached the area with access to the house and, therefore, to our women. I left my medical bag aside to be able to fight hand-to-hand if necessary. I had what I needed for a first encounter in my soldier's pants. I wasn't the only one with similar pants; almost everyone opted for them, except the boss and Rasca Culo, who found jeans more comfortable. Still, we all dressed in black.

"Onion and Turd will be in action in about four minutes; a group of twenty men is coming," the dark-skinned man spoke again.

"Cherry, provide support," Simon ordered.

At that moment, eight men came up the stairs leading to the patio area, where there was a place for barbecues. They didn't expect to see us. I had never had the privilege of fighting side by side with the boss.

In our training, it was said that he adapted to his partner, and the time he joined us for that extreme training in the mountains, his teammates were the top of the pyramid.

"Just the two of you are going to stop us?"

"Ego," the boss ironized, "one of the favorite pitfalls."

Roland pulled out his two knives. The idiots thought it would be a piece of cake, four men against one. I focused on my own rivals, leaving the boss to his.

When the first one came at me, a giant, I jumped, using his own body for leverage. It disoriented him; I had placed my foot on his thigh, spun in the air, and landed on his back. With the speed that characterizes us, I pulled out one of my knives.

Without remorse, I slit the man's throat, hitting the jugular. I fell with him. Another one pulled out his weapon, and Roland's kick disoriented him, causing the weapon to fall a good distance away. I took advantage of the moment, being on the ground, to make a tourniquet on his feet. The man fell, and I sat and stabbed him three times.

The remaining two came at me, and Roland stood by my side. I looked at his opponents; they were alive, wounded in places that would kill them, just delayed. At that moment, I felt more admiration for him. He helped us and, at the same time, didn't break the oath he supposedly made to Providence for Veronica's life.

Everyone talks about that entity... I respect it, but... better focus. We began fighting this pair. They drew their weapons, and we disarmed them. The sound of a bone breaking was heard, followed by the agonizing scream of Roland's opponent; he had fractured his femur. I pulled out my weapon and killed my attacker. Then I shot the men Roland had left alive, injured but alive. I saw gratitude in his eyes.

"Area cleared," said the boss.

……

Daniel

"Here comes the action!"

I said as I took down one of those trying to sneak into the parking area. "I hope Clari is okay." We had come face to face. I disarmed him and stabbed him three times with my knife. We would avoid using guns as much as possible not to give ourselves away.
I stayed hidden with the corpse beside me. Two guys arrived in the area where Mojón was. Cebolla saw me from his position. I signaled that Arnold was fighting two men. Within seconds, Miguel was supporting him, but the bastards noticed and decided to take advantage, splitting up. Four of them were going to surround the area and come from the West side.

"Four are on their way to the west balcony area."

I spoke before putting the silencer on my weapon and started taking down those trying to reach where Arnold and Cebolla were fighting.

"Sombra and Rino, take care of it," Rata ordered.

I ran to hide among some cars for the best view. Arnold stabbed his opponent in the leg, starting from the knee, and began slicing the attacker's skin. With his other hand, he covered the man's mouth while Cebolla took a couple of punches to the abdomen.

When he saw the opportunity, he trapped the neck of the guy who had just hit him with his feet, breaking it. He leaned just enough, and the one holding him from behind fell face-first to the ground. He pulled out a knife and stabbed him four times while I took down the ones approaching.

"Area clear," Roland stated.

"Churrusco?" Cebolla asked.

"There are two hiding behind the gate, near you."

Cebolla approached the wooden door, Arnold did the same. They drew their weapons and fired. The guys fell after six shots.

"Clear," Arnold reported.

"Fifty left."

We heard the black man's voice again. There were quite a few of them, sons of bitches, they didn't know who they were messing with.

"This is too easy," Roland said. "Churrusco, expand the field of vision and monitor the airspace."

"Yes, sir. Help Rata, in a few minutes about forty men are heading to that position, and ten stayed a few miles away."

"Arnold and Cebolla, we'll wait here. Cereza, watch that area," Simón ordered.

"Yes, sir."

……

Miguel

We arrived at the place, and nothing happened. We waited for five minutes. I didn't like this, and having Diana pregnant in a situation like this made me even more uneasy.

"Churrusco?" Simón called.

"Those bastards are walking very slowly."

I liked this shit even less now.

"They're up to something," the boss commented. "They're waiting for a signal."

"Did you install the coordinates I sent you for airspace tracking?" Rata asked Aníbal.

"Yes, but nothing's showing up."

"Let's get our women out of here," Roland said. "Zombi."

"Understood, sir."

I looked at Rata, this damn feeling. We started walking towards the house. Rasca culo dragged his suitcase full of weapons, which scared me the most. From where we were, we saw Freddy, Luisa, and Patricia escorting the rest towards the parking lot to leave the place.

"FUCK!" Churrusco shouted. "A helicopter will arrive in less than a minute. And the ones who hadn't moved are now running..."

In a split second, everything became chaos. Our wives were exposed, my wife was pregnant! The barrage of bullets started hitting. Time stood still. We could only witness how Inés pushed my wife into the pool. At that moment, we all ran. The priority was to protect them.

I jumped into the water to get my wife out. Rasca culo took out the bazooka, and the projectile hit the helicopter. The explosion brought the arrival of the forty men who entered. Luisa took the lead, and I heard her shout for everyone to return to the house.

"Baby! Are you okay?"

"Inés..."

A trail of blood fell into the pool. My dear was on the floor, at the edge of the pool, still alive. I got Diana out, placed her on the edge, jumped out of the water, and carried Inés.

"Dear, don't die on us." It was all I could say.

"Is my grandchild okay?"

Diana was crying. The gunfire had decreased. Everyone was fighting and killing anyone in their way. If I said it, they would destabilize.

"Rino, it's Diana!"

My wife understood when she looked at me. She had entered the house. I took my dear's body to the large table and laid her on it. Seeing that the present women were about to scream collectively, I put my finger to my lips. Verónica took off her rings and put them in her jeans pocket. Inés was losing a lot of blood.

Rino entered, looked at the scene, and started working. My lip trembled. He didn't say anything either. Carlina joined him, and they began working. I didn't know what to do. Now my hands started trembling. A slap from Luisa jolted me. We didn't speak, she just looked at me like an agent in charge. She placed her hand on my heart.
