Chapter 338 - Celestinas tied up - mdfour
Simón
Aníbal is going to leave me deaf, I can't talk to shut him up, and all hell breaks loose if I mute him, knowing he was the one who sent me as soon as he saw her crying. We have a camera in that tree, and I had the night shift, working on the next operation. I hugged Shirly as she calmed down.
"Do you know if Luisa has left for my house yet?"
"She won't be long. Once she gets to the ranch, she'll leave. We don't like leaving the kids alone."
"Ask her!" Aníbal shouted, and my ear hurt again.
"Shirly..." She stopped, already walking toward her truck. "I don't want to pry, but... Who is Cristian?"
I saw her smile. "Bad news, women smile when they like the guy." Churrusco started cursing.
"He's a colleague, also a widower, and I enjoy talking with him."
Troy broke loose, hell opened up for Aníbal. Now we're going to have to tie him to the bed so he doesn't show up at his wife's place tonight.
"Wow! But what a lovely mess! What the hell is this?"
"Isn't it too soon?" I needed to smooth things over.
"Is it too soon if I start to fall for him? I don't know. Let's wait and see. Honestly, I've had enough with Diana, Luisa, and all the girls' insistence."
"Is my wife encouraging you to have an affair?"
"You'll meet him today, and for now, I have nothing with him."
"YOU NEVER WILL!" The black guy was furious, staying with Miguel and Alfredo.
"Stop asking, rat!" That was Cebolla. "Rino can't control Churrusco!"
"I'll see you in the afternoon," I said.
"I'd like one of you to get there early to help me with the tech setup, the speakers, and all that stuff."
"Count on me for that."
"Thanks, Simón."
She got into her vehicle and I watched her leave. I got into mine, turned off the microphone, and drove home. It was almost seven, the kids should still be asleep, it's Saturday. I took the stairs two at a time and, entering the room...
"Hello, love."
"Luisa."
My wife frowned, she was putting on makeup to go help Shirly decorate for Grego's birthday.
"It's not common for you to call me Luisa unless you're mad." She stood up, looking better every day, maybe because I'm getting older.
"Well, I am!" She got nervous.
"What did I do?"
"Why are you filling Shirly's head with nonsense? Let her grieve! She needs to heal her heart, not complicate it more."
"Hey, hey, hey! Wait a minute, are you scolding me for telling my friend not to close herself off to the possibility of a relationship?"
"Yes!" She stared at me, and I realized I had pushed her too far.
"I get it..."
"Get what?"
Her eyes welled up, and she left the room. Now what the hell is she thinking? I followed her, grabbing her arm before she reached the truck.
"Black-haired beauty..."
"I have something to do, let go!"
Knowing Luisa now... Damn it! I made it seem like I was jealous of another woman, but I didn't let go. My wife knows self-defense, and she hits hard, leaving me breathless.
"Luisa, it's not what you think!"
"Oh? It's not?"
"NO!"
I was trying to catch my breath. I had been teaching her other defense techniques, never thinking she'd use them on me.
"Explain."
That was it, explaining meant revealing Aníbal's situation, and we couldn't do that yet, so I stayed silent.
"I don't have time for you to explain."
This situation with Aníbal is going to mess us all up. Now who can handle my black-haired beauty? She left, furious.
"Daddy, will you teach me to hit like Mom?"
Turning around, Milena was rubbing her eyes. I extended my arms, and she ran to hug me.
"When you turn seven, I'll start teaching you."
"Did Mom hit you hard?"
"Just a little."
"Why did Mom hit you?"
"I didn't answer something that's a secret. Why are you up so early?"
"I wanted to ride horses with you."
"That's a great idea, sweetie."
……
Miguel
I just got to my ranch. It wasn't easy controlling the justified jealousy of the black guy. I can't imagine what he must be thinking and the helplessness he must feel. If someone was after my Little One, I'd skin them alive. Rino finally managed to control him a bit, sedating him for about three hours.
I was the one to continue his training, which went down the drain with what happened with Shirly. It's not easy finding out there's a real man with a name near your woman; it messed up the black guy so badly...
Luckily, he can't walk without support. Otherwise, he would have beaten us up to let him go. Now, with everything we have, we must scare off that guy; otherwise, Aníbal won't keep progressing as he was.
I entered through the office, then went looking for my Little busybody who was stirring up trouble where she shouldn't. I need to tell her to stay out of places she's not invited. She came out of the bathroom, looking unwell despite being freshly showered.
"Is something wrong?" I asked. She didn't look good.
"You're supposed to say, good morning," I raised my eyebrow.
"Are you on your period?"
When she gets her period, I'm always the one she takes it out on. If I get close, I annoy her, if I stay away, I don't care about her, and she has me running around like a dog chasing its tail.
"No, it's just that you, Beast, left early this morning and came back looking upset. I don't feel well and I already have plans with Shirly. We need to get the house ready for Grego's birthday. Besides..."
"That's what I wanted to talk to you about." She stopped and looked at me with a furrowed brow.
"Go ahead, what is it?"
She pulled out the clothes she was going to wear and took off her towel, revealing that delicious body. Immediately, a surge of electricity ran through me. "Don't you dare get up," I thought, "because now I need to make it clear to my woman that she shouldn't meddle where she's not wanted." I looked at my erection. She smiled.
"Did it get hard?"
"Now I have something more important to talk about. Diana, stop filling Shirly's head with nonsense."
"What are you talking about?"
"Shirly doesn't have time to go looking for another man! Can you stay out of it?"
"What bug bit you?" She put on her underwear and grabbed a dress. "Is she going to wear a dress?"
"Nothing bit me, it's just..."
What the hell am I going to say? If I open my big mouth, I'll have to tell her about Aníbal, and no one wants to touch that subject yet, not even the person involved. He told us that's even worse; now he wants to be himself again and for us to help him not depend on anyone.
"I heard there's a guy named Cristian courting her."
"Yes, but she hasn't accepted him yet. Besides, it's time she thought about herself. She's a very young woman!"
"I know, she's also attractive." Seeing Diana's raised eyebrow made me shut my mouth. I had just dug my own grave.
"So, she's very attractive?"
That's it! I messed up royally, and now who will get me out of this mess I got myself into with my big mouth?
"Why are you using that tone?" She was jealous. Damn!
"No tone, I have to go."
I didn't say anything more. Now she's going to think, and rightly so, that I like Shirly. Damn it! No wonder they call me the Beast. This situation with Aníbal is going to mess us up. But we can't say anything without telling them that Aníbal is alive and kicking... that'll be the mess of the year.
Besides, Diana looked very pale. Something is wrong with my woman. I went into the bathroom, washed my face, and when I grabbed the disposable towel to clean up the mess I made and avoid my wife's nagging, I saw an open pregnancy test box in the trash. I remembered she was about to tell me something and I cut her off.
"Damn! Now I really messed up. She didn't tell me she was pregnant. She must be angry... well, not angry, jealous!"
......
Veronica
I left angry with Roland. Today, I really want to give that troglodyte a piece of my mind. But before I let it ruin my mood, I decided to skip his morning routine and went to help Shirly. I don't understand why he's so mad.
What's wrong with Shirly having a suitor? I parked the car on the side and didn't get out because Lupe stormed out of Arnold's truck like a category four hurricane, slamming the door behind her. "What's this about?"
"Be grateful I'm not answering you the way I want to out of respect for my kids!" Arnold also got out.
"Oh? And how would you answer me?"
"Get the hell out of here and stop being an idiot! You have no right to forbid me from playing matchmaker for Shirly." Wow! Are they arguing about the same thing?
"Her Mexican side is showing."
"Listen, blondie, if I want to find Shirly a partner, I will. The poor thing doesn't deserve to cry every day."
"You're meddling where you're not wanted!"
"So what! I have to live up to my nickname. In a matter of hours, I went from being your Cinnamon-Skinned Mermaid to the Tadpole again. Now get lost, blondie!"
Lupe pulled away from his grip and almost ran towards the big house. Arnold left grumbling. Just then, Luisa and Diana arrived, both looking serious. This wasn't normal; something was up. I got out of the truck. When I reached them, their bad energy was noticeable.
"Let me guess. Your husbands told you not to play matchmaker for Shirly?" They both looked at me.
"How did you know?" my sister-in-law said. "It seems Simón is interested..." I shook my head.
