Chapter 165 - Save this shit - mddos
Simon
I was really pissed off. A few minutes ago, I gave the order for Luisa's men to retreat; I'd stay with my group to finish the job. That son of a bitch Tommy just earned himself a bullet from me. What a massive asshole!
Whether it was his incompetence, jealousy, or whatever, he had over thirty deaths on his conscience due to negligence. That would cost him his position for sure. I lost communication with Luisa, and that made me even angrier. Could Roland hear me? I changed the frequency.
"Roland? You old instinctive bastard, please respond."
"We're here, Rat. Miguel and I can hear you."
"I've lost communication with Luisa."
"Freckles is fine. Every five minutes, she asked me to text her. We activated communication when I saw the Americans retreating. Also, I told her that Churrusco can hear you when you talk to the guys." I shouldn't be surprised; we've always had good synchronization.
"That massive..."
"Yeah, we think the same." If he interrupted me, it meant others were listening.
"Are you with someone?"
"Our women are with us," Onion said.
"What do you need?"
"You already answered what I needed. If I don't have communication, it's because Luisa can't see me and doesn't know what's happening. She's very capable of getting into this hell, Roland."
"She won't go, calm down. Anything else?"
"I'm staying with the group. They think it's just the Americans. We'll stay hidden, waiting, let them relax, celebrate because they repelled the attack. I'll make them believe we were scared. Was that Tommy the one you negotiated with?"
"No."
"Do I have the green light to take him out? He's an idiot!"
"Don't get involved. I know Any, she'll handle him. Don't interfere; I don't want to see you in jail for taking out a U.S. officer. I cleared your name, now become the hero, Rat. We'll be the channel between you and Luisa. Plus, we'll link the audio so Any can hear firsthand. I've never trusted that asshole Tommy; there's something off about him. Ever since I was introduced to him, I haven't trusted him."
"Fine, I'll leave him alive, but don't think he'll get away unscathed."
"We'll be in touch."
He just gave me permission to beat the crap out of that little American. We waited half an hour and witnessed how they piled up the bodies of Luisa's comrades. Thank goodness she wasn't seeing the images. Those bastards killed over thirty. My group was still intact when I saw Ismael Daza come out. The estate was surrounded by my men. From my position, I saw Mole and Zombie. I was about twenty meters in front of the bodies.
"Look at them, those damn Americans thought they were the big shots!" His brothers raised their glasses. "Burn them!"
I'm not one to judge, but I couldn't allow them to do something like that, even if it's common in this line of work.
"Rat," it was Roland. "Any begs you to avoid it at all costs. Can I count on you?"
"My plans were different, but I won't be able to look Luisa in the eye if I allow it. Stay calm, the action will start in minutes."
"They just heard what you said. They thank you."
"I need concentration, Roland..." For that, I needed Luisa and Mrs. Veronica to stay calm.
"Friend, Veronica took off her rings a couple of hours ago, and Luisa took hers off once you left. She knew it could reveal your position."
"That's my girl. And thank Mrs. Veronica."
"Veronica for next time," Roland corrected.
"Understood, boss. Over and out."
"Kick their asses," Onion commented.
"Do what you do best," said the former boss, giving his vote of confidence.
I looked for a few seconds at how to approach them. We've killed fifty from our position. The Americans must have killed about a hundred if they did well. There must be another hundred men against the nine of us. In theory, we could handle ten each. I sighed.
Looking to my left, I saw Turd climbing a tree with a branch very close to the balcony, followed by Curdle. I changed the frequency so they could hear me. Roland could always hear me, but I didn't want more people to know about his existence. Not yet.
"Guys, the orders are to go in. Remember, like shadows. Each one from your positions, move forward. We have about ten each, maybe a bit more."
I joked, hearing Onion's laughter in my right ear. In my left, I'd hear my team.
"Everyone copy?" Each gave an affirmative.
"Mole and Zombie, on my signal. Turd, you handle the upper part. You'll be with Wolf and Curdle. Ass-scratch, you take the front with Toothless on your right."
"Who's going to the left?" I waited a second if he wasn't killed...
"Who do you think, Toothless?" Cherry responded, joining this operation. That was my team.
"The escape route is clear, Rat."
"Thanks, Cherry."
"We're waiting for your signal."
When six men arrived with gasoline cans and started pouring it on the pile of dead bodies, I gave the signal.
"Now!"
At the same moment, in the silence of the night, we approached our targets. No glass was broken; they knew they had to be as silent as possible. Our weapons had silencers. I shot two and slit one's throat with my knife. Mole took them down with two accurate shots. Zombie threw his knife, hitting one in the eye. He was an expert with knives and accuracy.
I imagined each person playing their part in the best way, there were no screams, little by little we broke them, leaving dead bodies at every step. Most of them were in the same place, which made the job easier. We all found ourselves inside the house, the music was blaring in that room. I pulled some chains from my bag and Mojón took out his.
"Mole, take a look around, see if there's another way out."
The doors were steel, with large bar handles, which allowed us to insert the chain and lock them.
"How did you know you'd need them?"
I looked at Zombie, he was the youngest of the group's second security line, followed by Mojón.
"I didn't know, intuition," I heard a grunt from Mojón.
"Rat, there are no more doors, but there are two large windows, they can get out that way."
"Zombie, Wolf, Mueco, support Mole."
"What are you going to do?" asked Rasca Culo. He didn't want to kill anyone else, I remained silent.
"Rat," I heard Roland's voice in my right ear.
"Old man..."
"I know, I understand you... Do you have anything to put them to sleep? I'll talk to Any."
"Thanks, let's hope someone has something in their bag, for the first time I ended up unarmed," I changed the frequency.
"Does anyone have sleeping gas?" It would be a miracle.
"I brought three," said Mojón. I had no idea how to feel.
"Bring them."
I handed one to Rasca Culo to take to the group guarding the windows. With the utmost stealth, it was thrown into the room, Mojón would do the same, and so would I.
"Cereza, be ready, after we put them to sleep, I need you to take us to the base."
"Cebolla?" I had the channel open, it was a message to Roland.
"Yes, Rat?" he replied.
"Tell the boss to send personnel to clean the place and have enough stretchers available."
"The cleanup is on its way."
"Good... Guys, are you in position?" There was an open circular window at the top of the door. "Now!" I unpinned the gas grenade and threw it through the window. I grabbed my weapon to be ready when I saw them forcing the door.
"They're trying to get out this way," commented Mojón.
"Rasca Culo?"
"We see them disoriented, they're falling, it's chaos in there. They didn't even bother to go out the windows," a few seconds passed. "Bring the bottles, there are babies sleeping!" Rasca Culo commented.
"Excellent work, guys, time to go, we're done here. Cereza is waiting for us."
I closed communication with them while walking beside Mojón. I spoke calmly.
"Roland."
"You left Any speechless. They'll be prosecuted as murderers, extradited, all of them. Including Daza's big fish."
"Good, now I'm going to find Luisa. I don't want her near that Tommy."
"She's with Churrusco, will you investigate him later?"
"Don't doubt it."
"Simon!" It was Veronica.
"Ma'am," I heard her sigh.
"I almost did number one, number two, and almost invented number three again." As absurd as the situation was, I couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Thanks for not dying."
"Veronica, I have many reasons not to."
"Yes, Luisa needs you. See you here," she said.
"Go get my sister."
It was evident that his wife's comment also made him laugh. We left the house as the men under Cooper's command entered the estate. I had already removed my mask. We continued with a slight bow. I was eager to give a beating. Twenty minutes later, I was getting out of the truck. I entered the makeshift base, and my girlfriend's hug calmed me a bit. She cradled my face to give me a delicious kiss.
"I told you everything would be fine, Black-Haired. Now you see that staying here was the best option."
"Yes, I have to accept your gift. Besides, Churrusco kept me informed."
"It's just experience, darling." I kissed her forehead. "I have something to do. Where's your boss?" She lowered her gaze.
"Since the cameras disappeared, he's locked himself in that room."
"Damn coward!"
Only Rasca Culo and Mojón had entered the base. Luisa was with her team, about six companions, I looked at them.
"Would you mind if I give your idiot boss a couple of kicks?"
Some shook their heads, and others just widened their eyes. They knew the orders given by that fool were stupid.
"Here's the key to the door."
I activated the mask. The moment I opened it, Tommy reacted automatically and shot as soon as I opened the door. I threw Luisa away when the bullet hit my chest.
"I told you, I hope you didn't forget that I'm a killer. You're a damn traitor!"
I took the gun and shot him in the legs. It wouldn't be me who killed him; he had to explain himself, and I had a feeling it wouldn't be pleasant.
"Roland, did Any see this?"
"I hope so, that huge piece of trash, did he intend to kill my sister?" Tommy was moaning in pain. I approached and disarmed him.
"You're clear to come in!" Luisa looked irate. She read him his rights and handcuffed him.
"Leicy! Tend to his wounds. I want him fully conscious to give us an explanation. Aren't you going to say anything?"
"Everything's been said."
"Rot in hell."
And it was she who kicked him in the face, leaving him lying on the floor. I took off my mask. I didn't want her brother to see how I devoured that mouth.
