Chapter 125 - I Caught You - Fedds

Chapter 125 - I Caught You - Fedds
Simón

While we were in line to check in and enter the waiting room, a familiar smell caught my attention. There was a voluptuous woman with big lips, silicone breasts, and butt. I smiled. "Today you won't escape. You might be good with disguises, but you can't do anything to hide your scent, and believe me, brunette, you smell different."

I didn't look away. She looked ordinary. From my small backpack, I took out the trackers. I left the line I was in and moved to hers. There were two people behind her. Mojón was watching me. I signaled him to stay put with a look.

With cunning, I got closer, unzipped the outer pocket of her suitcase, and slipped in a tracker. I was heading to the end of the line when I saw her put her handbag on the suitcase. I went back to do the same operation. A respectable woman wouldn't leave her handbag. Now I returned to the line with Mojón.

"Can I know what the hell you were doing?"

I turned sideways, feeling her eyes on me. She hadn't noticed. We handed over our boarding passes and were shown where to go for immigration. This time, the voluptuous woman had a blonde wig.

I waited for her to pass, doing it intentionally to feel that mix of her sweat and vanilla perfume again. It was her. As if it was indifferent, it was just an act of chivalry. Then I ignored her, and before entering the VIP lounge, I stopped again to open the door for the two women behind us. At that moment, our eyes met. She had the same eye color as her late brother.

"Thank you very much."

Both women said at the same time. I didn't show much importance, but on purpose, I winked at the woman with the silicone breasts, and she got nervous.

"It's nothing." I thought, "Do you still think you have control?"

I traveled on the same plane with Roland's sister, confirming that she was the one continuing the plan. Discreetly, I got closer. That cat-like hair was fake. I attached an almost invisible tracker. As soon as I get to Colombia, I'll find out where she's staying.

I went to the bathroom; I had three hours left on the flight. When I came back, I saw the two women were asleep. With the utmost care, I opened the overhead compartment where they had put their bag, took it, and sat down. Mojón looked at me puzzled but said nothing. I took out her wallet, photographed everything. The name was fake. The woman had said her name was Luisa, but the name on all her documents and passport was Megan. You're good, brunette.

But now the Rat hunts the cat. Though today you seem like a tigress. I put a tracker in her wallet and makeup bag. She can change everything, but a woman never leaves those two things. From my backpack, I took out a phone and cloned hers. After that, I put the bag back in its place and forgot about her entirely. I was aware that she got up to go to the bathroom an hour later, and I closed my eyes. Keep thinking you're ahead. But I've already caught you.

Miguel

I was being treated at the clinic. I didn't even feel it when they shot me in the arm. All I could think about was getting everyone to safety. For God's sake, four important people in my life almost died. Now I'm going to kill Diana! They killed Navaja; he left two kids and a wife... Damn! At least that family won't lack anything. Roland created insurance for his employees' families.

My little girl had a severe head injury, needing stitches, and my mom had a fractured hand. Thank God it wasn't more serious. Isaac and the lady were unharmed. Rasca Culo was handling perimeter security. My wound needed stitches; the bullet came out clean. One of our trainees was at the clinic, but he was now in a specialization. Rino would arrive in a few months.

If I hadn't put the tracker on my son this morning, in the gold bracelet I had made for him, I wouldn't have known about their plans to leave... LEAVE! As if I would allow it. Over my dead body, Diana Ramírez will leave my life. Shit, I'm a damn selfish man, but I can't let her go. She did me good; with that smile, she showed me a different reality. Now I understood the pattern. When the right one came, it was a world different from yours.
While the doctor was attending to me, I remembered the night I had her under my caresses. God, kissing her and savoring her ass was different and delicious; she tasted and smelled exquisite to me. Strike me down if I let anyone touch her again. The lady was right; I was screwed to the core by that little one who had completely transformed my life. I need her, and now they know about us.

Before, nothing interested me; my life was crap. But now... I remembered what happened a few hours ago. I had heard Diana telling the lady that she had found three possible apartments to rent. Rage surged through my veins. What was this woman thinking? Trying to drive me insane? I didn't say anything; I preferred to stay silent. I followed them with the team; the clever women went out without escorts.

In the lady's car, and even Inés supported going out unaccompanied. Once they arrived at the supposed apartment in the Kennedy area, I parked the van a block away. They entered the place, and I waited for them to come out. "You're wasting your time, Diana. You're not leaving my side." However, everything happened in a split second. They were heading back to the car when out of nowhere, three vans arrived, and more than ten men got out. My watch started beeping, and seconds later, my phone was ringing in my pants pocket.

"This crap just heated up."

That's what I said. A man grabbed the lady from behind; she was pushing Isaac's stroller. Without any hesitation, I shot the guy in the back, hitting his spine, and he fell. Everything turned into chaos; gunshots were heard, and a man was grabbing Inés. I killed him too. The lady had taken the child out of the stroller and was protecting him with her body on the ground while another guy was carrying my woman like a sack of potatoes.

I shot him twice in the legs; she fell. That's when she hit the ground. Rasca culo got to my side, and we started taking them down one by one. I saw Navaja fall to the ground. Churrusco killed the driver of one of the vans and shot the tires of the other two so they couldn't escape.

Meanwhile, Cereza was driving the car onto the sidewalk to get to the women. We had to get them out of there. That's when we ran to reach them, although my goal was to get Diana out. Nonetheless, at point-blank range and from a distance, I took down the guy aiming at Mrs. Verónica. Not without shouting first, I remembered everything that happened.

"Over my dead body, you bastard." It was Zuluaga. "You messed with the wrong people."

The shot was clean, and I hit him in the head. I felt a sting in my left arm, and I took down two more while running to get the lady who was carrying my son into the car.

"Get in, ma’am!" I ran to Inés's body; she was holding her wrist. "Get in!" Diana was still on the ground. By the time I reached her, the gunfire had ceased. "Darling?"

"Miguel, Isaac..."

"He's fine." I carried her; she clung to my neck. "You're bleeding!" On impulse, I kissed her. I had her in my arms; she was so small, so fragile. "You need a doctor; we'll talk later."

"I know you're going to scold me." She pouted.

"Onion!"

Cereza shouted. I took Diana to the car and saw a motorcycle turning the corner and driving away. Damn it! Now they know about her. I had to get her away... Rasca culo stayed behind to clean up with Churrusco.

"Mr. Miguel, you just need to take care of the wound now." The doctor brought me back to the present.

"Thank you."

"I'll be back with the prescription for the medication, an anti-inflammatory, and an antibiotic."

"I'll be here."

As the doctor left, Miriam arrived, a nurse with whom I had shared more than kisses. I hadn't seen her since Diana came into my life. I hadn't gone out with anyone since that little woman stormed into my existence like a hurricane.

"Onion."

I saw the concern in her eyes. Now the situation made me uncomfortable; before, I didn't give a damn about leaving a woman when I got tired of them. The girl wasn't bad; I knew she felt something for me. She approached and kissed me. Instinctively, I put some distance between us. She was surprised to see me push her away.

"Don't do that again," I responded very seriously.

"You've changed. You don't answer my calls anymore."

"Miriam, I don't have to. I was very clear with you; we are nothing." She tried to kiss me again, and I pushed her away.

"What a lack of ethics!"
