The driver quickly got out of the car and carried the woman who had fainted in front of the car into the car. At that moment, he realized that she was holding a cinerary urn in her arms.
Shit!
The driver pulled hard on the cinerary urn, but it did not even move. He looked at the man sitting to one side with a doubtful and trembling look, -Director Adam, this...-.
With a cold look, the man only glanced at the cinerary urn that the woman held in her arms, and said calmly, -Go drive.
The driver hurriedly climbed into his seat and restarted the car.
The rain outside the window was getting heavier and the sky was getting darker and darker.
The beam of light in the car was dim. Adam lowered his gaze. The woman lying next to him had her long black hair wet and sticking to her pale little face. And there was a long scratch on her white arm. Blood was oozing out. She looked very lonely and poor.
It looked like she hadn't crashed the car on purpose to ask him for money.
The road on the rainy night was very wet and slippery. And there were heavy rain fogs. After the driver made a sharp turn, the slender woman's body in the back seat was thrown over the man's thighs.
Adam frowned slightly and lowered his head....
The woman's face lay in the middle of his pants....
Adam's face became very cold.
-Facundo, should I send you to driving school to learn again?
The driver looked in the rearview mirror in fear, how embarrassing!
Facundo laughed, "Director Adán, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Today the rain is too heavy.
Adam moved the woman's body to the side casually with his hands.
The woman's eyes were still closed. It looked like she wasn't going to wake up yet.
Adam looked at the woman's tender pale lips. His black eyes shrank.
...
At the hospital, when Estrella awoke, she saw a female figure swaying in her slightly open vision.
-Star! You woke up! You scared the hell out of me!
Perla Prats? Her college classmate and friend.
Estrella murmured faintly with cracked lips, "Pearl? You... Why are you here?
She touched the chest and noticed that her father's cinerary urn was missing. She tried to get up and said excitedly, "Pearl, have you seen my father's cinerary urn?
Perla helped her up quickly, "Here it is. You didn't lose it. Don't get up. The doctor said you are very weak now.
Perla gave her the cinerary urn. She grabbed it immediately, using all her strength as if it were a treasure.
After learning what had happened in her family, Perla became so angry that she insulted Doria and Irene for a long time. She hugged Estrella, said sympathetically, "If I hadn't come to the hospital today to see my newborn cousin, maybe I wouldn't even have met you. My cousin is in the VIP baby room. If you need anything, remember to call me. If I can't help you, my uncle will surely be able to help you. You should sleep to rest. I will come to see you after I see my cousin.
Perla patted Estrella's back. She let her hold the cinerary urn and settled her on the blanket. She smiled relaxedly, "Estrella, rest well, call me if you need anything!
Estrella's mind was in chaos. When she closed her eyes, only the scene of her father jumping from a tall building appeared.
Her tears slid silently from the corners of her eyes.
...
In the baby room next door.
As soon as Perla pushed open the door and gently stepped inside, she felt the pressure in the room.
Roberto Rouco leaned on a cane and looked at the newborn baby girl in the incubator with a complicated look, "Adam, what a foolish thing you did! I didn't expect you to do something so ridiculous!
Roberto raised the cane and hit Adam hard on the leg. He lowered his voice and asked angrily, "Where is the girl's biological mother?
Adam pursed his thin lips, his stern face was very calm, -He died of childbirth.
...
Roberto became very angry, -Do you want me to die of anger?!
Perla was looking out of the incubator, pulling Roberto's arm and whispered, "Grandpa, look. How nice is the cousin. Don't get mad. She's been urging my uncle to get married and have a son. Now he already has a daughter, why are you still angry?
-I asked him to get married first and have a son later. I didn't want him to have a daughter all of a sudden! He hadn't told me anything and he already had a daughter. Does he still take me as his father?
At that moment, a nurse opened the door and politely reminded him, "President Roberto, you must speak quietly so as not to disturb the baby.
Roberto opened his mouth, looked at the sympathetic baby in the incubator, sighed helplessly and left the room with the cane.
Perla smiled at Adam, "Man, you did it so fast. You don't have a girlfriend yet, you already have a daughter. Congratulations.
-It's a matter for the adults. It has nothing to do with you.
Adam glanced at the sleeping baby with a complicated look and said, "Take care of your cousin. I'm going out for a while.
He left an unchanged order, Adam left the room.
The driver Facundo returned after paying the expense, "Director Adán, I have already paid all the girl's medical expenses.
-Where is she?
-It's next door, there....
Facundo pointed to the room next door. But the bed was already empty. Scratching his head, he did not understand what had happened, "Hey, where is she?
When a nurse came in to tidy up the room, Adam frowned and asked, "Where is the girl who stayed in this room?
-Do you know her? She just left.
