Chapter 95 Thomas
Chapter 95 Thomas
I really fucking don't want to talk about the shit that goes on at home but it seems Creed was able to sense a shift in him at one point and felt the need to mark him to make him understand that no one see's him that way. I want to jump with joy at the fact that my twin brother has a mate but now I'm worried on how everyone will react to what we say. I know our sperm donors have been treating him and insulting him completely differently than they do me. I freaking hate talking about my feelings. Why do we have to talk about them, can't we just forget the past and focus on the here and now. Which is going to involve a lot of sex with the way fate is stepping in. I'm not complaining, the quicker I get to mark my mates the happier I will be but I just don’t want to discuss my home life with them.
I nuzzle my nose into Jazz's shoulder to get as much as her scent as possible because this conversation is going to piss me off and disappoint me all at once. Jazz squeezes me tighter and I relish in the feel of her arms around me like this. I knew I would have a mate when the time was right but I didn’t take into account how it would feel to have them wrapped in my arms and how just having them close is enough to calm the rising feelings just thinking about my shitty parents. I'm curious f she is sensing my turmoil because she turns her body into me to straddle my lap and press her nose into my chest. I feel a slight vibration and look down to see her eyes are closed as she purrs a little like a damn cat. It's actually relaxing some in its vibration. I lean into it and relax back in the chair I’m sitting in. With a dopey feeling I look to Tyler and say, “Go ahead and start talking Ty, I'll chip in when I need to. I really don't even want to be talking about this but I know it's needed to be said so you talk. I chime in with info you don’t know about.” I watch as serval emotions pass on his face before he settles on determination and nods at me. “Ok T you got it.” He glances at Jazz in my lap and smiles as he starts off at the beginning. With a weary sigh and a slight shuffle to get a little bit more comfortable he starts telling our story.
“Have you guys ever wondered why we don't offer to go to our house at the end of the day?” He asks the guys and I watch them furrow their brows and look at each other before Trent answers with a “No, not that I recall.” Tyler nods and says, “There is a reason for that. Our parents are greedy bastards who only care about their next fix or what they can finagle out of someone.” Trent jerks back like he’s been hit and I have to chuckle at the reaction. “You and Kill's parents are really the only ones we have ever considered as step ins. They showed us what true parental love is supposed to be like. I know Creed has had it extremely rough the last couple of years due to us graduating soon and they don’t give a damn about his designation. But our parents humph they are a piece of work.” I grumble out as I lean my head back against the chair and close my eyes. This is already raising my blood pressure and we haven’t even gotten to the good shit yet. I take a deep inhale thru my nose and hold it for 5 sec's then release it thru my mouth for 5 sec's and do it again before I feel myself remotely back to normal.
Once I have myself under control I look towards Ty and nod for him to continue story time. “What Thomas means is that our parents well hell where do I even start regarding them.” Ty says as he leans his head back against the headboard and rubs his chin in thought. “start from the beginning Ty.” Trent says calmly. Tyler blew a raspberry and nodded. “So, you know how you and Kill’s parents were fated mates Trent?” He asked them and they both nodded their heads in answer. “Well, our parents are not. They were an arranged mating. You see they met their fated mates but for some reason they rejected them to be with the person they were currently with. Of them doing that caused both sets of grandparents to do like the olden days and arrange for them to mate each other. I think our grandparents thought since they wanted to reject the goddess gift then they can deal with the consequences together.”
He finished and I heard Jazz’s gasp as she sits up in horror. “Why did they do that?” She asks in wonder. “Hell, how could they even do that. Rejecting your fated mate for any reason is damaging to the person and wolfs souls.” She looks at all of us and says with tears in her eyes “I never thought I wanted a mate due to my past but since meeting you guys and mating Creed I couldn’t even possibly think of rejecting any of you. That’s just barbaric and selfish to only think about themselves and not theirs or the other people wolfs. That pain and damage is unbearable.” She finishes with a sniffle and plants her face in my chest and she cries for those poor souls. I rub my hand up her back and look to Ty for guidance. He smiles sadly and goes on.
“I 100% agree with you Queenie but unfortunately our parents thought they could get away with it. Which after growing up with them I feel their mates were saved from dealing with the heartache of trying to appease them.” He sounds disappointed which I am too because I learned a long time ago that nothing, I ever did was going to ever satisfy them. “My mom is only that in title not in reference of the name. Even when we were younger our grandparents were the ones who basically raised us till, they passed. She wanted nothing to do with us or with dad.” Ty looks at Creed sleeping peacefully thru this before he continues. “Now our dad is a piece of work, his only care or passion is what he is able to swindle out of the next person he meets. He has never really worked a day in his life. He was never present when we were younger. Only there when his parents made him and it was always with his current flavor of the month.” I laugh at that because damn that’s truer then ever and still true. But now I thinks it’s moved to every day instead of the month.
