Chapter 128: What Does He Want?
As the door was pushed open, the light from John's room spilled in through the crack, illuminating not only a part of the doorway but also more than half of Grace's room.
Grace, who had her eyes half-closed, became rigid the moment her son opened the door and stepped in. She was so stiff that she couldn't move an inch. The only part of her that moved was her eyeballs, which darted back and forth under her eyelids.
Her mind in turmoil, she kept quietly asking herself over and over: What does John want by coming in? What does John want by coming in?
Amidst the swirling questions in her mind, John, who had opened his mother's bedroom door, brightened at the sight. Just as before, Grace was sleeping soundly on the large bed in her room, breathing evenly, completely oblivious to everything around her, as if she were a living corpse that would never wake up no matter how he toyed with her.
Seeing her mother lying in the bed facing the ceiling, John was reminded of the Sleeping Beauty in a fairy tale, waiting for a prince to come and wake her up with a kiss. Her beautiful face, fair features, and the graceful figure curled up under the blanket were all exquisite and captivating, drawing John's attention the moment he entered.
Even though John had taken advantage of Grace's sleep to come in more than once, each time she looked different in his eyes. It was indescribable, as if every time he opened the door, there was a different beautiful woman lying in the bed.
At this thought, John felt even more parched and his urge grew stronger. He swallowed hard and slowly walked towards his mother.
Grace, whose eyes had been darting around, stopped moving them at this moment. Although her eyes were closed, her perception was incredibly clear. She could feel every step John took as he approached her. Lying there with her eyes shut, she listened to him walking in and coming closer to her. Although it was pitch dark in front of her eyes, her mind vividly painted the picture.
Listening to the sounds, Grace speculated and one question after another popped up in her mind. It was so late, why was her son coming into her room? And why did he come in without knocking? What was he here for?
These questions filled Grace's mind as she lay in the bed, making her feel like a bowstring that had already been drawn, ready to be released at the slightest touch.
As her thoughts fluctuated, the footsteps grew closer and closer, until they finally stopped beside her bed. Feeling John's shadow fall on her, Grace's entire being became taut.
What does he want?
The moment this thought arose, Grace was tempted to open her eyes and ask her son right then and there what he was doing in her room in the middle of the night. But just before she could voice the question, John, who had come to the side of the bed, suddenly sat down.
Grace felt it very distinctly. The mattress sank sharply, and her son was already sitting beside her.
With her eyes still closed, Grace could clearly sense that her son's gaze was now fixed intently on her. This look was different from usual, carrying an intangible sharpness, burning hot as if there was a fire inside.
This gaze made Grace feel extremely uncomfortable, as if it had pierced through her entire body. In fact, that was exactly the case. At this moment, looking closely at his mother, John felt that the familiar face in front of him was like a blooming peony, extremely gorgeous.
Even though it wasn't the first time he had seen it, it was still so captivating that he couldn't stop looking. The fire that had risen from the soles of his feet seemed to burn even more fiercely.
The moment he sat down on the edge of the bed, through the thick blanket, John shrugged his nose as if he could already smell the familiar scent of his mother. That fragrance seemed like countless tiny hands growing out, enticing him.
Just as Grace was about to open her eyes to ask, her son, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, suddenly leaned down towards her. Grace felt it very distinctly. A shadow suddenly appeared in front of her, and then she felt a figure pressing down on her.
In her confusion, her son's red lips suddenly and forcefully pressed against her own red lips.
Ugh...
In just an instant, Grace felt as if she had been electrocuted. The sensation of lips touching lips instantly spread throughout her entire body from her lips, like an electric shock, numbing her limbs and shaking her heart.
Buzzing, like a child in first love who had their first kiss taken away, Grace's mind went completely blank. She never expected that her son, her only pride and support, would actually kiss her.
What's more, the moment their lips met, John, as usual, extended his tongue towards his mother's red lips. At this moment, Grace was still immersed in the shock of being kissed by her son and hadn't had time to react. John's tongue had already forcefully pried open her teeth and entered her mouth.
In this moment, it felt like an eternity. Grace, filled with shock, subconsciously opened her eyes.
Perhaps because they were so close, Grace clearly saw her son's face. His forehead was touching hers, and he had his eyes closed, shaking his head from side to side, trying to push his tongue deeper into the mouth of the woman beneath him, who was his mother, just like those passionate men kissing their beloved women. His tongue invaded every corner of Grace's mouth, stirring around wantonly.
It was strange to say, but John usually kissed Grace with his eyes open. Only today, for some unknown reason, he subconsciously closed his eyes.
It was precisely because he closed his eyes in passion that he didn't notice his mother was wide awake at this moment, her pupils filled with disbelief, and her body rigidly unlike usual.
For a moment, a series of complex expressions flashed in Grace's eyes: surprise, anger, astonishment, and shock. These emotions mingled together in such a way that it was hard to describe what she was feeling.
The moment her son John kissed her, Grace's mind recalled the doctor's words, and waves of heartache, along with the sounds echoing in her mind, twisted her insides.
So it turned out that she... had really been drugged!
And the person who drugged her was none other than John, the one she trusted the most as her own flesh and blood!
