Freya was bored sitting there waiting with absolutely nothing to do. She used to be an active person when she wasn't working at the hospital, studying, or doing anything else.

Now that she was in the house, often alone, she didn't have much to do. Since she didn't know how long they would take, Freya went to the pool for a swim.

After some time in the pool, Freya decided to look for something to read in Hendrik's study. She searched the shelves until she found a novel and decided to read it. She would go back to the living room, as she didn't know if Hendrik would get annoyed with her being in his office.

Passing by the desk, Freya saw that there were some photos under an envelope. She couldn't contain her curiosity and took a look at the pictures.

Freya was shocked when she looked at the pictures. They were several dead bodies, and in one of them, the specific dead body was Esteban. From the condition of the corpse, Esteban seemed to have been tortured, with one of his hands even being but off.

At that moment, Freya connected the dots in her head. It became clear to her that Sasha was the one who did it. When they arrived from Colombia, Freya didn't see Sasha, and when Sasha finally appeared, she said she had gone to clean up a mess. This must have been the mess Sasha was talking about.

What Freya didn't want to believe was that Hendrik could have ordered this solely because of the incident in the bathroom. While Freya mentally questioned and continued looking at the pictures, she heard Hendrik's voice from the office.

" What are you doing in here?" Hendrik asked calmly but seemed annoyed. He noticed what Freya had in her hands and went to her, taking the photos she was holding and putting them back in the envelope.

" Did you order this?" Instead of answering the question, Hendrik Said something else. " You weren't supposed to see this." Freya repeated the question to Hendrik, " I asked a question, Did you order this?" Hendrik sat down and stared at Freya.

" Yes, I ordered it. He deserved it." The way Hendrik said it was chillingly cold. Freya thought that she would feel extremely guilty if Hendrik's answer was ye.

" It wasn't solely because of you. On the day I interrogated that guy, I found out what she and the rest of his gang were doing behind my back." Hendrik decided to tell Freya everything, as what he didn't want to happen had happened, and Freya had seen the photos of what his darker side could do. It was better for her to know everything.

"When I joined this society, I made it crystal clear what I wouldn't participate in. One of those things were human trafficking, and he and his accomplices were using our society and my influence to do that. Not only did he have a partnership with me, but also with Tobias."

" Before Sasha went to Colombia, she intercepted a cargo containing women and children at the port. I was already suspicious, and with my visit, I had confirmation. His hand was really because of you, because he dared to touch you in that bathroom. The rest was for the betrayal, for the men, women, and children he trafficked and even killed."

" I didn't want you to see this side of me, Freya but since you did, I want you to understand one thing. I may be a criminal and do things like this sometimes, but I have a code of honor that I seriously need to uphold. The guy who tried to take you at the restaurant worked for Esteban, who ordered the hit at Tobias request. Now you can understand why I was so angry that day and said I don't accept betrayal. I wasn't referring to you."

Freya didn't exactly know how she felt with that piece of information. She thought it would be better not to say anything for the time being, or she might say something that could possibly upset Hendrik. Freya picked up the book that was in the table and said she had only come to get a book to read and started to leave. Hendrik asked her to wait.

Hendrik stood up and walked over to her, looked into her eyes, and made a request, " I want to ask you something, regardless of what you have seen here or heard about me, I want to ask you not to be afraid of me," Hendrik took her hand and placed it on the left side of his chest.

" You really moved me here, I am more certain than ever that I am not just in love with you, you have changed something inside of me, and I can say with absolute certainty that I truly love you,"

Even though Hendrik had a boyfriend Rico before, whom he really liked, he had never used the words " I love you " to anyone before, this was the first time, and he only said if because he felt that Freya had managed to awaken that in him.

" You have truly become my weakness, Freya, and I would never hurt you, I don't think I would even if you betrayed me." Freya knew that betrayal was something Hendrik hated the most, and for him to say that he wouldn't even hurt her if she betrayed him was a true sign of love.

Freya also felt that her relationship with Hendrik had brought her different things, different feelings, different sensations and she could also admit that she was in love with Hendrik." I love you too."

Freya allowed Hendrik to kiss her and then Left the office. Hendrik didn't stop her because he knew that Freya had a lot to think about. He stayed there alone and silently pleaded with Freya not to give up on them.

In another location, Tobias closed his laptop, rested his elbow on the table, and spoke to himself," so, you like to feel pain? What a beautiful coincidence, because I enjoy inflicting pain, and I will bring you much greater pain than Hendrik could ever bring. I can't wait to see Hendrik's face when he sees the surprise I have for him, and then Freya dear, there will be absolutely no one to stop you from being mine."
