CHAPTER 25

~Alexander~

Ever since my coronation, Tyler has been giving me an off vibe like he was angry at me or something worse, at first, I did not care as I assumed that he woke up on the wrong side of the bed, I could not even depict why he was even pissed at me, he was the one flirting with my mate even though that he did not know that.

As for Alison, the sex that I had with her was lame and I was slowly getting tired of it, very soon, I would dump her, my parents did not like her anyways, so, they would be in full support of my decision.

I do not even want to talk about Avery because I would not end up getting a boner, it was crazy how just a tiny drop of attention that you would show to a girl would make her head over heels for you, she was only going to get her heart broken because I did not have interest in her currently and I never will.

I was still thinking of whether or not to move out of the school and to my pack house when Alison pulled me out of my thoughts with her irritating high-pitched voice.

‘’Hey, babe!’’ She greeted as she attempted to sit on my lap.

‘’Don’t.’’ I warned her in a cold tone.

She looked around as people noticed how awkward that just went for her but I did not care.

‘’Okay, Alpha Lexi.’’

‘’I am a guy not a girl, it is either Lex or do not bother to call my name at all.’’ I told her.

She furrowed her brows at me as she found the statement offensive, ‘’Did I do something to you?’’

‘’No.’’ I replied her.

‘’Then, why are you behaving this way?’’ She questioned further which infuriated me.

‘’Enough of this! Ugh, just leave me the fuck alone, bro. Can’t you see that I am not in the mood for your bullshit?!’’ I yelled at her, causing her eyes to tear up.

‘’Wasn’t that too harsh on her?’’ My wolf asked me.

‘’If that is what it takes for her to leave me then I don’t fucking care, besides, she is not your mate, so, why are you bothered!’’ I replied him.

‘’The person that I am bothered about, you do not give a flying fuck about her.’’ He cussed, referring to Avery.

‘’Good thing that you know, so, stop asking me about any of them.’’ I told him before breaking the link.

She stood up and ran out with tears streaming down her face, expecting me to follow her, so, I could apologize but that was never going to happen.

‘’Where is Tyler?’’ I questioned Troy who only responded with shrug.

‘’I don’t know, man.’’

My eyes searched through the cafeteria and I could not find Avery either, I clenched my jaw and balled my fist as I tried to control myself from exploding.

It was not possible that they were together, she would not even dare to cheat on me.

I marched out in search of both of them, it was only the goddess that save both of them from my wrath if I catch them making out, I only kept quiet last night because I did not want to create a scene in my coronation party.

I traced her by her scent and she was not in any of the classes, instead, she was in our room, sleeping peacefully, luckily, I met Tyler in the hallway who shot me a deadly glare as if I had killed one of his family members.

‘’What is wrong with you, bro? You have been acting like a pussy since yesterday.’’ I pointed out.

He scoffed, ‘’I am acting like a pussy? Well, don’t mind me, I am just following the footsteps of my Alpha as his beta.’’

I scrunched my brows in anger, ‘’What the hell do you mean by that?’’

‘’Don’t play dumb with me, Alex.’’ He warned.

Trust Tyler for never going straightforward with his statements.

‘’Not all of us are lucky to have a mate and the ones that has are ungrateful, I would not want to say that the goddess is such an unfair person.’’ He began.

‘’You have always been complaining of having Alison around and you could not wait to meet your wolf mate, so, that you can kick her out.’’ He continued.

I had suspicions of where he was driving at but I did not want to believe it.

‘’Now, you have found her and she turned out to be the sweetest thing ever but you want nothing to do with her, you treat your Luna like she is nobody! Are you serious, right now?!’’

Yeah, I was right about it.

‘’I do not know what you are talking about, what makes you think that I have my mate? If I did, do you think that I will be quiet about it?’’ I asked him, hoping that he would buy my pretense.

‘’Yes, I have known you for long. You are ashamed of her because she is weak which makes you, a very shitty person because you are supposed to train her to be better!’’ He stated.

‘’I wonder who is this rumor monger that told you, this bullshit.’’ I said.

‘’Avery, your mate and your Luna. You will have no choice other than to accept her once I tell the Lycan.’’ He threatened.

My eyes instantly became darker, ‘’Is that a threat?!’’

‘’No, I am actually going to do it. The only person that I pity here is Avery because she is stuck with a dumb ass like you who does not appreciate the blessings that the goddess has given to him!’’ He remarked.

I burst into hysterical laughter and it made him stare at me as if I had gone crazy, ‘’You call that thing, a blessing? You really need to get a dictionary, bro. She is more like a curse to me and if you think that I am not good for her then feel free to mark her as yours and I will not get angry at all because you would be easing me of my burden and you even need her after all, you won’t be getting a mate anytime soon, an Alpha’s daughter who is an Omega is a mate to the beta, such a wonderful couple. Even her own pack especially her father and brother are ashamed of her, so, why should I be shameless?’’

He shook his head, ‘’I can see that you have fully lost it, you are going to want her sooner or later, just hope by that time, it is not late.’’

He was about to walk out on me when I pulled him back, ‘’Also, if my father gets to know about this, just know that your life as my beta would be very worse than horrible, this is not a threat, it is a warning.’’

He freed himself off my grip before walking away, I immediately headed for my room, she had such a lousy mouth and I was going to fix it.
