Chapter 42

I exploded with excitement when Dario said he would take me out for a real date. I can't remember the last time I went on a real date. Dario smiled at my face trying to contain my hysteria, then he asked,

“Do we need to be at your place to serve Radamanthos tea?”

I laughed and said,

“He’s not really coming over for tea, and he doesn’t like me being around when his crew is… cleaning up.”

Dario raised his eyebrows and nodded his head then said,

“Ok, in that case, do you know where I would find another comforter in this place?”

I followed Dario’s gaze to his wet bedding and I nervously said,

“Oh my gosh, I am so sorry.”

Dario wrapped his arms around me and pulled my naked body into his and whispered,

“Don't ever be sorry for that.”

He held me a moment longer then let go. I got up and gathered my clothes and asked if I could use the bathroom, he pointed to a door on the other side of his room and I quickly headed to it. Inside the bathroom, I cleaned myself up and got dressed then met a half dressed Dario back in the room. He was taking the comforter off the bed and I left the room to fetch the ipad that controls the house from the coffee table in the living room then returned to Dario. We each took a seat in the set of chairs perched in front of the window in Dario’s room. I showed him how to use the housekeeping function and within minutes a sweet little lady was at the front door ready to change Dario’s bed set.

We sat in the living room while the housekeeper was doing her thing in the room. The ipad vibrated on the coffee table and I grabbed it out of instinct. There was a notification for the doorbell camera. I assumed it would be Radamanthos and his crew, instead it was a carrier, dropping off a package at my door. Dario saw the person leave a parcel at my door and get on the elevator. He grabbed his gun and motioned for me to stay on the couch, he kept the front door open and I observed him creep into the hallway and over to the package. Dario looked at it, then relaxed his body and picked it up. He brought it in and handed it to me after he closed the front door. I opened it and discovered my new phone. I half heartedly smiled at Dario and opened the box and started setting it up. While I was going through the settings on the phone, Dario was on the ipad, probably trying to figure it out. After awhile I asked,

“Do you think Radamanthos has left yet?”

Dario raised a brow, looking up at me from his phone and said,

“They left a quick minute ago.”

“Dario! Why didn’t you tell me?”

He gave me a questioned look and replied,

“I didn’t know that's what you were waiting for.”

I rose from the couch and said,

“I have to go get ready for our date!”

His expression was surprised when he said,

“And that's going to take *all* day?”

I crossed my arms and asked,

“Well what time did you expect to pick me up?”

Dario blinked a few times and said,

“Seven?”

My eyes grew wide and I said,

“5 hours from now?!”

Dario couldn’t hold in his laughter when he asked,

“Do you need more time?”

I thought for a moment then asked,

“Where are you going to take me? You don’t even know your way around here.”

Dario winked at me and said,

“Don't worry about that.”

His winks awoke an arousal inside me I didn't know I had. It was incredibly sexy. Dario asked,

“Oh, you wanna go again?”

And he pointed in the direction of his bedroom. My mouth dropped open and I asked,

“How do you know what I'm thinking?”

Dario stood to meet me and put his hand on my neck and whispered in my ear,

“So you *do* want to go again?”

Dario put my hand on his shorts over his very hard cock and I dropped my head and he started sucking on my neck. Just before my knees buckled, the sweet little lady cleared her throat. I quickly stepped away from Dario and thanked the lady while I walked her to the door. When I closed it behind her, I turned to Dario and said,

“I’m going to go get ready then.”

Dario looked a little sad when he nodded and I left his apartment and went down the hall to mine. I immediately called Keegan and screamed into the receiver when she answered,

“DARIO IS TAKING ME OUT ON A DATE!!”

Keegan matched my energy,

“AAAHH BITCH! I’m so excited for you!!! What are you going to wear?”

I bit my lip,

“Fuck! I don't know?”

Keegan replied,

“I’ll be there by the time you get out of the shower.”

The line dropped and I knew Keegs was on her way and I better get in the shower.

Keegan was right, I heard her knock on the door when I entered my room after my shower. When I let her in she was smiling ear to ear. I chuckled at her and let her in. We went back to my room and I quickly dressed in some yoga shorts and a sports bra. Keegan helped me go through my clothes. I got frustrated and confessed,

“I don't even know the vibe, Dario doesn’t even know where to take me.”

Keegan smiled and said,

“Trust me, he does, and I would stick to a cocktail dress.”

I looked at Keegan suspiciously and she crumbled under my glare,

“He found me on instagram and may have asked me where you want to go.”

My heart melted. I was thinking tonight's plans were going to fall on me, but he actually figured out, on his own, what I would want to do. I took my time and blew out my hair. I did my makeup with a dark gray smokey eye and decided to wear a short light gray velvet dress with black velvet heels. Three hours later I was ready to go. Keegan kissed my cheek as she wished me luck and left my apartment. I grabbed my black velvet clutch, stuffed my phone into it and left my apartment.

I took the five steps to Dario’s door and I paused. I started over thinking my outfit and the makeup. I turned around to run back to my place to change but Dario opened the door and asked,

“Where do you think you're going, psychí mou?”

I spun back around and shrugged my shoulders. Dario gave me a look over and said,

“Hera, you look beautiful. But i thought I was supposed to come get you in…”

Dario glanced at his watch and continued,

“Two more hours.”

I chuckled nervously and said,

“Guess I didn’t need all 5 hours…”

Dario smiled wide and confessed,

“Thank god, I didn't know how I was going to wait any longer.”

Dario grabbed my arm and pulled me into him and kissed me like he thought he was never going to see me again.
