Hades’ p.o.v
I was seething. My kiss was ineffective. No matter what I did, she did not seem to wake up.
I looked at the beauty on my bed.
‘there is no care’ a voice whispered at the back of my head but I could not shake It off my head.
There was something about er, seeing her in this condition made my chest tighten.
‘it was beating’ I stood stunned. That had never happened before.
“i…” Zeus tried saying something but I was over it. if I did hear his voice this time around, I really was going to snap his head and trap his essence in Tartarus
“not another word, I don’t know why you did it, but I can assure you, if she dies, you will spend eternity in your own personal hell” I said, my voice filled with spite that I could barely contained myself.
“you are just after her soul, why are you getting worked up?” he said, unsure.
“I. SAID. NOT. ANOTHER. WORD!!!” the ground beneath me trembled that the souls started to cry out, a little more than usual.
“I think you should go, and for now, I do not want to see you anywhere near here”
I was glad he did not put up a fight with me because I was at my wits end.
“wake up, stinky, you are putting me on the edge”
**
“at this rate, I think you might have some perverted thoughts to kiss an unconscious person this much”
“you are not supposed to be here” I said, my back tensed to hold myself from lashing out. That seemed to be the only thing I did since stinky has been unconscious.
“well, I had to see if you were alright, your aura is making the souls far more uncomfortable”
“well the fuck!! They are in hell!! They should deal with it!!!” I growled, letting off more of my powers unintentionally, but not caring to stop it.
“my Lord, I know you are angry, but….” He sighed, as though thinking more of what he was about to say. “I shall be at my post if you need me” he said, avoiding my gaze as he walked out.
“Ceberus? I am sorry for lashing out, I just…”
“it is fine my Lord, I understand. Just don’t finish her lips trying to revive her, plus I am not sure how she might take it if she wakes up to you kissing her regardless of your reason” he said, smiling a bit before turning to his true form and disappearing.
I paced the room some more, trying to keep the tension at bay but nothing seemed to be working. For some reason, the situation bothered me to no ends.
“I don’t lie to see you in this pain, for some reason, seeing you like this makes my guts twist”
I sighed, looking at the unconscious body ‘I have to try, she Is not dead yet, so the kiss must be working ’I told myself as I leaned closer to her, inhaling her scent and…
“WHAT THE HELL!!!....”
VALERIE’S P.O.V
I shoved him away as hard as I could but that did not seem to make much impact as my body was weak. “what were you trying to do to me?!!!!” I screeched, my voice coming out like a crazed old woman. He was close, too close. His lips were just above mine and his tongue was seeking entrance. I could still feel his taste on mine
“I was just..”
“is this it? is this how you plan to take my life?”
“no I did not..’
“of course! You had the opportunity to take my life before” I found myself gasping “you vermin!!!!!” I yelled suddenly gaining the strength I did not know I could possess, considering how weak I felt prior. “you find pleasure in this don’t you? Taking advantage of …”
“stop right there” his voice came, freezing me in my place. I had just experienced an almost death situation and I was not willing to go back, so I kept quiet almost immediately. Almost as If my lips had been sealed.
“I am a gentleman and I do not act in such despicable ways, I was trying to pour my essence into you to neutralise the poison and that is the most effective method. Did you really think I would want to get the slightest bit close to you if it was not necessary?” he said with so much indifference as he straightened his back and left. He scoffed “like I would want to be near someone with that stink”
I watched him leave with so much annoyance
“such a prick, I must have hit my head all those times I loved him! Do I really have such bad taste?” I said I annoyance when I was sure he had gone quite a distance.
‘I mean he does not hurt the eyes’ a betrayal thought crossed my mind, one I flung out the window as though it could be seen by others.
“does not hurt the eyes my foot” I scoffed, more irritated that my own thoughts were betraying me “he definitely hurts the eyes. A very sore sight!!! And when next I see him, I would tell him that .... his audacity, its just ...AGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!" i was this close to ripping out my hair
'but why was i this agigated?' i asked myself but for some reason, i could not find the answer to that
