She Did It

Calista's POV

I decided to have lunch with Ruth, I hate that he placed my job on the line.

"Are you insane? Why will you stop the boss from doing what he has in mind? You will lose your job now.” Ruth added.

"Oh come on, have some faith in me,” I added.

"You don't understand, the lady in question won't speak with anyone and you think walking to her to speak directly will change anything? Come on, it's never too late, go back to the boss and beg him, tell him you take back your word, I really love you around the company.” She said holding my hands,I know she feels so sorry for me but I actually got this under control, it's a pity Ruth doesn't know my real agenda.

"Just trust me, Ruth, I will be able to talk to her and that will be all, things will fall back in place.”

"Seems you have made up your mind already, anyway, I will try my possible best to pray for you on your behalf that she listens because if she fails to listen, you are done for.”

"I heard you, now let's finish our meal before it gets cold.” I smiled at her.

"Yeah, let's do that.”

We returned to the company after eating and I realized the boss was still not back, where the hell is he? Well it's good he is not even here, he should not even come to the office any more.

I was about to call the girl working for me  when Casper's call interrupted immediately, "Come to my office to see me right away.”

“Is everything okay?” I asked.

"Just come over, I should talk to you face to face.”

"You know I can't leave work just like that right?”

"When you close, come to the school.” He ended the call, wait a second do not tell me Parker already told him what I was up to, well this is good, if he knows then this will make him start trusting me with any of his affair and by then, I will get enough information I need and evidence that can lock him for good without getting out.

I texted her saying,"Let's meet at the game house in disguise.”

"Okay mama,” she replied immediately, I won't see him just yet, I will take him unaware.

I was in disguise and paid for the 3d game saying, no one is allowed to step in apart from someone who goes by the name Princess, yes I am capable of paying off some stuff because I have mother by my side.

She came as planned and I hugged her saying, "You did an excellent job.”

"Thanks so much, ma'am.” She reacted with a smile on her face and went on to say, "I did everything you asked of me.”

"I know, that's why I hugged you, your documents are ready but before you leave, you have to do two things,” I said to her and she gave me the impression that she was ready.

I gave her a document to sign, she dares not tell anyone that she knows me or worked for me, also anything she has on Casper belongs to me alone, she has no right to give it to another source,I already got the document ready even before she started her job.

She signed the document and the last thing remaining for her to do, I ordered her," Make a video of yourself apologizing that after you spoke to Miss Calista, you realize what you were doing was wrong.”

"That won't be a problem ma'am, I can make the video now.”

"Okay, another important thing you have to say is this, you wanted money that was why you did it, make up a fake story that the world will pity you and then I will realize it, I will get what I want.”

"Okay mama, I will do that now and send it to you ”

"Better, also I don't advise you to make such a video here, someone might suspect, you have thirty minutes to get it ready and I will send someone to take you to the airport.”

"I really appreciate you, I will start getting it done ASAP.” She said before leaving.

I came out from the place with a fulfilled smile, I guess I will have to get a new dress for this occasion, I texted Casper saying, "Let's meet, I am sorry I couldn't come to your office, had some engagements to do.”

"I am at my cousin's home, come there, let's talk together, I really don't like the proposal you came up with.”

"Okay then, see you soon.”

I made sure I stopped at the boutique, and got a red short tight gown and black heels.

I will be the boss today and boom the video came up.

I arrived at Parker's home by 7:30 pm, I saw Casper and him seated with a few persons I had no idea of.

I was also happy for the fact Casper didn't show his flirting skills here, guess he took my word by not showing it in the presence of Parker.

"My cousin told me you ask him not to go with the last resort he has, how do you expect to talk to someone that doesn't want to talk to anyone?”

"Good evening boss.” I greeted Parker but he didn't answer me properly, I wondered why he was still angry and then I finally answered Casper, "I can help you, Sir Casper, it's my duty as your cousin's PA.” I know I am losing my job after all, I told him I will quit so today is my last.

Parker scoffed and it was so annoying, "How do you intend to do that?” Casper asked.

"I posted this and you have been cleared, simply without ruining anyone.” I placed my phone on the table in the middle for them to watch and I saw the surprise look on their faces.

They all congratulated me except for Parker, I knew it, he was going to be wondering how I did it, I am the boss here, they are meant to be on their knees, I crossed my legs looking at them with a smile.

Casper brought wine to celebrate and he texted me saying, "Let's have fun tonight what do you think?”

"I am sorry, I have some work stuff to do, maybe next time.”

"Okay, you know I can't make it obvious, my cousin is something else, I will be leaving now.”

After everything it was already 9 pm and the Internet was on fire, Casper suggested to take me home but Parker refused saying, "She has some files to check before leaving.”

I was shocked because I don't remember my boss telling me about other work but anyway, I acted normal after all it ends today but I can't lose this job, how can I tell him that I was just joking about residing, damn.

We bid them goodnight and Parker and I were left together.

We went back in and I decided to break the silence saying, "Boss, where are the documents I need to work on? Let me quick run through so I can go home, it's late already and after today, I am no more your PA, remember the agreement.”

"Come with me, it's in my room.”

I walked with him and when we got to his room he rushed me with a kiss as he pinned me to the wall.

"Stop it, what the hell do you think you are doing?” I slapped him.
