Hiro's POV.
How in the world did my best buddy fall for that jerk? Even though she was aware of Raven's extreme rudeness, she couldn't help but admire him. What was fed to her by Raven? What's going on here? I thought her heart was cold. How could that blasted man make her weep in front of me?
I wanted to laugh at her, but instead I listened to her complaints without saying anything. I recall how much she detested him at the time and refused to even be in physical education classes with him. She claimed that whenever she turned to face the man, he would glance in her direction, leaving her unsure of what to do.
I told her that he liked her, but she didn't believe me. Cbiara always told me that she hated every Smith, so why did she fall in love with a Smith twice? Is that a joke for her?
"Shit, Hiro!" She called me and sent me to Chicago. Daddy didn't know about me yet. I didn't have the courage yet. She was shaking her head and walking back and forth, so I got dizzy and scolded her, but she didn't even pay attention to me.
"What now, Cbiara? Don't tell me you made me come here because I'll just watch you walk; I'll punch you." I kid, but she didn't laugh yet she stopped, which makes me happy.
"Hiro,"
"Yes?"
"Hiro,"
"Yes?"
"Hiro,"
"Shit, Chiara! Are we going to joke with each other? I might I'll cut you off if I can't keep up with you." I shouted at her house. Yes, she had a house, yet a lonely one because she was alone.
"Hi-"
"Don't call me anymore; I'm already here!" I pointed to my face. She winched and got my hands off my face.
"It's ugly." She even managed to insult me, even though I was her only ally in this world. "Kidding aside, I want to tell you that I'm pregnant." I ate the popcorn I brought when she said that.
I coughed and glared at her after she handed me some water and drank it. Dimwit, does she have to fvcking announce it when I'm eating?
"And what, Cbiara? You're pregnant? Then congratulations!" I paused when I realized what the meaning of it was. "You're fvcking pregnant?" I blurted out, and she covered my mouth so she couldn't understand what I said next.
"Damn it, lower your voice!" Cbiara Blair widened her eyes at me, but I still couldn't believe what she said, so I pushed on anyway.
"You're fvcking pregnant, and the fvcking father of that child is Raven?!" She just face-palmed at my inquiry while I was still confused.
Like, it damn happened? Did something happen to the two of them? Well, I can deny that the man is charismatic, and so as my friend, I know they will commit a sin, but...to fvcking have children? That's another level. I can't believe that this happened to my friend, who has hated that man since birth.
"Girl!" I shouted at her face, but she aggressively covered my mouth. Pregnant women are so sensitive, and they need to be treated as valuable. "How come you got pregnant again?" I felt bad for her; she just sat on the couch, and her face couldn't be painted.
"I don't even know Hiro; I'm going crazy I don't know why it's come to this." She looked at me and said, "Hiro, help me. What should I do?"
"It's already there, so stand by it."
"Not that. I know, I'll bring them up because I've lost them once, but...what if Raven would find this out?" She held my hand. "Let's keep it a secret, Hiro. Promise me that only you and I will know until I release them."
"Promise."
And I did. When my father made me leave his house after telling him that I was a guy like Raven and Cbiara suggested, I became a slave to Cbiara.
"Move on, Hiro, you lazy bum." She grumbled even though her maid cleaned the things. I'm not going to do anything here but wake up, eat, watch television, and then sleep again. "Hiro!"
"Cbiara, you're just pregnant; that's why you're like that; you can just go for a walk." I will kick her out of her own house if she remains stubborn once again. She groaned, so I squeezed her cheek, but she tapped my hands strongly. "God, you tend to whip."
My eyes rolled multiple times as she complained, "Whatever! You didn't show Raven to me!" She should never have thought about that man, even though I've always advised her not to, but it seems like she's seeking something, and there's nothing more I can do to help her. Not only does she believe the man is dating now, but Cbiara is also trying to avoid him. But her baby can't.
I'm only more perplexed because I can't read his mind and Raven is still here demanding to know what's going on with Cbiara. Luckily, Cbiara was expecting at the time I almost told her about Raven. Because every time she saw Raven's name, it was as if fire were erupting from her ears, and she wasn't unlike a pregnant dragon.
I took care of her despite her thousands of mood swings. I badly want to tell Raven that, but I just always said that the woman is good.
"She's fine, growing, and glowing. As for you, just work hard," I advised him every day we talked.
"Can I come there? I just want to see her," he pleaded, but I immediately declined. What if he sees the children and Cbiara then Cbiara and my friendship will be over?
Why am I doing this when my father knows about my sex already?
"I'll take care of her and update you from time to time; you don't have to worry." I was trying to convince him that they can't meet or that Raven can see Cbiara. I won't let that happen.
Raven calls me infrequently, and the fact that he solely discusses Cbiara is tedious. We don't have a very exciting life here, therefore I don't usually update him. All the time, we just simply chat, watch the kids, finish some chores, and I'll tell him a lie. "She went shopping," I informed him. He was sighing, "I'll put it down; your future wife is enjoying life while I'm suffering here.”
"It's fine, I'm going to pay you monthly; don't complain and just do the chores and update me from time to time." And as a person who looks like money, I grab that opportunity even though I'm not really doing anything in the house. I just love to complain. All of Cbiara's actions that didn't involve the babies I tell him from time to time.
I forbid him to call me because Cbiara could already see me, and she might even think Raven was my lover. Damn, no way! I don't like stealing my best friend's ex-lovers, it's not my thing and that's gross. I have other tastes, and Cbiara’s men are not as handsome as mine.
I took care of the kids until they grew up, and I used to be with them when they were not at home. It's like the world is silent. You were the one I wanted before—no one to mess with, just me and the world—but it changed now. The presence of the kids always warms my heart.
"Come here, Red." He was one year old and five months old. They can walk well and talk, but they still know basic math and the alphabet song.
They are as smart as I am; they are not denied because I am always with them, so they inherited it from me. And their faces? It looks like me, so others think I am the father.
"Who's the father of those kids? They're so cute," I winched when someone commented one time when we were walking to get some fresh air. I quickly pushed them away so I wouldn't run into them.
"Didn't they know that you two inherited my beauty?" I told them, but they suddenly started crying, my lips parted at their reaction. Are they also against me?
When the day comes that I won't take care of you. Kidding! It's a miracle; I feel like I will take care of them as long as I can, even if I am an old man. I quickly get attached to children, especially when they are beautiful fairies.

"Shh, just stay here with me." I told them a few minutes after Mr. Smith and Cbiara left, and the whole room suddenly went dark. "Don't cry, kids, just stick with Uncle Hiro." They didn't speak, and I loaded them. I was going to hide them in the cabinet, but they might hear the noise.
That's why we hid at the table when I heard rustling outside, and it looked like the door knob clicked. We just ducked into the table when the door opened. I held them in my hand with all my power; fortunately, I didn't have to reprimand them. I even held my breath at that time.
"Where are they?"
"I don't know. We can't find them, boss."
"Search every room in this place! If necessary, destroy all the doors; do it; we have to get the children!" The man with a hoarse voice told them. I closed my eyes and prayed.
"They're not really here, boss; maybe they are in another room."
"Let's go." I heard the door close, so I breathed a sigh of relief, but that was the biggest mistake I made in my whole life. "Gotcha!" The kids and I scream, but I'm kicked as the kids are put in the sack.
"No, not the kids."
"Quiet!" The man kicks my stomach again, so I almost lose strength.
Damn, the kids. I tried to look for them in my blurry eyes, but they are already out.
"N-no." I tried to stand, but the leader of them just punched me, so I fell down, and my face was placed on the table. "The baby." Those were my last words before I collapsed.
I lost consciousness; I suddenly lost the right to possess them. I was careless; I couldn't protect them because I couldn't fight; I was weak.
