"You came, Lethia." His eyes were shut, and it seemed that he was just coming from his crying. "Have you made up your mind yet?" I crossed my arms to my chest; everything was going fine according to my calculations of my life.
"Yes, Blair, I want to be a slave, and just don't let them know that I killed your son forever," she said. Even then, I had no idea why my son had vanished in such a sudden I sensed something had happened, and then I recalled who my doctor was. And that's when I realized she was the doctor, and I listened to their whispers before leaving.
If they knew that this girl was the killer of my child, then who would she be in the eyes of the Smiths? The perfect family wants everything to be plain. My fist clenches every time I remember the past, when they made a fool of me.

=Flashback=
"Your baby is gone, hija," my mother repeated as if it weren't the most painful words that I've ever heard. I stood up even though there were still many hoses attached to my body. I needed to do something. No way, I want to know why the child disappeared?! I'm sure my son has a strong attachment, so I don't believe it. I have a strong hunch. "Where are you going, Blair? You're not better yet!" Mommy shouted, but I didn't listen to her anymore and quickly looked for the counter to ask who my doctor was.
I met a lot; my eyes are getting blurry, but I have to be strong; I can't stumble a second time. I needed to find my doctor. I wasn't convinced about my miscarriage because my condition wasn't that bad. I walked and walked until I went to the counter.
"Who's my doctor?" I ask the nurse guarding the counter, and they ask my name. "Cbiara Blair Ashton." My turn was writhing in pain, but I still chose to show that I was fine by wanting to ask about my son.
It was like my kid was giving me strength to do justice to his loss, and I would do that without difficulty.
"Dr. Alvaro."
"You mean Lethia Alvaro?" I asked to make sure my suspicion was correct; he was the only Alvaro doctor in their family.
"Yes, ma'am." My fist was clenched; she had money and everything. That's why she completed two courses, but she was still envious of me. What a wonderful life, right? I also asked where the woman's office was; luckily, she was taking a break—maybe a little break—so I knew she was in the office.
"Thank you." I left and hurriedly walked. I had to catch up with her; I had to know the truth.
I continued to walk because there were many people in the elevator. It was such a high building, but I needed to know the truth. That's why I pushed, even though my whole body was starting to ache. What a nice scene, right? I am being tortured first before knowing the whole truth.
I was out of breath when I reached the 6th floor, bent down, and touched both of my knees. I have to take even a little breath because I might collapse at any moment. I was full of sweat when I arrived, but I didn't care about it because I needed to know something. I adjusted my posture when I recovered, and I took a deep breath before walking again.
As I got closer and closer to the office, my chest pounded more and more. This was the time that we would have a heartfelt talk about how many months it has been since we fought. It was like my heart was being squeezed while walking; it seemed like I was going to commit a big sin.
"Delete all the papers that contain information about Cbiara Blair; they can't know the truth!" I heard someone shout, and that's when I noticed that room 3 was slightly open. "Hurry up, Ana, they might see the evidence!" She growled, so I came over there and peeked at them.
"W-what do I do, doc?" The nurse was stuttering, asking Lethia; she was also restless based on her behavior. I only saw his back, so I didn't know who it was, and he was also confused. I want to let them in, but I need more evidence because they might return the question to me.
"Somewhere that no one will know!" Lethia hissed, "Hurry up." I hid, and he didn't see me because the nurse was worried about what she was doing. I tried to reflect on her face, but I failed until Lethia got out after a couple minutes.
"You shameless Lethia!" I immediately teased him and slapped him, but even he did the same to me. "You are a demon!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, and I could feel my veins popping out.
She didn't say anything and just scolded me; no one dared to leave us, and for reasons unknown to me, we suddenly entered his office. She locked it when we broke up. My eyes were raging on fire, and I couldn't even take it anymore because I wanted to set her on fire.
"What are you doing here?"
"What did you do to my son?!" I ask her back. My chest is heaving, and I want to destroy her whole face. All that he did to me was not enough. "You killed my child, Lethia! What kind of doctor are you?"
"Didn't the lawyer tell you, it's not good to accuse when you don't have one evidence!" She fired back. How could she act innocently like she didn't do anything?
"You're a killer! Aren't you happy that you got Roux and you're going to take my daughter from me too?!" I tried to get near her, but she took a long-needle injection, so I stopped.
"Try to come near me, and I'll inject this into me,” she threatened. My vision turned dark and I was also becoming deaf this time. "Try Cbiara," she mumbled.
"I'm not scared, Lethia; you've taken everything from me, so you think you can still scare me?" I boldly presented that word to her, and I walked towards her while she was backing away.
"We can talk about this, Cbiara." She tried to calm me down, but with what she did to me, I don't know if I can calm down anymore. "You know that's a big sin." I was ready to choke her when I suddenly felt numb.
She grinned as if she had been victorious in the lottery, as I slowly fell to the floor.
End of flashback
My father is the one who accepted the money so we could keep quiet about it. I forced Daddy to return it, but he is addicted to gambling because of what happened to his only child-me and my mother were in the hospital at the time of her illness. Lethia threatened me, so I couldn't do anything during those times but keep my mouth shut.
But now, I can turn the situation around. I'll make sure the last laugh is mine and not hers.
"What do you want me to do?" Lethia asked me. I smirked at her and scrutinized up and down. All the way back then, Lethia was always on top while I was down trying to win her, but look now. The situation is very different from then and now, so I'll make sure that he suffers.
What is the best thing to do to get revenge? I bite my lower lip and smile at her sweetly.
"Do you remember what you did to me back in high school?" I asked him teasingly to make him remember what he did to me. "You made me look for your ring in the swimming pool when you knew back then that I am not good at swimming. Do you remember it?" I cupped my palms. "Now, I want you to look for my earrings behind our house."
"Fine," she replied bluntly. She thought what she was going to do was simple; what she didn't realize was that she wouldn't be looking for anything because what I asked her to seek what was in my palm.
When we went to the back, her stomach twisted upside down from what she saw—poor Princess Lethia. I am the only one who can make her walk in the mud; the person she used to oppress is now oppressing her. The world is truly round.
"Go." I gestured to the vast mud in front of her to look for something that wasn't there. "Start now, Lethia." I saw how she gulped hard and closed her eyes, then removed her shoes.
I know you're cursing me in your head, but I don't care that's not enough for what you did to me. I just recently started, so prepare for my vengeance. Lethia narrowed her eyes and proceeded towards the muddy area with lots of feces from my neighbors' animals. I genuinely meant it since I was looking forward to today. I heard squeals and revulsion from her mouth, but I just chuckled loudly.
What a beautiful scene in my opinion.
This was exactly what I was looking for—a fantastic appetizer!
