Chapter 37 The Scheme (2)

She already expected this so she was not surprised.

Greg ran after her.

"Don't run" Greg shouted and chased after her like a mad man.

She saw Bremo she ran towards Bremo and crushed her body on his she hugged him tightly.

"Who are you?"Greg asked Bremo.

Bremo didn't talk and just kicked Greg, Greg fell down and lied down flatly.

"What happened ?" Bremo glanced at Arci and asked her.

Arci shook her head.

Greg stood up angrily from the floor, "Who are you? How dare you ruin my business?" Greg asked if he couldn't walk very well. He didn't recognize Bremo. If he recognized Bremo, he would have run away the seconds he saw him.

"Get out of my way, I'll let you know the consequences of playing the hero to save her" He threw a punch at Bremo.

Bremo grabbed his hand and twisted it and punched his mouth.

Greg fell down again.

Arci trembled.

Brandon arrived at the same time, He beat Greg senselessly and grabbed him.

He pushed him to the front and walked away with Bremo and Arci walking behind them.

As they were leaving, Two men peeped from the Bushes and stared at them leaving. They are Richard's spies.

"There must be a misunderstanding between us," Greg said as he was led away.

Brandon pushed him into the car for interrogation.

"Go report to the command that Miss Arci is safe" One of them told the other one.

Even if Bremo arrived late, Richard's Guards will save her; he just wanted Bremo to see Dawn's true face.

Bremo led Arci back to the temple once Brandon and Greg left.

They sat down inside the temple beside each other.

"You know what? When I was a kid my mom always told me that after people die they will become stars in the sky. Have my mother and brother become stars watching me from high above?" Arci asked, her eyes distanced.

Bremo gave a nod and stared at her side profile, "I believe they are not only watching you but also keep you company"

"I always think it would be so great if they were still alive then i would be able to stay with them" Arci said sadly.

Bremo put his hand on her shoulder, "Arci you still have me here I'll stay by your side"

"It is Okay. Anyway, over these years I've been used to being alone" Arci replied.

Bremo removed his hand from her shoulder and sighed.

Richard sat down in his office playing with a lighter with his phone in his hand.

'Ringgg'

He quickly picked up.

"Hello?"

"Marshal, there is only one man and Miss Arci is safe"

"There is only one man? Okay I got it. There won't be danger since Bremo has subdued that jerk you guys withdraw" He said and hung up

"A man and woman are in the wilderness" Richard said

"It's none of my business, come on," he said, trying to convince himself.

But he couldn't resist it anymore.

"Richmond, get the car ready" Richard said

"Yes commander," Richmond replied.

Richard stood up from his seat.

They got to the temple within two hours but he couldn't go in because Bremo would be suspicious of him.

So he sat down in his car and just stared at the temple in front longingly.

He took out his telescope and used it to look at the temple to see whether he would catch a glimpse of her.

"Commander" Richmond called out, he continued with waiting for his reply "You can't see them even if you can see farther with the telescope, you still can't see them" Richmond told him.

He put down the telescope awkwardly, he stared at the temple with a frown on his face, "Bremo looks like an upright gentle man but in the Buddhist temple a man and a woman are staying in one room and this…." He sighed and pulled his hair frustratedly.

"Supervisor Bremo is having a good time with Miss Arci. Why are we here enduring cold in the wilderness?" Richmond asked.

Richard didn't reply and took his telescope and used it to look at the temple again.

"Shut up," Richard replied.

"Commander, how about this? If you really want to go, let's get out of the car and go there directly" Richmond suggested.

Richard used the telescope to hit him, "Are you stupid? If we go out we will be exposed" Richard said.

"Fine, just stay here," Richmond replied.

Inside the temple

Arci glanced at Bremo and found him already asleep. She drapped his suit on him to prevent him from catching a cold.

She walked out of the temple after doing that.

She glanced around and stared at the sky.

She noticed a car in front of the temple and walked towards the car.

She bent down to look at the person inside the car.

She smiled when she saw that it was Richard sleeping.

She remembered his vow yesterday and smiled.

She blew a breeze on the carglass.

She wrote 'Good night' on the glass and walked back to the temple.

Richard opened his eyes immediately and she turned her back against him.

"Good night" he whispered back.
