"I would have married your hands if it was possible." Ian moaned and Janet blushed at his compliment as she deliberately served him extra Chicken while Liam scowled and rest of us rolled our eyes. This kid. I gave a sympathetic smile to Liam when he caught my eye and he replied by stuffing his face with food, still jealous of his mom's divided attention. Is it bad that jealous Liam was the cutest form of Liam? I shook my head and followed him as I stuffed my face too. "Don't eat like that, you'll end up looking like a pregnant lady." Asher teased as he tried to balance his chair on two legs. I glared at him. Before I could open my mouth, Kim asked. "What is pregnerd?" "It's pregnant, K." "What is pregnant?" I thought of something that didn't corrupt poor Kim's mind. She is one curious kid and if I answer correctly, she will get all the dirty details by hook or crook. "It means getting fat." "Oh." She frowned and nodded while Alex flicked my forehead and shook his head in mock sternness. Aiden, Asher and Rose laughed while I tried to cover my chuckle up too. A beat of silence passed on the table full of teenagers and I opened my mouth to point it out but again, Kim beat me to it. "Liam?" Liam looked up and focused his attention on Kim instead of Finn. "Yeah?" "I am pregnant." The moment she said this, Asher tumbled back, finally losing the balance on chair. Alex and Ian, who were having the 'who can chug aerated coke fastest without choking', finally choked and spitted all over each other as they were sitting facing one another. Janet dropped the serving bowl on Rose's head and she yelped, Aiden choked on his bite and Liz tried to rub his back while looking at Kim with wide eyes, Felix accidently stabbed his hand with knife instead of food, I looked at Kim in mixture of horrification and amusement as food literally tumbled out of my wide jaw while Liam was a completely different story. His eyes widened and jaw dropped then they narrowed and his left eye started twitching as he shot up from his seat ignoring a confused Finn. His fist banged the table hard causing all the silverware to rattle. "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" Kim flinched and looked like she was about to cry. I opened my mouth but groaned as I realised that today was not my day to speak. Liam marched towards her. Crossing the table, he picked her up in one go and sat her on table as he started poking her stomach with his finger while frowning. She giggled. "Liam, she is 9. She doesn't know what pregnant means." Janet chided but Liam ignored her as he pressed his ear to her tummy. I was torn between rolling my eyes and aweing. Little Finn waddled towards his new brother and sister and frowned before climbing on Kim's previous chair and pressing his small face to her tummy. CUTEST THING EVER! A wave of awe echoed in air and I smiled at the new addition to Williams family. Janet stomped towards her sons and grabbed Liam by ear and Finn by waist as she tugged them away from poor Kim. "Stop bothering your sister!" "But mom-" "No buts. Go, take your friends to the living room and help them clean up." Liam grumbled a 'fine' while I covered my laugh with cough as half of the population followed him to washroom. Today was our last day before we all start college and right now, Janet and Samantha were throwing a celebratory dinner as they adopted 5 year Finn. He instantly became my favourite Williams as he was definition of term 'adorable' with wide green eyes and brown hair. As, Janet and Samantha were still somewhat mad on Liam for lying about Kovorelle trip, they made him invite all of us for dinner too. Dad was currently explaining his next business project to Samantha and he was so concentrated that he didn't even notice the messed up teen parade as we passed by him. I rolled my eyes at that. As the rest got cleaned up, I made myself comfortable on living room couch after helping Janet in clearing the table. My eyes wandered around, taking every detail of the house I began calling home is last few months. As my gaze fell on Ian, I couldn't help but awe. He was insanely good with kids, that is, a little better than all of us. He knew how to handle them as right now, Kim was hanging on his back while Finn was clutching his waist like a monkey. He spun slowly and both kids giggled. "He is good with them isn't he?" I looked up and smiled at Liam who was looking at his siblings with a happy smile. "He is." "I am so happy about Finn." He sighed and took a seat next to me. I nodded in agreement. "Me too. He will be very happy here." Silence settled between us until a question popped in my head. I gingerly cocked my head towards his direction. He was still looking at his siblings with smile. "Were you adopted too?" I bit my lip to stop myself from taking the question back as Liam froze and his smile slipped turning into a blank face. He cocked his head to the side and our eyes met. I instantly regretted my question as I could clearly see how a series of bad memories were starting to unravel in those black orbs. He studied my face for a moment and then shook his head before looking away. "Mama J's NGO rescued me. I was rescued, Astrid. I was... I-I was rescued out o-of a-" I froze as my brain failed to comprehend the new detail. Suddenly, I was seeing Liam in a new light. I didn't know what he was rescued from but all I knew was that my respect for him doubled.
