96. The Tease!
Arabella's POV

Few months ago this life was just a dream. I was surrounded by hollow darkness and chaotic silence. Life was like a stormy night which has calmed down now and warm sunshine day has rose. I am feeling free and light.

I am smiling now, laughing doesn't feel fake. My heart feels like blooming whenever I laugh, maybe that's how real laugh feels like. Till now everything was acting. I no longer have to hold back my emotions, I don't have to hide my tears and pain. I am free to express anything I feel. People here don't judge me for that.

It feels so relaxing to sit with a family while having a good chat and coffee. Well, I am not allowed to drink coffee so I am now befriending juices. Arthur and Oliver are sitting beside me, occasionally teasing me and their hands finding tickling corners of my body. Especially Oliver, he is too naughty.

Rose was telling us one of her old story. Yes, I call her Rose now because she is not my ma'am anymore and she doesn't want me to call her Mom because I hate my Mom, she is so mature whenever it comes to emotions. I feel lucky to have her around me.

"And then I found out that Olivia is not Damian's side chick, she was actually a lesbian."
She laughed.

"And she used to hit on you."
Isabella laughed.
"Oh my god, she was on her knees for Rose."
Isabella was sitting beside Rose, to be honest they both are so alike that it sometimes becomes difficult to recognize them if we don't look at them closely, especially when she wears Rose's clothes like she is wearing right now. She came here to visit her sister and Rose asked her to stay back. I know their story and yet their is no jealousy visible between them now.
"You should have seen Damian's face. He was so jealous of Olivia"

"I can imagine."
I laughed back.
"He gets jealous even if she talks to someone sweetly. Having said that, where is he?... I haven't seen him since afternoon."
Weather is good today, evening is pleasing. Everyone is here but he is missing.

I looked at Arthur because he is always aware of where his father is but he just cleared his throat, well that tells something is off.

Ohh! Shit. I forgot that Rancho is still alive in the basement.
He entered the main door exactly when we were talking about him. Messy hair, folded sleeves, watch and other accessories were missing and his face was lethal. Did I mention that he was drenched in blood!?

Everyone fell silent when he came closer with his angry steps, it was like everyone was scared of his anger. No one dared to talk except her.
"Damian, freshen up and come down for a coffee."

His anger disappeared from his face as soon as she ordered him.
"Yes, Ma'am."

Everyone smiled at their bond. I smiled at Arthur and Oliver. I also want our bond to be like this, no matter in what state of mind we are, one word from the partner should heal us. It's so nice to have this feeling.

"Why are you smiling, little dove?"
Arthur teased me.

I grinned like a child.
"Nothing, I was just imagining how I am going to boss you around... It's going to be so fun!"

He chuckled.
"As if you don't do it now."

"Hey, love birds!"
Julie grabbed our attention.
"We need to do shopping for your wedding... Rings, dress and so many things! We don't have time."

"What shopping, we already have rings... Any white dress would do and what else?"
I shrugged.

Julie looked at me in disbelief.
"You must be the most careless bride I have seen till now... Ma'am, are you watching this?"
She complained to Rose.

"You are complaining to the person who is just like Arabella... They don't care about these things, I had to do shopping for her on our wedding."
He chuckled as he came down after freshening up and sat beside his wife.

Rose gave him mocking smile.
"As if I knew that I am getting married, husband... I was kidnapped to get married with you. Remember?"

"Oh my goodness! What? Really? Dad?"
I gasped at Dad.

He smiled awkwardly and scratched his head. He looks cute doing that.
"I knew she loves me, I didn't marry her against her will..."
He complained.

"Wow! perks of working in mafia is, you never get over of these interesting stories."
Julie was amused.

"And she didn't do anything to you when you forced her to marry you?"
I asked curiously.

"What would you do if these two do that with you?"
Dad asked amused.

I looked at Arthur and Oliver, they were also curious to know my answer.
"I would kick their asses even if I love them."
I replied and they chuckled.

"Well, that's what happened with me too..."
Dad chuckled and everyone burst out laughing.

"I can't imagine..."
Julie giggled but stopped when Noah entered.

"What's happening, people?"
He asked and sat down beside Julie making her stiff.

I smiled seeing that there is someone who makes Julie shut up.
"By the way, Julie... When are you getting married? Any plans, boyfriend?"
I teased her.

Noah looked at Julie for answer. His eyes were predatory and hand was resting behind Julie's armrest of couch.

Julie cleared her throat and shook her head.
"I don't have any boyfriend, I am single... And I don't like that thing."
Noah's eyes turned hard when she said that.

"Are you sure?"
Oliver chuckled and teased her.

"Yes, Sir! Let's not talk about me..."
She was panicking a bit.
"Arabella, we need to get a good dress for you... Let's decide how do you want it."

"I have asked the designer to bring all dresses here... You don't have to travel, stay inside and relax."
Oliver informed and kissed my head. It has become our thing.

"You are so thoughtful... Thank you!"
I smiled cutely at him. I feel like a child when they are around me.

"Julie! I want you to go and test some cake samples... You have good taste, bring few samples you like then we can decide the final one."
Arthur ordered.

"Okay!"
She shifted away from Noah.

"Take Noah with you."
He said and her face drained.

"No need to bother him... I'll manage!"
She gulped.

"Did I say it's going to bother me?"
Noah asked and she just stared at him like deer caught in headlights.
"Let's go!"

"Uhh?"
She looked at me for help.

"Yeah, go now or else you will get late for dinner."
I replied and Julie gave me death stare.

She had to stand and walk out with Noah. Everyone laughed when they walked out.

"Damn, they are so chaotic together!"
I laughed.
"But love story is on track, hope they come back in one piece."
