They had a little lovemaking session with him trying not to be so harsh on her since she was expecting and was already very heavy though she was a horny mess and dripping wet and would not let him rest, he just kept being amazed at her energy although the Doctor had told her to be careful with the activities she carried out plus he had said sex was okay her mate had to be careful when he thrust into her so he did not cause any damage.

Keegan gave him his suit for the event. They had a luncheon at the company.

Cruise kissed her and appreciated the gesture for he had already forgotten they had to meet his investors that evening for the newest member of the family.

Keegan did not know that he intended to propose because they had planned to take things slow seems Cruise was not taking anything slow as he planned to make her his wife.

The contract he had been working on for months finally paid off.

Keegan had succeeded in deviating his mind and thoughts from almost everyone happy to know that she had that much influence on him now and he could do nothing, he was also waiting on the Doctor's information on what they could do for his mate and for her father to be well or at least on his feet again so they could find a way to celebrate properly.

Keegan was excited to know she had that effect on him, she kissed him more like trying to tell him everything he could not verbally air out and he reciprocated because he kissed her so deep and long telling her she was his and that was not going to change anytime soon.

He had kept his promise about marrying her and here they were waiting for their first baby, there was something about her from the first day he met her in the cafeteria and today they were about to celebrate their love and turmoil and how beautiful it was to get married to the love of your life.

To his long-awaited sweetheart the one who bruised his lip because he had annoyed her, she was feisty he smiled when he had this memory of her because if all it was worth he didn't know why he had annoyed her that day by refusing to work with her when at the end of the day they were the best pair to be together forever.

At the dinner, Keegan felt like she was not welcome but his investor's wife told her to feel comfortable and everyone embraced her making her feel loved and that was all that mattered.

Suddenly Cruise went down on one knee and Keegan turned and saw a ring she began to shake as she became emotional making her cry all through the proposal because she knew that they were just fucking.

"Will you marry me Keegan, my woman, the one who makes me extremely happy whenever and however it is?" she said.

"I knew we were not going to have this and geez Cruise this is your investor's house?" she cried even more.

"Well we all are in on this, so would you marry me?" he asked even more.

"Yes I would," she said and went down on her knees to hug him.

She accepted and yet again a wedding to plan for.

Keegan and Crusie didn't want all the cliche wedding preparation of inviting people here and there and making a fuss out of nothing.

As he said, the wedding concerned just him and his wife and family so they were not going to include any other person they needed a city mayor to sign their marriage and a priest to bless their marriage on the low key and also just a small Decorated hall with family and close friends whom they trusted and wanted around.

It was amazing to have this dream come true they didn't want to fly out of the country for a honeymoon rather they preferred to go on a farm ranch and made arrangements to be there for a few days before they returned to their lives.

Well, Lucas was the owner of the Farm which had as a side hustle but for some reason he had never made anyone know he loved horses even up to the extent of having them on a ranch, the ranch was occupied by an old couple whom he paid to look after the ranch while he was away and could not be available to take care of the horses and tend to their needs because of the company and pack duties.

The experience was lovely and they intended to have more babies in the years to come after their first pup would be born.

They wanted to enjoy their lives as mature couples first before bringing in many mini babies of themselves into the world.

"What are the other plans that these two want to achieve at the mating ceremony," he asked.

"Well, I would like to see her illuminate with light because she is the reason why Cruise has finally decided to come back to the pack and also to be responsible for his post so she should be treated right," the other said.

"Okay, I would make sure the others would not pressure the young woman, she has gone through a lot already hence she needs just the required things," the other man said.

"That is noted Master we would make sure that would be done and she would be given all the protection she needs".

" Great so this meeting is hereby done".

Lucas' POV

When I got to the garden, I saw him there and she was alone.

She hadn't even noticed me yet, I stood there watching her secretly.

In a few weeks from now, her best friend would be married to our Alpha and their lives would change forever.

"Lucas!"

I heard her call my name, she sounded so calm and beautiful, I stopped, I didn't want her to see me, but now he had seen me.

I always preferred come to stand afar and watch her as she moved around.

She was a beautiful woman, my woman.

The last time I had been this fascinated about a woman she had betrayed me, the reason why I was scared of losing or trusting her but she had shown she was different. Just from the times, we spent together and the way she talked she was an intelligent woman.

I noticed she wasn't looking too good.

She looked disturbed.

"Yes Shannon, how are you, I came to check ok someone then I remembered you work around here so I decided it was time to see your pretty face," I said to her.

"What seems to be the problem?" I asked her as I saw her not looking too good.

She wiped her eyes, and turned around, forcing a fake smile on her face.

"I know you are not fine so don't tell me that shit about being fine at all" I beckoned because I knew the next thing she was going to tell me was that she was fine.

"My boss tried to assault me and her. I refused his advances he became angry and went on to tell me I was fired" She said sobbing.

"I am not crying any more" she explained.

"And..." she began to say.

"Your eyes!? How long have you been crying!" I asked as I touched her face.

I moved back quickly, not wanting to feel her hand on my face.

If only she knew what her mere touch did to me.

Suddenly my pain turned into anger, I got so angry that I spilt it all out I traced it to the manager and gave him a few punches and he was shivering.

"Who are you?" He asked trying to fight back as she also tried her best to stop me from hitting the man but he sure deserved to be beaten how could he hurt a woman and not just any woman, my woman?

"Apologise to her," I said holding his head up.

"I can't apologise to a mere worker," he said in anger.

"Well, you would," she said.

"Who would?" he asked.

"You of course, who else?" I answered.

"Lucas please stop" Shannon begged.

"You are extremely lucky she had to beg me for your life, else I would have your head," I said and then went on to the spot where Shannon stood and all the other employees were looking at me pretty intently as they were scared of me as I dragged Shannon with me I had come to ogle at her beauty but now I was happy at the fact that I can make her happy by standing up for her and making her feel that justice was needed for women and,

"Shannon? You would not be working there anymore" I said.

"Then where do I work if I don't have to work here?" she asked.

"With me!" I responded leaving her dumbfounded.
