82. Fucked Up Day!

Veronica's POV

I looked at Grace who is unconscious for a week now. I don't know what happened and how did Vlad managed to bring her back but Raajnandini is gone and Grace is here.

I signed and walked out were Vlad and everyone was celebrating.

"This is a big slap on them... I am sure that bastard won't survive that blow."

Michelle said.

He is talking about Dominick, I heard they blew up his car again.

"Isn't Michelle a girl's name? "

I asked and Vlad laughed.

"It's unisex! "

He scowled.

"And preferably my parents wanted a girl but I happened so they still named me Michelle. "

"How is she? "

Vlad came closer and tucked free strand behind my ear.

"Still unconscious but stable. "

I signed.

"I need to go to the hospital for some work..."

"Okay, take care... "

He kissed my forehead.

He let me go but with his bodyguards. I miss those free days where I could roam around without fear of getting attacked.

I went to the hospital and everyone gritted with huge smile. I love these people and they love me. I hope I'll turn out to be best decision for MD.

I thought it was Vlad, I don't like nepotism and I would be pissed if Vlad uses his power to make me MD.

"I am glad that you are where you deserve to be but I miss you as my doctor. "

Mrs. Green said. She got admitted two months ago due to paralysis.

"I miss you too... "

I smiled.

I turned around to look at Josh.

"Hello, Dr. Josh... "

I smiled. He has joined as a doctor now. To be honest he was the smartest intern I got.

"Good to see you back. "

He smiled charmingly.

"I need to discuss some things with you about internal management. "

"Let's go in my office. "

I bid my goodbye to Mrs. Green and we headed to my office.

"Yes, tell me..."

He told me about some things where we could improve and I greatly appreciate his suggestions.

"We miss you in the hospital. "

He said.

"You used to stay here day and night what happened? "

"We all have a life outside this hospital and I am paying attention to both sides."

I chuckled.

"Do you think I am ignoring my duties? "

"Absolutely not"

He stepped forward.

"You are too good in your job... "

I frowned when he touched my arm. What is he doing? "

"You are the best and I love it. "

He leaned forward.

I pushed him back.

"Josh, this is not expected from you. I am a married woman and fuck that, do you know the concept of consent. "

He snapped and I looked at him in disbelief.

"He doesn't deserve you and I don't understand why a woman like you is with that fucked up man. He is a criminal. "

"Who the hell are you to judge our relationship. "

I gritted.

"Yeah right, of course you want him because that's what woman do... He is giving you everything, money, luxury, power and position of MD. "

He said and I looked at him confused.

"What did you say? "

I asked confused.

"Ohh, come on. Don't act like you don't know that you are MD because Vlad wanted you to be. He is 70% partner of this hospital and he influences every decision."

He said and my heart broke.

Vlad lied again. Why do you have to do it every time, Vlad?

I ignored Josh calling me and rushed out. He knows that I don't like it when someone plays with my career still he did this.

"Anything wrong Mrs. Volkov? "

My bodyguard asked.

I leaned against the car.

"Can you get me a coffee?.. "

He said and I nodded.

I messaged Mila that I need to talk to her. I have to take out my frustration in front of someone otherwise I'll go mad.

I placed my phone in my back pocket and turned around to open the car door. I gasped when someone crossed me with the bicycle with speed.

What's wrong with people now a days.

I sat inside and he handed me coffee.

I am going to beat his ass in pulp, fucking mafia king. God saves him from me now.

We went home and I got out of the car. I looked for my phone in my pocket but couldn't find it.

"My phone? "

I looked inside the car but it's not even their and I panicked.

"When did you last used it? "

He asked.

"When I was sitting inside the car. Oh my god! That bicycle person, they stole my phone. "

I gasped.

"Did you see the face? "

He asked and I shook my head.

"No, it was masked and they were wearing helmet. "

I said.

"Don't worry, we will find them. Let's go inside... "

He tried calling me but it's switch off so it's obvious that someone has stolen it.

Fuck my day.

First that stupid man tried to touch me and then I got to know that my husband loves to lie to me and piss me off.

How dare he do that?

And now my phone is stolen, it has my all information what if they misuse it.

This is so fucking annoying.

On top of that, this poor man will listen from Vlad for not paying attention to me. I am more worried about him. It's not his fault that my phone got stolen.

I loved that phone, I hope they find it.
