"He kidnapped her under my nose..."

Vlad growled.

"Where is her useless fucking bodyguard... "

"He is on the run... We are trying to find him... "

Michelle answered.

"This is really a shameful thing for us, Michelle... I want my sister back, even if I have to burn down their whole country... "

"We will bring her back... "

He assured.

"She is safe there... I got the news... "

"I don't care if she is safe there... I don't want her to stay between those people. "

He gritted and walked out.

Vera looked him when he entered the room. He was angry.

She sat beside him when he took off his jacket and sat on the bed.

"I am sorry.. "

She mumbled.

"Why are you saying sorry?... It's not your fault..."

He sighed and placed his face in her neck.

"I hope she is fine... "

"She will be fine... New Grace is a tigress not bunny... "

She said and he chuckled.

"I have to bring her back. "

He sighed.

"You will and I am sure she will be safe there... She is their family too. "

Vera said and he shook his head.

"I don't know about now... She was their family before she was my sister. Now they know that she is my sister, I don't know how they will treat her..."

He said worried.

He got alert when his phone rang and he saw Alexander's number on the screen.

"You motherfucker! "

He growled.

"You fucking motherfucker, how dare you... "

Alexander growled angrily.

"I knew that you have a dirty blood but never thought you could step so low... You fucking used that poor girl against us."

"She is my sister, you bastard."

Vlad gritted.

"Everyone knows who is the bastard."

Alex spat.

"Grace is the innocent one among us, Volkov and you played with her... What did you do to her that she can't even recognize herself?... We were mourning here because of her death, my brother almost lost his life... And I will never forgive you for that... "

"Your brother will loose his life for sure, don't doubt on that... You really think I'll spare him for whatever he did to my sister... Grace is Russian blood and she belongs here. "

Vlad challenged.

"This is thast warning to you... Give her back or else be ready for the war. "

"Bring it on... "

Alex challenged.

"She is my sister before she became yours and I won't give her back in your dirty hands... You want to start the war, let's do it. But note one thing, Volkov that Grace is our family, Queen of Italian mafia and you aren't seeing her face again..."

With that he disconnected the call.

"Fuck! "

Vera flinched when he threw his phone across the room.

"I am sorry, did I scare you? "

"It's fine.. "

She sighed when he pulled her in gentle hug.

"Are you okay? "

She asked while hugging him back.

"At least they won't hurt her..."

He sighed.

"It will buy me some time to plan... "

"Vlad, If she regains her memory then she will turn against you... "

Vera said and his eyes snapped towards her.

"You tried to kill her husband. "

"Is there any chance that she could regain her memories? "

He asked.

"It's difficult but not impossible... But if they forced her to remember then it can affect her health."

She replied.

Vlad rubbed his face frustrated.

"Don't worry I'll bring her back before that. "

Vera sighed when he walked out. She grabbed her phone and gulped.

She dialled the number and sucked in deep breath.

"Hello? "

"How dare you call me!? "

Alexander growled.

"I need to talk to your mother... "

Vera said.

"And why do you think I'll let her talk to my mother? "

He snapped.

"I called because of Grace, Alexander... There are some things I need to tell your mother about her health... "

Vera requested.

"If you care for Grace then you will do it... "

"Tell me what is it"

He replied.

"I don't trust you. "

She replied.

"Neither do I... "

He replied back.

"Alex! "

She warned.

"Yes, Doctor? "

He mocked.

Anamika snatched the phone for Alex and put it on speaker.

"I should have kill you... "

Anamika said fuming in anger.

"You people were evil and always will be... If I find out that you have done anything with Grace then...."

"She is our family too and we all know that both sides loves Grace equally... I couldn't stop whatever happened and neither I can stop whatever is going to happen... "

Vera replied.

"I just don't want Grace to get hurt in all of this... As her doctor, I need to inform you about certain things... "

"We have better doctors here, we don't need you. "

She gritted.

"Grace's condition is worse than Dominick's and you should think twice before experimenting on her health... "

Vera warned and they frowned.

"She almost died in that accident, only I know how I have saved her... She has lost the lifetime memory and it's hard for her to regain it... She is still recovering from her brain surgery so please, I request you not to force her remember anything by force... It will hurt her... "

"I know how to take care of my child... "

Anamika replied.

"Then why did you let Dominick do that to her? "

Vera questioned and Alex grabbed the phone.

"Imagine yourself in shoe of Vlad, I am sure you would have done the same thing which he did... Am I wrong Alex?... What if Raajnandini____"

"Dominick didn't do anything to her.. "

He spat.

"If you stupid people love to assume then go ahead... Grace is our family and we know how to take care of her. "

Vera sighed when he disconnected the call.

She doesn't want Grace to get hurt between the rivalry of two families, her health is already at stake.

She is also worried that if she gets her memory back and starts hating Vlad then it will break Vlad. He loves her so much and whatever he did was to protect her.

Maybe his way was wrong but he is still a brother.
