"Don't ask questions, just follow me tonight," Zachary said as he parked the car in front of the nightclub.
The two of them walked inside, where the music was blasting and the lights were flashing non-stop. The dance floor was already packed with people...
All of this made Dennis uncomfortable.
"Dennis, grab a seat. I gotta hit the restroom," Zachary said, patting Dennis on the shoulder before heading off.
Suddenly, a girl dressed provocatively approached. "Hey handsome, are you alone? Wanna join us?"
Dennis frowned slightly and shook his head. "No, thanks."
The girl persisted. "Come on, you're so handsome. Have a drink with me."
She handed him a drink, but Dennis blocked it with his hand. "I don't drink."
"Ugh, stop pretending to be a saint. Everyone here is looking for fun."
With that, she glared at him and walked away.
Dennis shook his head helplessly.
Just then, Zachary returned and saw Dennis sitting alone. He put an arm around Dennis's shoulder and said mysteriously, "Dennis, come on, let's do something exciting."
Exciting?
Dennis was confused. Seeing Zachary's excited expression, he had a bad feeling but couldn't refuse. He let Zachary drag him to a VIP room on the second floor.
Dennis pushed open the door and was stunned by what he saw. Seven or eight scantily clad girls, heavily made up, all in their early twenties, stared at them.
"Hey handsome, come sit with us!" one of the girls said sweetly as she walked over.
Dennis realized he had been tricked. He turned to leave but found the door locked from the outside.
"Dennis, be careful!" Zachary's voice had a mischievous tone.
"Zachary, open this door!" Dennis shouted, but no matter how hard he tried, the door wouldn't budge.
The girls swarmed him, pulling at him. He tried to shake them off but couldn't.
Dennis grabbed one girl's wrist forcefully.
The girl stumbled and almost fell.
She screamed in terror.
The other girls hesitated, intimidated by the cold aura Dennis exuded.
Dennis walked to the window, and in a flash, he was out, breaking through the glass.
In the night, his figure disappeared quickly.
Zachary looked up at the second-floor window from the lobby.
He saw a shadow flash by, but by the time he reacted, it was gone.
"What the hell?" Zachary frowned.
"Dennis, stop right there," Zachary said angrily. "I spent a hundred grand, and you just ruined it?"
Dennis stopped and turned to face Zachary's indignant expression, his own face calm. "Zachary, don't pull stunts like this again."
"I'm doing this for you. Do you know who that girl was..."
"Enough."
Dennis cut him off.
They left the nightclub and headed to the parking lot.
"Keep an eye on him. Don't bring him here again," Dennis said coldly to Zachary's bodyguard.
Zachary got into the car, and with the roar of the engine, he disappeared into the night.
Dennis stood there, looking into the darkness, shaking his head before turning to head back to the hotel.
Just then, a black luxury car pulled up in front of him.
He opened the door and got in.
As soon as the door closed, a heavily made-up girl suddenly rushed in, clinging to his leg.
"Help me, someone's trying to kill me!" she cried, her voice trembling with fear.
Dennis was startled. He looked down to see her tear-streaked face, her makeup ruined by her tears.
The bodyguard moved to pull her out, but she clung to Dennis's neck like a lifeline.
Dennis struggled to breathe, the scent of her perfume making him dizzy.
After a moment, the girl, realizing the danger had passed, let go.
Dennis caught his breath and shouted, "Get out!"
The girl, frightened, quickly let go.
The bodyguard grabbed her and pulled her out of the car.
The car started, and she chased after it but couldn't keep up.
She stood there, watching the car disappear into the distance, her expression complex, her lips trembling.
At that moment, a group of men approached. One of them said, "You need to go back. Your credit card has been frozen, and someone is waiting for you."
The girl froze, then remembered her situation.
She sighed. "Alright."
Back at the hotel, Dennis realized the gem on his necklace was missing. He thought of the girl in the car and her frantic behavior.
His brow furrowed, convinced she was the thief.

"Useless idiots!"

They knew Dennis was truly angry this time.

Dennis roared, slamming his fist on the table. "Turn the whole city upside down if you have to, but find her!"
