Chapter 16 Chapter 16
Eirian
The beast roared under my skin, and this close to a full moon it was almost impossible to push him back down but somehow I managed it.
Sloanes terrified face helped. She was backing up quickly, her hands outstretched like that would save her but in a way it did.
She was our last chance and I couldn’t let the beast out so he could hurt her. Even Ty had locked himself away because he knew he couldn’t be trusted. But me?
I’d thought I could handle it. Maybe just spend some time talking to her and then I had seen her on her knees like a servant and my rage had been all consuming.
Even now, I wanted to hurt someone.
Hurt or-
My eyes narrowed as I watched her. “You have not changed.” I said in a completely flat emotionless voice.
“I have no -“ Sloane squeaked as her back hit the windowsill.
“There are plenty of dresses here.” Wrinkling my nose I stalked towards her. She had no where else to go unless she somehow managed to pry open the window and jump to her death.
And she was tempted to, I watched as she glanced behind her. Her brow furrowing, as she weighed up her options.
“There is no escape that way.”
Her head snapped back around to me, her eyes widening.
Coming to a stop right in front of her , I trapped her against the cold glass, my arms either side of her head.
“There is only death that way.” I whispered.
Goddess she smelt good, like sunshine of forest flowers, even the stench and dirt that coated her body couldn’t take away from it.
It made me want to lick her clean, use my tongue until her skin shone with my saliva and her body was trembling for me.
She was trembling now but in a different way.
“Death can be an escape as well.” She whispered and at first I wasn’t sure I had heard her right.
“What did you say?”
“Death is-“
I smashed my hands against the glass which rattled. “No,” anger lowered my voice to a growl. “No, I won’t let you do that. I won’t let you even think about it.”
Her lips trembled, the bottom one quivering and I had to suck in a breath. “Forgive me.” Raggedly I sucked in a breath. Pulling my fingers through my hair so it stood on end. Straightening, I looked out the high windows. Darkness had fallen early as it always did this time of year. Soon the snow would fall and the long nights would begin.
But first we had to get through the Full moon and that’s what was making me so irrational.
“I’m not quite myself this evening.” Half turning from her inside eyed her. Half expecting her to relax. I was apologising after all but she remained pressed against the cold glass. Her eyes wide in her white face.
“Sloane-“ I tried to say her name and failed. Sighing loudly I straightened my shoulders. “I have to punish you, you understand that right. It is our way.”
Slowly she lifted her chin to me, there was fear in her eyes but defiance as well. “I understand. I will take Graces punishment.”
I did a double take. Who was Grace.
Catching my look she frowned. “That is the maids name.”
She sounded disgusted that I didn’t know but it wasn’t my place to know every omegas name. It was their place to serve me.
It was their duty to serve me, just like it was her duty to save me, and my brother.
“It’s so wrong that you don’t know it.” She shook her head in disgust.
“My customs and cultures are foreign to you Sloane but that doesn’t make the wrong, just different. In time you will learn-“
“Did the others learn?” She asked.
My eyes flashed. Glancing around the room it was like I saw it for the first time. All the others things were here. Nothing had been moved or hidden. It was all there for her to see and wonder about.
No wonder she was angry and afraid.
“Some of them.” I whispered. “But you don’t need to worry about them. It will be different with you.”
“How so?”
I took a step towards her, this time she didn’t move.
“Because- “ I reached for her , sliding my fingers down her cheek to tangle into the knots of her hair. “Because you are meant to be for both of us and not just one. You’re the key to the curse breaking.”
“What even is this curse? You keep talking about it but no one will tell me-“
I cut her off with a growl. “Take your clothes off.” Glancing out the window I watched as the moon lifted its head over the mountain peaks. It wasn’t full yet but it would be soon. I needed to get this over with before the moon became the only light in the sky.
Her lashes fluttered and she reeled back in shock.. “What?”
Slowly I stepped backwards. “Please undress now.”
Sloane went deathly pale, her arms clasped around her breasts and she shook her head wildly. “No, i can’t do that. That is not allowed. You said I would be beaten-“
Cocking my head to the side I smiled. “I said punished not beaten Sloane. You must learn to listen better. Now undress.”
“Would you have raped Grace-“
Laughing I lunged at her, grabbing her by the wrist and twisting her into my body with one smooth movement. Holding her tightly I went and sat on the very edge of the bed. Pulling her over my knees and holding her there.
She weighed nothing at all, like a feather.
“Who said anything about Rape, little rabbit? Grace would have been punished neither this way or by beating. But I can’t do to you what I was going to do to her, so.” Keeping one hand between her shoulder blades , I dragged her long tattered skirts up with other. Until her barely covered round ass was on full display under her thin underwear.
My eyes bulged and against my buttons I could feel my cock growing hard.
Her ass was perfect, round and plump. I just hadn’t noticed before because there had been so many other things happening.
It would ripple when I fucked her. I realised and bit back a groan.
“I will have to do this.” I brought my hand down hard, in a stinging slap and Sloane screamed.
