41. On Roman's territory part 7

The sun beamed through the dark curtains.

Kathy stirred in her sleep. She felt a weight over her torso and as she looked down, she saw an arm wrapped around her. Her heart beats quickened nervously. For Vincenzo was holding her. His head rested on her shoulder and he calmy slept besides her. Kathy ever so slowly turned around in his hold. She looked at Vincenzo sleeping face and blushed.

He looked like a beautiful Adonis. Noticing her stir in her sleep, Vincenzo soon opened his deep green eyes. Kathy averted her gaze down to his hand and he immdiatly retracted it away from catching heat on his cheeks himself.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take the pillow from between us last night. My wolf must have done so." He sighed sitting up. Kathy slowly sat up with her heart beats nervously fluttering away.

"I-It's ok. I didn't mind. You really weren't a wolf in bed." She addmitted making him chuckle.

"Well, you really shouldn't have said that." Vincenzo then pulled her on his lap and tickled her up.

"No! S-stop! ahahaha." She giggled trying to get hold of his wrists.

Vincenzo enjoyed sleeping with her last night that he wrestled her down back in the bed and held her close.

"V-Vincenzo?"

"Tesoro, it's too early to get up, sleep besides me some more?"

"Umm..."

"Or do you mind?" Vincenzo asked looking at her deeply, carresing her cheek. He darted his eyes to her lips and licked his bottom lip temptingly. It was driving him so mad that he had to treat her as a guest. He wasn't the type to fall for girls so quickly, but this girl was growing on him and his inner beast, who felt extreamly protective about her.

"I...Ummm...I..."

A knock came on the door and Kathy gasped out darting her attention towards the door. Vincenzo sighed out annoyed that his time with his precious girl was intterupted.

"I'll go see who that is." He gave her a quick peck on her forehead and slipped off the bed from her. Kathy watched as he walked over to the door with only his boxers on. Vincenzo opened the door and a beta guard greeted him.

"Buongiorno Vincenzo." [Goodmorning Vincenzo]

The guard then saw Kathy on his bed. Getting nervous with his watchful eye on her Kathy quickly shuffled upon the bed and covered herself with Vincenzo's blanket.

Vincenzo blocked his view making his beta friend keep his eyes strictly on him.

"Cosa vuoi Hector?" [What do you want Hector?]

"Mi stavo solo assicurando che l'agnello non scappasse." [Just making sure the little lamb didn't run away.]

Vincenzo then glanced back towards her shooting her a pleasant smile. Kathy gave him a short smile back and then he returned his attention back to his friend.

"Si è comportata al meglio e non scapperà." [She's been on her best behaviour and she won't run.]

"Bene. Tienila d'occhio, la sua missione inizierà stasera alle 20:00." [Good. Keep an eye on her, her mission will start at 8pm tonight.]

"Qual è la sua missione?" [What's her mission?]

"Il capo non l'ha ancora rivelato a nessuno di noi. Ma ha detto che sarà libera di tornare a casa una volta completato il lavoro." [The boss hasn't disclosed that to any of us yet. But he did mention that she'll be free to go home once she completes it.]

"That's good to know, thankyou Hector."

Hector nodded and then went on his way.

Vincenzo then closed the door and returned back to his beloved.

"What did he say?"

"Hmmm, if you kiss me here i'll tell you all about it?"

"Oh no. Not that again."

"Kidding tesoro. He said that you'll be doing your mission which will commence at 8pm tonight."

"What mission?"

"I'm not sure tesoro."

Kathy's eyes suddenly watered, thinking the worst. Vincenzo immdiately pulled her on his lap and cupped her worried face in his palms. What had got her so troubled? He hugged her and Kathy hugged him back, sobbing over his shoulder.

"Hey, whats wrong? Why are you crying sweetness."

"Vincenzo I'm scared. What if Alpha Roman asks me to sleep with him?"

The beta wolf couldn't help but laugh, surprising Kathy.

"It's not funny." She stressed getting out of his hold. She paced the room back and fourth as Vincenzo sighed and sat on the edge of the bed, watching her freak out. F^ck she looked so cute to him.

"I mean he ordered Matteo to kidnap me. Why would he do that? Does he like me or something, because if he does then I'm going to run Vincenzo."

Vincenzo stood up then caught hold of her hand.

"First of all, you need to stop freaking out. Alpha Roman has selected you for other purposes. If he liked you like that tesoro, he would never allow me to sleep with you in my room yesterday."

Kathy calmed down her troubled heart beats.

"W-what other purposes would he be keeping me here for?"

"I don't know he was supposed to text me but he seems to have forgotten. Look, on the bright side whatever this mission is, Hector also told me that once you complete it, you'll be able to go home." Vincenzo then brought her hands up to his mouth and placed a sweet kiss upon them. In reality he didn't want her to go but at the same time, he knew it would be wrong for him to keep her for himself.

"I get to go home tonight?" Kathy smiled and hugged Vincenzo out of sudden happiness. Vincenzo chuckled and embraced her in his hold, enjoying her sweet scent that he so loved.

He gently pulled her away and tucked a hair pieace behind her ear.

"Yes, now I'm going to go and have my shower then fetch you your clothes. The door is unlocked but I advise you not to venture out of my room."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want other bad wolves getting their hands on you." He kissed her forehead and went towards the bathroom shutting it behind him. Vincenzo sighed and placed his hand over his heart. Kathy had no idea, how fast she made his heart race.
