Cruel Games At BlackThorn Academy

The day I walked into SilverRidge Academy, everyone was staring. At first I thought it was because I was the new girl. New school, new halls, new people whispering behind lockers. I told myself it was normal. Transfers always draw attention. What I didn’t know was that two of the most powerful boys in school were already watching me. Talon Blackwell and Nico Thompson Heirs. Untouchable. The kind of guys who treat SilverRidge like it belongs to them and to them, I wasn’t a new student. I was a bet. Two months, that’s how long they gave themselves to see who could win me first. They watched my every move. The classes I took. The friends I made. The tutoring sessions after school. Every laugh, every conversation, every moment like I was some kind of challenge to conquer .To them, it was just another game, something to laugh about with their friends while they measured my reactions and suddenly every joke felt like a lie. Every look felt like manipulation. Every moment I thought was real became part of their game. They thought I didn’t know, but the day I found out about the bet was the day everything changed. Because if And if Talon Vale and Nico Devereaux wanted to turn my life at SilverRidge Academy into a competition… Fine, I’d play along, but they were about to learn something very important. I might be the girl they bet on, but I’m not the girl who loses.
