Chapter 186: Desires
Chapter 186: Desires
Vida's POV
Morning came softly, for a moment, I didn't move, I just lay there, wrapped in his warmth. Slowly, I opened my eyes. The first thing I felt was that pull, the connection, that bond. My fingers lifted instinctively to my neck, brushing over the spot where Meredith had marked me. A faint tingle spread beneath my touch like something alive something permanent. I sat up slowly and quickly, I didn't want to wake Meredith, the sheet slipping slightly as I moved, and my gaze drifted toward the mirror across the room, carefully I got off the bed and walked towards it, my reflection stared back at me but I looked different, not the bad type of different but the good type, my heart race to all the things that had happened last night, for having the best sex of my life to having his mark rested beautifully on my neck. I tilted my head slightly, my fingers brushing over it again. No one knows how much I had dreamed and wished to have this on my neck, a soft smile forming on my lips, "I'm really yours now." I whisper.
"And I’m yours," a lazy voice came from behind me. "If you want, I could put my mark everywhere on your body."
I froze for a second, then turned slightly, glancing over my shoulder, Meredith was still on the bed, half covered, his hair messy, his eyes heavy with sleep, and something else. A playful smile curves my lips, then I raise a brow, "everywhere?" I repeated.
He smirked, "everywhere."
I pretended to think about it, then tapped my chin lightly, "Then I want one on my forehead."
He blinked, then burst out laughing, "Your forehead?" He repeated, sitting up slightly.
"Where did you think I wanted it?"
"There," he pointed at his chest and I get it, I laugh.
"Pervert!" He giggles.
"I could give you a very fine one around your tits."
"Meredith!" I called in frustration, and he giggled, then I repeated, "I'm serious."
"So you really wanted one on your forehead?" He asked again
"Yes," I said, completely serious. "So everyone can see it clearly, that I'm yours."
He shook his head, still laughing, "I would love to mark your face," he admitted, his gaze soft as he looked at me, "but I'm not about to disfigure your beautiful face."
I paused, then the word whispered in my head, beautiful? My eyes flickered back to the mirror, then to him, "You think I'm beautiful?" I asked quietly.
He didn't hesitate, "You have always been beautiful," my breath caught slightly, "even when you were dressed like a tomboy," he added, with a teasing glint in his eyes.
I narrowed mine at him, "Hey!"
"I'm serious," he cut in, smiling, "the first night I saw you..." His voice trailed slightly, like he was replaying the memory, "when you beat up that boy who tried to attack Luna Akira..."
I blinked, "You were there?"
"Yes," he said softly, his gaze darkened slightly, not in a bad way, but in a way that made my heart skip, "that night, all I could think about was grabbing you and throwing you on my bed, while I do wicked things that men do to women to you."
My mouth dropped open, "Meredith!"
He chuckled, "I like feisty women," he said shamelessly. "And you..." His eyes swept over me slowly, "...You were something else."
I shook my head, completely stunned, "I don't believe you."
"It's the truth," he said completely unapologetic, "a man got to do what he got to do."
I stared at him in disbelief, "You are unbelievable."
He grinned, "You made me do things I didn't even know I was capable of."
"Oh really?" I crossed my arms, "Like what?"
He leaned back slightly, counting on his fingers, "first, losing my mind over you in the middle of the road."
"Meredith!" I snarled.
"Then piercing my ear," he added.
My eyes widened slightly, "That was because of me, or you just want to punish me?" I faked annoyance.
"Of course, it wasn’t because of you, I just wanted to have something that belongs to you," he said softly, "and as if that wasn't enough," he smirked, "I got a tattoo," I laughed, remembering the night I saw my face on his arms.
"You are just obsessed with me."
"If you say so, I'm not going to argue," he shrugged, "you are a walking temptation," he said simply.
I couldn't help but laugh, then I tried to hide it by pouting, "You are making things up."
"I'm not," he said, completely serious now.
I tilted my head slightly, studying him, "Then why didn't you pounce on me that night?"
His brows lifted slightly, "What night?"
"The night in the car," I said, my voice dropping slightly, twisting my lips.
"The night we crashed?" He stared at me for a second, then he laughed, a deep knowing laugh, left his throat, "Why do you think we crashed?" He asked.
I rolled my eyes, fidgeting with my fingers, "because I was being annoying," I said quickly, and guiltily, "and I was touching myself!"
"That is not the reason," he cut in.
I paused, looking at him, "Then why?"
His gaze locked onto mine, "because I was imagining it was my hand," my breath caught, not expecting that, "not yours,"
Silence filled the room for a moment, "You!" I started, then stopped.
He shook his head slightly, his voice quieter, "You had no idea how badly I wanted you." My heart started beating faster. "If we hadn't crashed that night..." He paused slightly, then continued, "I swear to the goddess, I don't know if I would have been able to stop myself."
I swallowed hard. The honesty in his voice was real. I spoke again, "What about the boy?" I asked, "The one who tried to hurt me that night?" His expression changed.
"You don't want to know," he said.
"I do."
"Vida!"
"I won't judge you."
He looked away briefly, then back at me, "I killed him." The words hung in the air, my breath caught, I stared at him, he shrugged slightly, "I have been a bad boy."
I nodded slowly, "Should I call the cops?" I asked.
"You are turning me in?" He winked at me.
I smiled, "Yes."
"I knew it," he sighed dramatically, while I moved from the mirror and walked towards him.
I winked at him, "This beauty here is the cop in charge of your case." His eyes bulged, but before he could react, I pushed him gently back onto the bed. He let out a surprise laugh as I climbed on top of him. "I like bad boys," I said, my voice soft but playful, "they turned me on”
His hands found my waist instantly, "Is that so?" He muttered, I didn't answer, I just leaned down and kissed him hard, and fuck, he didn't even hesitate, he responded immediately, pulling me closer, the playful mood shifting into something deeper again. The connection between us flared instantly, stronger now and undeniable. My hand moved over him, exploring, memorizing, just like he had done with me.
Every touch felt different; they left me wanting more, and as each second passed, I connected on a deeper level with him, like I could not just feel his body but his emotion, his reactions, everything. "Vida," he breathed against my lips, but I didn't stop, and I didn't want him to stop. He pulled me in; we were both like starving lions, for someone that the doctor said they should be careful, but I didn't care about that. Since I woke up from death, if I should call it that, it seems my sex craving had increased.
The space between us disappeared again, replaced by warmth, closeness, and that undeniable pull that kept drawing us back to each other, and this time, there was no hesitation, no fear, no holding back, just us, choosing each other, over and over again. I moaned wantonly as he thrust deep into me. "You are so fucking warm," he teases me in a husky voice, his hands gripping the side of my hip, guiding me as he starts moving my hips up and down on him.
"Faster, Meredith!" I moaned, just that one word, it felt like a command and Meredith moved faster, my orgasm built up, my body trembling badly, there was no holding back now, my body collapsed on him, and I rested against him afterwards, my fingers tracing absent patterns against his skin, "I will always love you." He chuckled.
"Same here," he caresses my face, wiping the sweat off my face, "you will always be mine."
