"Sometimes I thought about how fate brought you to me. I waited so long to meet my mate, Crema. And now you're here with me. I'm just waiting for you to accept me as your mate" he said seriously to me.

I swallowed my saliva, what he said to me, and took a deep breath. I don't know why I can feel sadness in his voice. It disgusts me to think that there are times when my feelings are softened by what he shows like this. I always remind myself of what brought me here and that is my desire to take revenge and achieve justice for my parents. Anger and a desire to take revenge brought me here.

"I can't answer that question either, Alpha," I answered.

He smiled at me and turned his eyes to the distance. I could see that he was thinking deeply and Aryana immediately came to my mind. Is he still thinking about what happened between them earlier?

"Are you still thinking about Aryana?" I asked him.

"If I say yes, will you be angry?"he asked me.

I gasped at what he said, and I heard him gasp, too. My blood really heats up every time I think of that woman. I don't want Alpha Dior to pay more attention to that woman.

"Are you still thinking about what she said about me?" I asked him seriously.

"No. I was wondering if what I told her earlier was right.You know I raised my voice towards her" he answered.

"That should be up to her, Alpha.She has the courage to speak to me like that just to defame me in front of you." I insisted.

"You're right. What she did wasn't right either, so I couldn't stop myself from being angry with her," he told me calmly.

After our conversation we decided to go back inside and I invited him to go to the Arena to watch the wolves train for the possible battle. But the two wolves came to us from the basement.

"Alpha, our captives has escaped!" said a guard in a panic.

"What?!"

We immediately went to the basement where the Jail is located. This is the first time I have entered it. A dark way leads inside and there are No Ones imprisoned in the jail and its iron door is open. I was curious as to who those imprisoned here were and why they were imprisoned, but escaped. We saw a guard inside who was bloody and lifeless.

"How did they escape?! Why did you let them escape?!" he angrily asked the wolf guards behind us.

"Sorry, Alpha. But we will do everything to find them immediately," they apologized while bowing in front of us.

"Useless!" he said angrily.

"Calm down, Alpha," I calmly told him.

He just took a breath and was obviously trying to calm himself down. I invited him out and it was obvious that his blood was still hot against the guards because of their negligence. We just walked straight to the Arena. I don't know what was on his mind at that time. I just followed him until we got inside.

The wolves were currently training and they immediately stopped when they saw Alpha Dior approaching. They immediately bowed to pay their respects to the supreme Alpha of their Pack.

"Our dear Alpha," they uttered.

"Our captives escaped and I know they will come back to cause trouble in the castle," he said seriously.

"That Rogue is really smart, Alpha. We need to expand the gating security to better protect the castle against enemies, especially the ancient fang, Alpha. I know this is what they are after," Alexis responded seriously.

"You're right, Alexis. I'll make sure they don't get the fang again. I'll die before they get it," he said firmly.

"That's disrespectful, Alpha. But don't you notice that the enemies are attacking Woundwoods one after the other. And all this has been happening since that woman arrived," a woman insisted while pointing at me.

My blood suddenly warmed at what she said. I looked hard at Alpha while waiting for his reaction.

"Stop it, Adriana. You have no right to accuse my mate," he said firmly.

"Sorry, Alpha. It's just based on what I noticed," Adriana apologized.

Adriana is one of the female gammas who embarked on an intense training. She is the sister of Eloisa, who is a library manager. Eloisa, who is also one of the women who aspires to become a Luna.

Ariana suddenly came, and Alpha Dior looked at her seriously. She didn't know what Adriana said about me. But I knew she had something to do with it. She bowed in front of Alpha to pay her respects, and I changed into its silence.

I heard her breathe deeply and briefly looked at the wolves in front of us. A few seconds before she looked back at Alpha and spoke. And I couldn't believe what I heard from her.
