Chapter 33

Bloody and lifeless wolves appeared in front of us. I was surprised when Alpha suddenly screamed out of anger. He quickly ran into the castle and I immediately followed him.

We found Aryana and Aries, who looked as if their faces had been smashed by heaven and earth. They were bloody, but Alpha didn't even seem to notice them because he immediately went straight inside the room where the fang of the ancient wolf was kept. And we were just surprised when we heard him moaning loudly inside the room.

When I entered, I saw him kneeling on the floor. I don't know why I wasn't happy to see him in that situation. I immediately came up to him and held both his shoulder and made him stand up. But he still remained in that position. And I was surprised when Aryana suddenly spoke behind me and her voice was high to accuse me.

"You! I know you had something to do with what happened. The fang wouldn't have stolen if Alpha hadn't followed you into that forest. He neglected his pack because of you. Maybe you planned all of this!"she accused me.

I swallowed saliva at what she said, but I didn't make it obvious that I was guilty. I boldly denied what he accused me of.

"What are you saying,woman?!" I asked him firmly.

"Don't deny it anymore, Crema!"she answered angrily.

Alpha Dior immediately stood up and we looked at each other. I must admit that I felt a little nervous because I thought he would believe Aryana right away.

"Do you believe what he says, Alpha?" I asked him with a frown.

"No," he answered sparingly.

"Did you hear that?" I smiled sarcastically.

"Crema is not at fault here. If there is anyone to blame for what happened, it is me, Aryana. I know I neglected my pack but you don't have to blame her. It's not about her but about me. I wasn't there when my pack needed my protection," he said seriously.

"That's right, Alpha. You chose to accompany the woman you didn't even know much. How many times did that woman violate your rules? Didn't you think that maybe she was just deceiving you?," Aryana asked emphatically.

My blood warmed more and more for this woman. I wanted to slap and tease her at that time.

"That's enough, Aryana! No matter what you do to harm Crema, you cannot change my mind. She's my mate and no one has the right to blame her" Alpha said angrily.

"After all you still think about her, Alpha? What about your pack that depends on you? How about them?! I can't believe that you became her slave now!" Aryana replied firmly.

"You have no right to lead me and dictate how I lead my pack," Alpha Dior said seriously.

"Fine, It's up to you. I'm sorry if I disrespected you!" Aryana said firmly.

"Let's go, Aries!"

Aries bowed in front of Alpha to pay his respects before leaving to follow Aryana. Alpha and I were left in the room.

"You shouldn't have followed me anymore," I said firmly.

"Are you mad at me again?" he asked with a frown.

“Who wouldn't be angry at what that woman said?! Do you think that I'm just deceiving you?!” I asked him firmly.

"Just don't mind her. I don't believe her and I already told you that if anyone is to blame for what happened, It's me not you,Crema" he answered seriously.

I'm still trying to calm myself down. That woman is too nosy, so maybe I should be more careful with my every move. This is not the right time for Alpha Dior to know the truth. I need to get him around in my hands first. Until he will kneel down to beg me and suffer. I will not let my plans be ruined just because of that woman. I have to do something to make her disappear from this castle.

"I have to get the fang back. I have to get it out of Rogue's hands. They cannot take it away from me!," he said angrily.

"How can you get that back? I'm sure they've moved away from here." I asked him.

"No matter where in the world they are hiding. I will find them!" he said angrily.

After a while we went to the medical room where the wounded wolves are currently being treated due to the Rogues' attack. I don't know why I feel so guilty, even though I should be happy. His pack is slowly getting damaged, but I feel guilty thinking about it. That there are many innocent ones who feel sorry. Am I really so bad even though I didn't tell Alpha to follow me in the chaos? But yes, I admit that I knew he would follow me. My mind was a mess at that time. I hate this feeling because I shouldn't be guilty of what's happening, because if there's anyone to blame for what happened, it's him!

"Dragus is too strong, Alpha. He killed many of us," said the wolf man.

"Forgive me if I didn't protect all of you," he apologized.

"Don't blame yourself, Alpha. We can't rely on you all the time. We also have to protect ourselves. But the Rogue we encountered earlier is really strong. Especially since there are many of them, so sorry if we failed to protect the fang and they succeeded to stole the fang of the ancient wolf," the man apologized calmly.

"I promise I'll take it back, Alexis" he replied firmly.

They just nodded when they heard what the Alpha said. I can see the sadness in his eyes even though he pretends to be tough and brave in front of us. But why do I feel guilty instead of being happy?

After a while we decided to leave the room and it was obvious that he was restless while thinking about the stolen fang.

"I've been protecting it for decades. I won't let them take it away from me" I said firmly to myself.

"Calm down, Alpha," I replied to him.

"It's better that we go to the tower first so that you can feel better or maybe you want me to kiss you?" I said with a smile.

"Your funny,Crema,"he smiled sparingly.

I heard him sigh and he is obviously still troubled by what is happening in his pack. But why is this? Why am I hurt? Why am I guilty for what happened?

I know I shouldn't feel this because he should really experience how to lose. He should also feel the pain I suffered when my loved ones died because of the cruelty he did.

When we got to the top of the tower, he was just silent while looking into the distance. I've only seen him so sad now. There was a moment of silence between the two of us at that time. He looked seriously into my eyes and the sadness was really obvious as he looked at me and I was very surprised by what he did next.
