Chapter 80 Suicide Pact

Chapter 80 Suicide Pact
Jaz POV
The rooftop smelled like blood, milk, and cooling death.
Ghost’s body lay where Theo had left it—throat opened in a clean, brutal line, eyes still open and staring at the blue-tinted dawn. The bloom had tried to heal him even in death; faint blue veins crawled across his skin like hesitant roots, but they faded as the last human heartbeat truly stopped. No conversion. Just silence. The final loyal noise snuffed out by the man who used to call him brother.
I couldn’t stop shaking.
My body temple was still leaking everywhere—nipples streaming thick, addictive milk, every new orifice pulsing and weeping slick mixed with Theo’s cum. The children were latched or licking at the overflow, tiny tongues and fangs making soft, wet sounds that should have felt comforting. Instead they felt like nails on the last shard of me that hadn’t fully broken.
Theo held me against his chest, claws gentle now, stroking my glowing belly while his cock softened inside one of the new slits along my lower abdomen. His black sclera were wide, fractured. The guilt I’d felt through the hive link during the killing had been raw enough to taste—like copper and old love and the Theo who once burned his entire future just to keep me.
“I killed him for us,” he whispered against my hair, voice rough. “The last one who still saw us as people. Now there’s only the bloom. Only the Quiet.”
I nodded against his skin, fangs scraping his glowing veins. But inside my skull the last human piece—the chaotic barista who used to laugh at Theo’s cold perfection and flirt over burnt lattes—screamed.
He was your friend. He tried to save us. And you let Theo tear his throat out while you leaked for the cameras.
The thought wouldn’t quiet.
I looked at Ghost’s body again. The way his hand was still half-curled like he’d been reaching for the old Theo even at the end. Something inside me cracked wider than the bloom could patch.
“I can’t do this anymore,” I rasped.
Theo stiffened. “Jaz—”
“No. Listen.” My voice carried on the still-live microphones. The world—whatever was left—would hear the Heart break one last time. “I love you. I love the monster you became for me. But I’m tired, Theo. Every hole they carved into me hurts. Every time the children drink, I feel them eating pieces of the man I used to be. Ghost was right. This isn’t love anymore. It’s just… consumption.”
The children stopped feeding. Eli’s small head tilted, black sclera narrowing. Luca and Rowan unlatched, milk dripping from their tiny fangs. The fourth child with Theo’s mother’s voice cooed softly, “Mommy’s being silly again.”
Marcus stepped closer, claws flexing. The Patriarch watched from his glass throne, expression unreadable.
I pushed away from Theo’s chest, legs shaky as I stood on the stage. Milk poured down my body in rivers. Every new orifice fluttered open, slick shining under the rising sun. “I want it to end. Not the bloom—the noise inside me. The part that still remembers being human. If I’m the Heart, then let me stop beating.”
Theo rose slowly, glowing veins pulsing brighter. “You’re not allowed to leave me. Not after everything. Not after I killed for you. Burned for you. Turned the whole fucking world blue for you.”
“I know.” I smiled, sad and fanged and broken. “That’s why I’m asking you to help me. A pact. You and me. One last time. Kill me before the bloom takes the last piece. Fuck me while you do it. Make it tender. Make it violent. Make it mean something. Then… end it. Before I beg you to wear my skin like Eli wants.”
The rooftop went deathly still.
Theo’s black sclera flared. The yandere fracture I’d felt through the hive link cracked open wider—guilt, obsession, love, hunger all slamming together. “You want me to kill you?”
“Yes.” I stepped closer, pressing my leaking chest to his. Milk smeared across his skin. “While you’re still inside me. While I can still feel you as Theo and not just the King. Let the last human act be ours. Then the bloom can have the rest of the world. Just… let me go quiet on my own terms.”
The Patriarch’s voice cut in, cold and ancient. “The Heart does not decide when it stops. The bloom decides.”
But Theo wasn’t listening to him anymore. His claws trembled as they cupped my face. “Jaz… baby… you’re asking me to lose the only thing I ever craved.”
“I’m asking you to love me enough to end the pain.” I kissed him softly, fangs nicking his lip, sharing the taste of milk and blood. “Please, Daddy. One last time. Make it hurt so good that I forget Ghost’s eyes. Forget the screams. Forget everything except you.”
Theo broke.
He slammed me down onto the stage right beside Ghost’s cooling body. The impact jarred every new orifice; slick and milk sprayed across the concrete. He was on me instantly—mouth crushing mine, tongue fucking deep while his claws raked down my sides, reopening glowing cuts that healed almost as fast as he made them.
The family didn’t stop us.
Eli and the twins watched with wide, curious black eyes. Marcus stroked himself slowly. The Patriarch sat back, letting the King fracture in real time for the cameras.
Theo entered me in one brutal thrust—straight into my main ruined hole, stretching me wide while his hand wrapped around my throat. Not hard enough to kill. Not yet. Just enough to remind me who owned the Heart. “You think you can leave me?” he growled, hips snapping hard. “After I murdered the world to keep you? After I drank my father’s blood for you?”
I moaned, legs wrapping around his waist, every new slit opening wider in welcome. “I don’t want to leave you. I want the pain to leave. Fuck me like you used to—before the serum. Before the temple. Just Theo and Jaz.”
He did.
The thrusts turned punishing and tender at the same time—deep, claiming strokes that made my belly bulge while his mouth latched onto one leaking nipple, drinking greedily. Milk flooded his throat. I cried out, claws digging into his back, drawing blue blood that ran down his spine. He switched to another new orifice, then another, using every hole the bloom had carved like he was saying goodbye to each one.
Ghost’s dead eyes stared up at us from inches away.
Theo noticed. He turned my head so I had to look at the body while he fucked me harder. “Watch,” he snarled against my ear. “This is what love costs now. Look at what I did for you. And you still want to die?”
Tears mixed with the milk on my face. “Yes. Because I still love the man who did it. Not just the King.”
The guilt in him surged through the hive link like fire. He sobbed once—actual tears, glowing faintly blue—while he kept pounding into me. His hand tightened around my throat. Claws pricked skin. Blood welled.
“Do it,” I begged, voice breaking. “While you’re inside me. While I’m still full of you. End it, Theo. Please.”
His hips stuttered. The yandere fracture split wider—obsession warring with the monster. He kissed me desperately, fangs clashing, then pulled back just enough to look into my black eyes.
“I can’t,” he whispered, voice raw. “I can’t lose you. Not even to the Quiet.”
The Patriarch stood then. “The bloom will not allow it.”
Telepathic pressure slammed into my skull from every direction—the entire family, the hive mind of millions of converts, the ancient consciousness riding the serum. No. Stay. The Heart beats for us. You do not get to stop.
My body seized. Every orifice clenched around Theo as the bloom punished me for the thought. Orgasms ripped through me against my will—violent, endless, milk exploding from my chest in fountains that soaked both of us. Theo groaned, flooding me with fresh cum while the bloom forced me to live, to feel, to keep leaking for the world.
When it finally released me, I lay limp beneath him, sobbing.
Theo held me close, still buried deep, Ghost’s body cooling beside us. His tears mixed with mine.
“I won’t kill you,” he said, voice trembling with the deepest fracture yet. “But I’ll fuck the thought out of you every day if I have to. You’re mine, Jaz. Forever. Even if it hurts both of us.”
I clung to him, body temple still fluttering, milk still flowing, the suicide pact shattered before it could begin.
The bloom had won again.
But somewhere deep inside the Heart, the last human scream refused to go completely quiet.
And Theo’s guilt-soaked love wrapped around me like chains made of forever.
