Chapter 52 - Good girl

Chapter 52 - Good girl
~Author’s POV~

“Boss, you suddenly vanished and I couldn't find you,” Simon muttered, his eyes glistening as he stuffed a piece of bread in his mouth.

“Okay, okay, don't cry. I wasn't abducted. I returned to my family,” Harriet muttered, flinching at her own words.

“You had a family? How come they never came to visit you? Not even once after you revealed your mother passed away! Do they have any idea who you are?” Simon asked, his eyes wide as saucers. For the years he'd been with Harriet, he had never known she had a family. It all suddenly seemed so surreal.

Harriet stared at the young man, a year younger than herself before picking up her glass of apple juice and downing it in one go. If one looked closer, they would see the pain she has masked with coldness and indifference.

“My father had sent me away when I was younger–after my mother passed away. He chose his mistress and her child, and only brought me back after he felt I was useful. That's why I left without telling you,” Harriet calmly muttered, making Simon's jaw drop. She knew she couldn't tell him that she had returned twice. The first time, she was murdered by them.

“Scumbag,” he cussed, making Harriet smile. In this life, she knew who to prioritize. Simon was one of them. And a certain someone…

Shaking her head to get rid of the thoughts, she turned to Simon who stared at her intently.

“But if your father had kicked you out, where do you live? I don't remember you carrying your black card along. You left me and Katherine to manage the business and you just vanished. We kept the profits for you,” He finished in one breath, making Harriet's lips curl up.

She rose to her feet before muttering,

“I found a sugar daddy,”

And then she turned and left the cafe. It was already 11 o'clock, which was late, yet getting an Uber wasn't hard at all.

She had just arrived at Rael's mansion, tiptoeing into the living room when the lights lit up. She jolted before her eyes moved.

And then she saw him, seated on a couch beside the fireplace, a can of coke in his hand. He took a sip occasionally, his eyes never leaving the flickering flames of the fire.

“Come here,” his voice rang out, making her flinch. Without thinking too much about it, she walked over to him, completely caught off guard when he downed the entire coke in one gulp, and then turned to her.

“You're late,” he pointed out, making Harriet shiver. His eyes were on her, piercing into her very soul.

“I…” she stared, but was cut off by him.

“Starting today, you have a curfew. You'll come back when it is 6 o'clock,” he said, making her eyes widen.

“That's too early! What if school closes late?” Harriet asked, making the man's lips curl up. This woman was really courting death by talking back.

Harriet gasped as he pulled her to sit on him. She could feel his member just below her buttocks.

“Do you really want to disobey me, little lamb? Have you forgotten who calls the shots around here?” he whispered in her ear, making her shiver from feeling his hot breath brush her skin.

Harriet's eyes widened when she felt his free hand slide under her shirt and into it, gripping one of her breasts and squeezing hard. She hissed, yet she didn't try to push his hand away.

“Perhaps I should remind you what will happen if you disobey me?” He asked, but this time, his voice wasn't friendly at all. It made goosebumps rise up on her skin.

A loud chatter erupted as the empty can of coke landed on the ground, jolting Harriet. She realized something—what if the maids weren't asleep yet? This was the living room!

She slapped Rael's hand, wanting to get off and run away, but he only pulled her down on the couch, tearing her pants off. Her eyes widened.

“What are you doing? This is the living room!” She half-yelled, not knowing whether to laugh or cry, yet the man only paused for a bit before continuing to discard her clothes. He knew what her fear was, so he muttered,

“No one dares to watch,”

Harriet shivered once her shirt had come off, and she stared at Rael as he peeled his shirt off, his tout muscles being hit by the glow from the fireplace. His body was like that of a Greek god, mesmerizing any woman that came into view, and Harriet was not an exception. She suddenly realized that she had not observed his body at all before. Her gaze moved from his chest, to his abs, and then to his abdomen. She paused, noticed something…her mouth turned agape at the sight of the man's smooth abdomen.

If she remembered correctly, the wound he had sustained from his last accident was enough to leave a huge scar. But now, not only was there no scar, but it was increasingly difficult to tell where the wound had been.

‘He really has good skin,’ she thought to herself, but this thought was quickly shut down when the man's lips took one of her nipples into his mouth, sucking hard. She yelped when he bit her nipple, and then moaned again when his tongue soothed the bite.

Rael's wet kisses trailed down her body until he was satisfied. After feeling how wet she was with his fingers, he laid beside her on the couch, spooning her.

Harriet shivered when he raised one of her legs, and in one swift motion, he penetrated her, going in deeper than he had ever done.

“Ah!” She moaned louder than she intended, forcing herself to jam her panties into her mouth.

Rael saw this and pulled his cock out before jamming it back into her, earning a muffled yelp from her.

“Whenever you disobey me, remember your punishment. Do you understand?” He asked, his waist moving faster by the minute. Harriet’s eyes rolled back, unable to answer, which angered the man. He pulled the piece of clothing from her mouth before asking her again.

“Do you understand?”

He slammed hard into her when he asked this, making Harriet yelp.

“Yes, I understand,” she managed to voice out.

“Good girl,”
