Chapter 530 Insatiable Greed

Chapter 530 Insatiable Greed

Rufus's words were sincere, with no intention of shirking responsibility.

His compensation was actually very, very generous.

It was like giving away an Eternal set for free, along with double the compensation money, and then adding two small pieces of jewelry as a bonus.

This was completely giving face!

You have to know that a brand like Sunflower, with such a good reputation, has stood firm in the industry for many years for a reason.

Some who had been to Sunflower Group's headquarters couldn't help but whisper.

"I have to say, Sunflower's online and offline services are consistently excellent."

"Yeah, how many companies can be this generous?"

Rufus smiled slightly, gazing at Ally.

Ally's unfriendly expression softened a bit.

After all, the vice president of Sunflower had said so, and it was considered giving her face in front of so many people.

She couldn't help but feel a bit proud.

"Mr. Chapman, you better explain to everyone that the jewelry was indeed bought from your Sunflower, and I didn't deliberately buy some cheap fake!"

Ally emphasized the word "fake."

Rufus nodded and followed her words, saying to everyone, "Yes, this lady is right. It was indeed our oversight, and we will definitely provide you with a reasonable solution."

Ally snorted lightly.

"That's good."

Rufus discreetly breathed a sigh of relief.

He thought the matter was resolved.

But Ally commanded, "So, where's your apology?"

Rufus was slightly taken aback.

Hadn't he already apologized?

"Mr. Chapman, do you think a simple 'sorry' can make up for the harm I just suffered?"

"You don't even know the nasty things these people said about me, so now you must apologize to me in front of everyone with a thousand-word apology."

"Otherwise, this isn't over!"

Luann frowned slightly.

There was a hint of dissatisfaction.

Someone couldn't stand it anymore and stood up.

"Ms. North, Sunflower has already given you enough face. The compensation is more than enough; let's leave it at that."

"Yeah, there's no need to put Rufus in such an awkward position, right?"

"Exactly! And you also broke the real Eternal, don't you need to compensate for that?"

"Unbelievable! How can there be such an unreasonable woman! Is this the kind of vision the North family's daughter has? I really don't know how the North family educates their daughters! It's a disgrace to the Upper West Side!"

Ally snorted coldly.

"It's not like I forced him to give the compensation."

"Besides, a mistake is a mistake. Apologizing and making amends is normal."

"Am I, the victim, not allowed to protect my rights?"

The crowd said, "But you going to Sunflower Group's internal staff to get the Eternal was already breaking the rules! You have some responsibility too!"

Ally raised her chin.

"The customer is always right."

"What responsibility do I have?"

"Mr. Chapman, hurry up and apologize!"

Rufus frowned slightly.

There were some things he hadn't said.

The employee named Anouk hadn't transferred the money to Sunflower's company account.

Apart from the Eternal set given to Luann, there would only be nine payment records.

So the money Ally gave should have gone into Anouk's pocket.

In simple terms, Sunflower was already at a loss in this deal.

At least three hundred million dollars.

At this moment, Rufus was already a bit displeased.

Sunflower was really unlucky this time, encountering a new employee who caused so much trouble.

On a small scale, it could be considered the employee's greed.

But on a larger scale, since the employee was from Sunflower, the head office couldn't escape responsibility.

What a headache!

Luann stood up unhurriedly.

"Ms. North, Sunflower will issue an apology statement on Facebook later, explaining what happened."

"Today is Anna's birthday party, so let's discuss this after the event?"

"Rest assured, Sunflower is a big company, and we have no intention of shirking responsibility."

Ally's eyes were mocking.

"Luann."

"You're something."

"Seeing the vice president Rufus come out, you're so eager to please?"

"Trying to earn some credit in front of Rufus so you can get a promotion and raise?"

Rufus's face suddenly changed.

Luann's reputation was not something Ally could casually tarnish!

Rufus's voice turned cold, "Miss, please watch your words."

"Getting angry?" Ally suddenly looked playfully between Luann and Rufus.

Who knows what she was thinking.

She smiled faintly.

"How strange, Rufus, you're defending a little designer so much."

"Luann's husband hasn't even said anything, why are you so anxious?"

As she spoke, Ally glanced at Myron.

Myron was playing with his phone, as if this had nothing to do with him.

And it really didn't.

Such a clown, Luann could handle herself.

"Could it be that you and Luann have some special relationship?" Ally's meaningful words caused quite a stir, "Is that why you're protecting her so much?"

Rufus's hand under his suit sleeve trembled slightly.

How could there be such an unreasonable woman!

Although Rufus had been in business for many years, the overall atmosphere at Sunflower Group was particularly good, not like a company at all, but more like a warm family.

This led him to forget that there would always be some annoying people!

Juliet exclaimed.

"Ally, don't say that, Luann could never be that kind of person!"

"It's normal for a boss to defend their employee."

"Otherwise, how could Luann get that Eternal set without paying?"

This statement drew everyone's attention to the big screen.

Everyone counted carefully.

There were only nine payment transactions.

And none of them had Luann's name!

Huh?

Yeah!

"What's going on?"

"Didn't they say employees can't get it internally?"

"Could it be that Luann, as the Miller family's daughter, got special treatment?"

"What are you talking about, that's impossible, don't make wild guesses."

Seeing this, Ally seemed to have grasped another handle.

"And you say there's nothing between you! That high and mighty Eternal, painstakingly designed by the designer, was so easily given away by the vice president?"

"Myron, stop playing with your phone."

"Look up and see, your wife has already been taken away by someone else!"
