Chapter 136 – Willow

*****7 Months Later*****

“I am a whale.” I said as I made my way out to the waiting car. Jeremy was out of the vehicle holding the door open for me, but then ran to me and walked me to the car.

“Are you sure that you want to go to work today?” He looked concerned.

I glared at him.

“It is just that, Mr. Moore said that you were supposed to relax until you have the baby. And I was only supposed to pick you up in the case that you were…um…birthing the baby.”

I glared at him again. “Jeremy…I like you. I really do. But do you want to go against Ogden or a 9 month pregnant woman?”

Jeremy thought for a moment. “Good point.” He helped me sit in the car and made sure I was comfortable. “But do me a favor and tell him you forced me to take you in.”

“Deal.” My huge stomach took up all of the space in front of me. I was uncomfortable and miserable. This little guy has been refusing to come out. We confirmed that it was a boy and Ogden was over the moon but said eventually he wanted a little girl.

My OBGYN said that it could be at any minute now. But it didn’t seem like it. Ogden and I have been reading on how to induce labor. I wanted to let the little guy come on his own terms. But as the days went on and I became more uncomfortable, I wanted him out.

We read that eating spicy food would help. But no matter how spicey the food was, the little guy wouldn’t budge, and Ogden was dying from spicey food.

We went on long walks hoping that he would decide to want to drop. But he never did, and it was a little awkward that Ogden had a car following us just in case I went into labor.

I ate all of the food and used all of the oils, but nothing seemed to help. I was just greasy, sweaty, and uncomfortable.

I would sit on the couch as Ogden tapped on his laptop trying to find something else that would help us along. A couple weeks ago, he snorted at his computer screen and turned it so I could read. The article said that sex and nipple stimulation could potentially help.

I looked up at him. I felt bad for the last month I was too big and uncomfortable to even think about having sex. But Ogden only supported me. He would say it didn’t matter and that he was more than happy to be here with me and rub my feet.

But the information in front of me gave me hope that maybe this would help. Ogden said I didn’t have to worry about a thing, and he would take care of me. And boy was he right. I knew I felt stuffed to the gills and the baby was pushing on every single organ in my body. But Ogden went to work.

Halfway through, I lost count of how many orgasms I had. He pulled out all of the stops and wouldn’t stop until I begged him to. I knew he had pent up energy and he wanted to make sure that he did the job. But at the end of it, there wasn’t even a twinge of labor pains.

Every night since then he has worshipped my body and pushed me over the edge, writhing against him as he pounded into me. I missed how it felt to have him in me. And every night when he returned from work he would pounce on me wherever I was. In the kitchen, at the dining room table, on the couch. He even bent me over in the shower when he was still fully dressed.

After a few nights, I started to look forward to when I heard him come through the door. I started to not wear underwear because it only slowed us down. And wore easy accessible clothing so I could get my release sooner.

Now, I was sitting in the back of this car. More pregnant than ever and miserable. I couldn’t sit around the house anymore. Working from home started to seem like a prison and since this little guy wasn’t budging, I might as well go into the office. I needed to talk to people.

Jeremy ran around the vehicle and helped me out of the car. He more like pulled me from it as I couldn’t really get up on my own anymore.

I waddled through the lobby. Everyone looked at me and started to whisper. I ignored them. I knew I was a whale, and they haven’t seen me in forever. But the gossiping needed to stop. I grunted at them as I passed. I was in no mood.

“Hello, Mrs. Moore. How are you doing today?” Otis said as he tipped his hat toward me.

“Miserable, Otis. Positively miserable.” I looked at him and did my best to give him a smile.

“Do you think it wise you coming here?” He raised his eyebrows.

“I cannot stay at home for a second longer or else I’m going to lose my mind. Plus, woman have worked right up to giving birth, so why shouldn’t I?” I knew my words sounded snippy, but I couldn’t help it. I was over being pregnant. I was ready to hold little nugget, who wasn’t so little anymore.

“You can do whatever you want, ma’am.” He looked a little scared.

“Sorry, Otis.” I didn’t want him to hate me.

“I get it. My wife was the same way with each of her seven pregnancies.” Otis chuckled.

“She went through this seven times?” I asked him in shock.

“All beautiful babies and she was more than happy after the fact.” He gave me a dazzling smile. “Did you want me to let Mr. Moore know that you are here?”

“No!” I yelled at him. “Sorry, no. He’s just going to baby me and tell me to go home. I just need to be around other people for a change.”

Otis chuckled. “Alright. Well have a good day.” He gave me a wink as I went onto the elevator.

A couple more people joined and a woman that I have never seen smiled at me. “You’re Mrs. Moore, right?”

I gave her a curt smile. “Yes.”

“It is so exciting about the baby!” She extended her hand and touched my belly.

I looked up at the ceiling. “Please, do not touch me.” Ever since I started to show, more and more people felt like they had a right to touch my stomach. As my pregnancy went on, I got angrier and angrier.

“Oh, I was just…”

I cut her off. “I know. But you should never touch a woman’s stomach without permission. Since I haven’t given you permission, you shouldn’t even think about touching me.” I snapped at her. “It is rude and more often than not the pregnant woman doesn’t want you to touch her. And that has never been truer than right now.”

The man that was in the lift with us tried to make himself small in the corner. I was a raging pregnant woman, and he didn’t want to get into the line of fire.

The woman stood there staring at me with her mouth wide open. “I…I.”

“Isn’t this your floor?” I asked. The doors opened and she backed out as if she didn’t want to turn her back to me in case I attacked her.

The man cleared his throat. “Sorry.”

I glared at him. “Sorry for what?”

He glanced at me and shrugged. “Sorry that people think it is okay to do that. Touching someone like that wouldn’t even cross my mind.”

“You are a gem.” The doors opened to my floor, and I turned to the man. “Thank you.” I gave him a genuine smile.

I walked to my cubicle and everyone on my floor stared at me. I knew people would stare but I didn’t realize how angry it got me.

“What are you doing here?” Sophia who was just a couple months behind me asked. Her belly was protruding just as far as mine.

“I couldn’t stay at home for one more moment. I was going crazy.” Tears started to spill. At the drop of a dime, I would start crying.

“What’s wrong?” Sophia did her best to give me a hug, but our bellies bumped together.

I sniffled. “It’s just…it’s just that a woman touched my stomach in the elevator, and I yelled at her. And I’m so over being pregnant. I’m huge and tired. And he just won’t come out.” I let out a sob.

Sophia chuckled.

My tears dried up instantly and I glared at her. “In a month you are going to feel like this. And I will laugh because you are going to be in my shoes.”

“Why don’t you just induce? Why are you torturing yourself to do everything naturally?”

“Because…ugh I don’t even know my reasons anymore. I had them but now they are gone. Damn mommy brain. It is like I am missing a full section of brain and can only think at like a quarter of the speed.”

“I can definitely feel that.” Sophia chuckled again.

I looked down at the floor, slightly ashamed of how I was feeling right now. I should be happy; I was pregnant with the love of my life’s baby. But I was so moody. “You have got to be kidding me.”

“What?”

“Are you wearing stilettos?” I glared at the shoes that was on Sophia’s feet. She was seven months pregnant, and she was wearing death shoes.

“Yeah. I’m used to them, and these ones are comfortable.” She gave me a shrug.

I looked down at what I was wearing. I had something that resembled a Moomoo and a pair of dirty leggings. I couldn’t even see my feet, but I was pretty sure the shoes didn’t match. I looked at what Sophia was wearing. She was put together. Clean maternity shirt with a nice pair of pants.

I started to sob. I thought I was going to be some cute pregnant woman, but I was a mess. I am pretty sure I looked worse than I thought. And when Ogden said I was beautiful, he was just trying to make me feel better.

“What’s wrong?” I could hear concern in Sophia’s voice, but I couldn’t see her through the tears.

“I’m fat and ugly.” I said in between sobs.

“Ohhh.” Sophia pulled me into her arms again. “No, you’re not. You’re pregnant and on the verge of having a baby.”

“But why do you look like that, and I look like this?” I wiped at the tears on my cheeks.

“Will, seriously you are about to pop. I’m sure I am going to stay at home and probably wear nothing but chocolate syrup. Not because of anything sexy, just because I missed my mouth.”

I gave her a little laugh.

“I’m still not to your point yet. Sure, I’m pretty pregnant, but I have two months left before I get to the point where I’m begging this sucker to come out.” She pulled away from me and pointed to her stomach. “Let’s go to the breakroom, there are some donuts in there and we can get some tea.”

I gave one final sniffle and nodded. “Okay.” Like every other moment of the day, I was hungry even though I just ate not even an hour ago.

I waddled after Sophia who was still able to walk effortlessly in her heels. I was jealous. I wished I looked half as good as she did, but I couldn’t compare myself. We never dressed alike, and I shouldn’t expect that now.

The breakroom was empty. I thanked the heavens above because I don’t think I was fit to speak to another person for the rest of the day. It was a stupid idea to come to the office. I was just getting cabin fever.

I leaned against the counter and my stomach cramped. “Ow.” I held onto my stomach as another wave of cramps spread through me. Just then, a stream of water puddled under me. “Oh my god.” Fear filled my very being. This was it. I was going into labor. “I’m not ready.”

I stared at Sophia who just looked at me for a moment. The shock on her face showed that she wasn’t even ready for me to go into labor.

“Call, Ogden.” I said quickly. When Sophia didn’t move I shook her. “Soph, call Ogden.” I held onto my stomach as another wave of cramps hit me. The baby was coming whether if I was ready or not.
