Chapter 45: The World That Wasn't Mine.

Chapter 45: The World That Wasn't Mine.
Jade's POV

I struggled as though the world itself was closing in on me, burying me alive beneath invisible weight.

Eric gaze stood too close..too real, his presence pressing against my senses as my heart thundered in my chest.

“Jade,” he said softly, almost carefully. “Are you okay?”

I nodded, though my throat tightened painfully. I gulped and forced the words out. “Uh… I—I need to leave. I really need to leave.”

His brow lifted slightly, suspicion flickering in his eyes. Without a word, he leaned toward Sasha and whispered something. She gave him a strange look before turning and leaving the room.

The door barely closed before Eric stepped closer.
Too close.

He studied my face as if he could see every thought unraveling inside my head. Then, suddenly, his hand clamped around my arm.“You killed them,” he said calmly. “Didn’t you?”

I spun sharply, my breath hitching as I tried to free myself from his grip.“What...what are you talking about?”

He tightened his hold. “Stop resisting,” he hissed. “You always want me. Don’t you?”

My eyes widened in confusion. “What… what is going on?”

He laughed then...a low, terrible sound that sent chills racing down my spine.“Listen carefully, Jade,” he said, his voice dark and certain. “This is not your world. This is my world. And until you let go of Eros, your life will never fall into place the way it’s meant to.”

Fear crawled through me as I looked around the room, suddenly unfamiliar, suddenly wrong.“Who are you?” I whispered. “What is happening to me?”

Eric moved back and sat, calm and composed, as though none of this disturbed him.“Do you understand how your life has been going so far?”

I swallowed hard. “What’s that supposed to mean? I didn’t do anything. I don’t deserve this. Everything keeps repeating...my life just… spins in circles. I’m confused.”

He reached for my hands, his touch grounding and terrifying all at once.“Do you want to be free?”

I blinked. “Free from what?”

His lips curved into a knowing smile. “Do you remember the day you bid for Eros-7?”

A sharp pain split through my head. I gasped, clutching my temple as flashes...blurred, broken, threatened to surface.

He watched me carefully.“Easy,” he said. “Let me help you.”

“I don’t understand you,” I whispered.

“As long as you have Eros,” he continued, “your world will never make sense. He was built for you. And until you undo the past, nothing will align.”

I pulled my hands away, my breath coming fast and uneven as memories rushed in like a flood breaking through a dam.

The first time I saw Eros.
The bidding.
Ma'am Samantha.
Saving him.
The facility where he was built.
The darkness swallowing my consciousness.

And that voice. 'If I can’t remember you… may you remember this.'

“Oh my God,” I whispered, stumbling back. “Oh my God. Have I been dreaming? My life… all of this… is it a dream?”

Eric laughed softly. “You asked for it.”

“I asked for nothing!” I shouted. “Nothing! What is happening to me?”

He sighed. “Your life was exchanged for a robot. Somewhere out there is a version of you...built, living, breathing your existence.”

“Eric…” My voice trembled. “What is all this?”

He grabbed my arms again, desperation bleeding through his calm.“I need my life back too. This isn’t my life. Eros-7 was carved out of me. He’s living what should be mine. If you want your life back, we have to work together.”

Tears spilled freely now. Everything made sense, and nothing did. The confusion. The chaos. The constant feeling of loss.

“Yes,” I said through my sobs. “I’ll help you. I need my life back.”

He nodded. “I’ll send you a location tonight. I work in robot sales because I was searching for my identical..so I could destroy it and be free.”

“But how do you know all this?” I asked shakily.

“My father died,” he said quietly. “His robot self kept living.”

Fear tightened around my chest. “So… they can predict our deaths?”

He smiled grimly. “Yes. Of course they can.”

We stared at each other, the silence heavy.
I stepped closer without thinking, drawn by something reckless and desperate, and tried to kiss him.

He stopped me gently, his fingers against my lips.“You need to fight this,” he whispered. “This isn’t you. They’re pushing us together...using desire to pressure reality into place. Learn to control it.”

Shame washed over me. I nodded.

“If we succeed,” he continued, “Sasha won’t know me. Those people you think you killed? They’ll be nothing but stories, because none of it ever happened.”

“So… this really is a dream?” I asked.

“Your consciousness is still in the room where Eros was built,” he said. “They’re still working on your robotic transformation.”

That explained everything.
My lack of control.
My constant confusion.

“They want you broken,” he added. “So you’ll end your own life, and your robot will live the years meant for you.”

I looked at him carefully. “Why are you sure Eros-7 is your copy?”

“I made them believe I accepted my other self,” he replied. “But either way, I was going to die.”

My mind raced. I knew where Eros-7 was. But something deep inside me screamed that he shouldn’t be harmed.

“What happens if you don’t find him?” I asked.

“If we go without his location, I’ll spend my life chasing him,” Eric said. “You’ll get your life back.”

“I don’t know where he is,” I lied quietly.

He searched my face, then nodded. I hated myself for the lie...but I needed to be sure

.“Let’s get my life back first,” I said. “Then I’ll help you search.”

“Deal?” he asked.

“Anything for my savior.”

He smiled faintly. “What if we get our lives back and realize we were never meant to meet?”

I laughed weakly. “You’d be a bartender, and I’d be some rich girl showing off my perfect life.”

“Why am I the poor one?” he asked.

“Because whoever’s writing my life is obsessed with tragic romance,” I said. “Rude CEO falls for poor girl nonsense.”

We laughed, but the tension lingered.“I hope we survive,” I said.

He nodded. “Why did you want Eros-7 in the first place?”I

I turned away. “Can we talk about something else?”

“Of course, ma’am.”

The air between us thickened.

He leaned closer, whispering, “They’re generous to let us enjoy this.."

I laughed and said, "Shut up." As I dragged him closer, kissing him nonstop..

He returned the kiss as he grabbed my waist, opening my legs and bent down to eat my coochie,

I moaned in pleasure when he inserted his finger deeply. "Okay, here we go, that was so fast but yeah... eat me up baby." I screamed in pleasure.

He inserted his fingers, thrusting in fast and using his tongue to tease my clit. "Fuck fuck yes!" I screamed.

He turned me as he whispered, "Rub my cock." I nodded and began rubbing his cock slowly, I adjusted and spit on it while stroking it.

He was fucking hard as I kept stroking it fastly, hearing him groan in maximum pleasure.

"Do you love it? Say it." I whispered.

"Yes, Fuck you are the best." He groaned moving his waist so I can stroke faster.

I gently held his cock and slide into my pussy as he raised my legs and began thrusting in roughly. "Harder Harder! Yesss!"

I screamed, giving him the zeal to thrust in deeper.

He held my waist tightly, spanking my ass-cheek as I could hear the sound of my wetness.

I tightened my pussy, gripping his cock, and making way for my cum. "Go on, Go On, oh fuck, better don't stop."

I screamed in pleasure.

"You love it yeah?" he asked going faster and deeper.

"Oh oh fuck I'm about to cum! oh fuckkk." I screamed like I was about to lose my life.

Then the door flew open.

Sasha stood there, frozen, staring straight at us.

Eric pulled back instantly.

I held his hand and said calmly, “Relax. This isn’t even real.”

He scoffed. “You slept with her ex. So stay quiet and let me fix this.”

“This is insane,” I snapped. “She won’t remember any of this.”

Before another word could be said, I screamed...

As Sasha rushed toward me with the last thing I ever expected.
