Chapter 125 Steven Is More Jealous
"Yes!" The bodyguard left and said a few words to the waiter.
The waiter nodded, walked to the riverside, and whispered in Nora's ear as she was fishing, "Ms. Adams, hello, there's a gentleman named Steven York outside looking for you. He wants you to come out for a moment."
Steven?
Why was he here?
Nora, puzzled, said to Andrew, "Mr. Hayes, you keep fishing. Please excuse me for a moment."
A hint of suspicion flashed in Andrew's eyes as he looked up at her, "Who's looking for you?"
"My friend." Nora answered calmly and followed the waiter out.
Andrew's eyes coldly watched her retreating figure.
Could it be Steven?
Did he really chase her all the way here?
If it was true, that proved Steven really cared about Nora.
"Mr. York is in the lounge."
The waiter led Nora to a lounge door. If it weren't for James standing outside, she would definitely have been suspicious.
Nora asked James, "Is Steven inside?"
"Yes." James answered her.
The person inside heard the voices outside, afraid she wouldn't come in, and said in a deep voice, "Come in."
It was indeed Steven's voice.
Only then did Nora let down her guard and pushed the door open.
The light inside was a bit dim.
Steven sat on a wide, long sofa, his posture elegant yet carrying a chilling coldness.
Nora walked to the table, and several photos were thrown right in her face.
Nora's eyelashes trembled, getting a bit angry, "What are you doing?"
"What am I doing? Why don't you tell me what you're doing here?" Steven stared at her darkly.
Nora picked up the photos from the floor.
They were all photos of her and Andrew from today.
Some of them hugging, eating sushi together, and her handing him a helmet.
Seeing her looking down at them, Steven sneered, "Don't say I'm accusing you of cheating. This is the evidence."
The certainty in his words made Nora's heart ache again.
She had come out today to clear her mind and had been feeling a bit better, but now he was causing trouble again.
Yesterday, he called her a 'Gold Digger'.
Today, he had someone secretly follow her, and without asking her for an explanation, threw photos at her and insulted her.
She pressed her lips together.
Seeing her silence, Steven got even angrier, "If I hadn't come today, were you planning to go get a hotel room with him?"
Nora froze completely.
She had thought she could explain.
But hearing his last sentence, Nora understood that Steven had never trusted her at all.
He could have asked yesterday, but he didn't. Instead, he had someone secretly follow her.
She lowered her head and said somewhat weakly, "Steven, let's get divorced."
Without a divorce, he would always view her with suspicion.
Nora felt tired.
There wasn't even basic trust between them.
Maybe from the beginning, their meeting was wrong—getting married after just one meeting, never really understanding each other.
Later, because of her family issues, Steven became deeply convinced that she was just a 'Gold Digger'.
Maybe he wasn't wrong.
Before, when Tanner had a baby, she borrowed money from him, and later, because of business matters, borrowed some more...
Although she promised to pay him back, she still hadn't.
For that moment, Nora didn't want to explain anymore. She felt divorce was the right thing to do. Only after divorcing would Steven realize his thinking was wrong.
She didn't want to endure these false accusations anymore.
It was too painful.
So painful her eyes turned red.
Her nose felt sour, too.
Hearing "divorce," Steven said darkly, "Saw a man you like better, so you want to trade me in?"
"Think whatever you want. Anyway, I've decided I want to divorce you."
After saying this, she put down the photos and got up to leave.
But before she could reach the door, a strong force grabbed her—it was Steven's hand.
Nora's expression changed. Steven had already pulled her back and pressed her onto the sofa.
"Think you can't get anything more from me, so you want to leave?" His face was ashen.
"I didn't!" Nora shouted, trying to push him away, but he pinned her hands above her head and moved even closer.
Nora was only wearing tight leggings. Being pressed down by him made her very uncomfortable and a bit panicked.
Steven wanted to teach her a lesson. With a hard yank, he pulled off her leggings.
Nora's legs were exposed.
She panicked completely, biting her teeth and backing away.
"I'll pay you back that money, I'll pay it all back in a few days! Don't come closer..." Once Duke's order was settled, she would transfer all the money back to his card!
She retreated, and Steven advanced.
He pulled her soft body into his arms and pressed her beneath him.
Nora was forced into a corner, facing Steven's gloomy expression.
His breathing was heavy and uneven, his aura terrifying. Nora was very scared.
She screamed in fright, "I really will pay you back! I promise,I won't owe you a single cent."
Won't owe him a single cent?
Hearing this, Steven got even more furious.
She wanted to completely cut ties?
He'd show her whether she could cut ties or not!
Steven yanked open her windbreaker. Inside, her soft body wore only a white camisole, with just underwear beneath.
Steven's hand slipped inside the camisole.
Her expression changed completely.
He began to punish her.
"Steven!"
Nora's eyes widened.
This bastard!
What was he doing!
He kept groping her, touching her!
Nora's face flushed red, biting her teeth, but she still couldn't help crying out—humiliating and painful...
Steven's breathing became irregular, too.
Very heavy.
He was teasing her, but he was suffering too, his whole body tense. Moreover, he wasn't someone who would deny himself.
He held her tight and leaned down to kiss her neck...
"You can't treat me like this!" Nora was very angry. Being wrongly accused and then bullied, her heart was full of rage. She pounded him, hit him.
But she couldn't shake him at all.
Annoyed by the bullying, Nora thrust her head forward and bit down hard on Steven's shoulder.
She used all her strength.
She bit his shoulder until it bled.
Steven frowned and commanded coldly, "Let go!"
"You let go first!" Nora glared at him.
In that instant, she was like a little wildcat showing her claws, her eyes burning with fire, looking extremely seductive—making him want to conquer her and make her cry.
Steven narrowed his eyes, gripping her chin, his gaze burning and dangerous, "Don't cry later."
Nora's expression changed as he pounced on her again.
Nora swung her fist hard at him, but couldn't stop his attack at all.
