Chapter 141 Nora Feels Sorry for Steven
Her mind was in chaos as Steven leaned in closer, his thin lips brushing against her earlobe and biting.
His breath was scorching hot, burning her ears red.
Nora let out a gasp, her voice lazy and seductive.
Steven's body tensed. His hand was under her skirt, caressing her more and more boldly.
Nora's breathing became increasingly ragged because of him.
Her mouth was dry.
"Steven..." she called his name.
"Good girl." Steven's voice seemed laced with some kind of drug, mesmerizing Nora.
With one motion, he pulled off her skirt from under the covers.
Nora instinctively curled up.
He wouldn't let her, pressing down her legs and moving closer...
Nora knew there was no escape. She closed her eyes, her eyelashes trembling slightly, uneasy and not daring to move.
"It's okay, let it out." Steven held her and reminded her.
Nora was so scared inside, her whole body tense.
But at this moment, she didn't know what to say.
So she just held her breath and stayed silent.
"Don't be so nervous." Steven bit her ear as a reminder, "Relax a little."
Nora whimpered softly. His body burned her like fire. She couldn't relax at all and could only tilt her head back and cry out.
Her voice was coquettish and very alluring.
Steven's eyes darkened as he brought her to climax...
This lovemaking went on for two hours.
As usual, after once, Nora refused to continue. She leaned against Steven's shoulder, her body limp, her long hair damp.
Her eyes were also teary.
She looked at Steven reproachfully, "Steven, I can't, I can't take it."
Steven looked at her exhausted yet somehow tempting appearance, and his body heated up again.
His Adam's apple bobbed as he leaned down to kiss the tip of her nose, his voice hoarse to the extreme, "Does it still hurt that much?"
"Yes," her voice was weak, "The first few times are very painful for women, Olivia told me. I'm still not used to it..."
Steven was a bit surprised, "You and Olivia talk about these things?"
"We talk about everything."
"Okay."
Steven saw how tired she was and didn't force her anymore. Although he wasn't satisfied yet, she had just started experiencing this and needed to take it slow.
Otherwise, if he hurt her, it would leave an even deeper shadow.
It's just that her body was too weak - every time after just once, she couldn't continue.
"You should go exercise later." Steven sat up. The satisfied man had very gentle features.
"What?" Why was he suddenly talking about exercise?
"Your body is too weak. Every time after that, you can't go on." Steven's voice was hoarse as he looked at her, suddenly wanting to kiss her.
Nora thought there was going to be another round and pushed him away in fear, "It's not that my body is weak..."
She was being kissed, her voice breaking up, "It's that you're too intense."
One or two hours of lovemaking each time - who could handle that?
"Stop kissing me." Nora refused, "I need to take a shower."
The stickiness afterward was uncomfortable without a shower.
Steven stopped and looked at her for a moment, then picked her up.
He wanted to bathe her.
But Nora didn't know what he was planning and instinctively tried to dodge, "No! I really don't want to anymore."
"I just want to give you a bath." His eyes were full of teasing amusement.
Nora froze, then continued shaking her head, "No, I don't want you to bathe me. You go shower yourself, I'll shower later."
Even though they were married, she still wasn't used to being completely naked with Steven.
She'd rather wash herself.
Otherwise, bathing face-to-face would be too awkward!
"Okay." Since she didn't want to, Steven didn't insist. Naked, he walked from the sunlight into the bathroom.
This Steven was getting more and more shameless, walking around without any clothes on.
She'd be embarrassed looking at him!
Once he entered the bathroom to shower, Nora quickly ran off.
She wouldn't let Steven see her naked.
But as soon as she got out of bed, she found that both her legs were shaking.
Like they'd been crushed.
She couldn't even close them together.
She limped to her own room, found some clothes, and went to shower in the living room bathroom.
When she came out, she had washed her hair too. Wearing comfortable pajamas, she sat on the sofa drying her hair.
Steven came out of the master bedroom, already dressed in his suit for going out, as handsome as ever, calm and composed.
God, he was handsome!
Nora held the towel and sighed.
Steven looks so good!
Steven leaned against the wall, watching Nora for a while.
He went back to the master bedroom, got the hair dryer, plugged it into a nearby outlet, and dried Nora's hair for her.
Nora didn't refuse, just felt a bit embarrassed.
This was the first time Steven had dried her hair... their relationship seemed to have gotten closer.
So making love really could bring people closer together.
Nora thought absentmindedly.
After some time, Steven flicked her forehead, "What are you daydreaming about? Your hair is dry."
She responded and touched her own hair - it was indeed dry.
Steven brought over some ointment and applied it to the scrapes on her palms. "The wounds seem to have scabbed over."
"Yes." The bloody marks were from last night's fall, and after a night's sleep, they had healed quite a bit.
Steven glanced at her, "Are your legs sore today?"
This question made Nora blush.
Her nose seemed to start sweating again. She said quietly, "A little bit."
"Then why don't you rest at home today?" Steven looked into her eyes, "I'll come home early tonight to keep you company."
"No need, I'll still go to the hospital to see Olivia later." Nora felt this time was much better than the last time. Last time it felt like her bones had been taken apart, but this time was slightly - just slightly - better, not as uncomfortable.
She thought of something and asked, "Do you want to eat breakfast at home?"
"Breakfast? Do you know what time it is now?"
Nora glanced at the time - it was almost eleven in the morning.
"Ah! Steven, it's almost eleven, don't you need to go to work?" All because of this morning's lovemaking.
Steven raised an eyebrow, "I took the morning off."
"Isn't that bad to do all the time?" Nora muttered quietly, "I remember you've already taken time off twice this month."
"It's fine, I'm in management, my schedule is relatively flexible. I can go in later, as long as I'm there by two in the afternoon." In reality, whether he went or not, no one dared to say anything. He was about to take over the entire York Development Group - who would dare say anything to him?
"Then let's eat lunch at home?" Nora looked at him, "There's still some beef frozen at home. I'll make two bowls of beef pasta; it'll be quick."
"Okay."
Since Nora insisted on eating at home, Steven could only agree.
She went into the kitchen to cook.
Steven went to the balcony to water her plants.
Nora came over smiling - some of the vegetables were ready to eat. She picked a little to add to the pasta.
Steven thought this life was really good. Every so often, he would sigh like this in his heart.
He leisurely sat on the sofa reading.
Nora answered Olivia's call in the kitchen, "Hello, Olivia."
"Nora, were you okay last night?" Olivia was worried something had happened to Nora.
"I'm fine, Olivia. I just got lost at the scenic area yesterday, but the search and rescue team found me later."
"You didn't get hurt or anything?"
"No, Olivia. I'll come see you with Steven after we finish lunch."
Olivia felt relieved, "Okay."
Nora finished making the pasta and brought out one bowl, "Steven, your pasta is in the kitchen, go get it yourself."
"Okay," Steven responded, put down his book, and went to get the pasta.
The two sat facing each other eating.
Nora saw the salmon and other food on the table. She lifted the lid - the salmon sashimi from last night was no longer fresh.
Nora looked at the food, suddenly feeling a bit guilty, "Did you buy this last night?"
"Yes," Steven answered casually.
Nora felt it was such a waste. It was supposed to be a romantic and wonderful date night, but they didn't get to enjoy any of it!
All Mr. Hayes's fault!
Walking around randomly, getting lost, and falling into a trap!
"Why didn't you wake me up last night?" Nora asked.
"I saw you were too tired, so I didn't wake you," Steven said while eating his pasta.
Nora felt bad about that box of salmon sashimi.
"This must have been expensive, right?" she asked, using her utensils to pick at it, wanting to see if it had gone bad.
Steven stopped her, "Don't eat it. You can't eat it after it's been out overnight. I'll throw it away when I leave."
"Let me just try it. If it hasn't gone bad, I'll eat a little." After all, it was Steven's thoughtfulness - he had specially prepared it last night.
Thinking about this, Nora felt even more guilty and almost wanted to cry.
"No!" Steven held down her hand, his face serious, "What if you get an upset stomach? That would be worse."
"It's just that... this was all carefully prepared by you, it was your thoughtfulness..." She felt so guilty that there was a crying tone in her voice.
Steven paused, then smiled, "Don't cry, we'll buy it again next time."
Steven hadn't expected Nora to cry over a plate of salmon sashimi, and her crying filled his heart with tenderness.
Steven took a tissue and wiped her tears, "Eat your pasta. Your pasta is delicious too - I've almost finished mine."
"Okay!" After Steven wiped away her tears, Nora smiled.
After eating, Steven drove Nora to the hospital.
Her phone in her bag rang.
Nora took it out - it was Willie calling.
"Who's calling you?" Steven asked while driving.
"Willie." Nora's tone was unfriendly as she put it on speaker so Steven could listen too.
"Nora, it's me." Willie's voice came through the phone.
"What do you want?"
"Olivia's phone seems to be on airplane mode. I keep calling but can't get through." Olivia's phone was on airplane mode, and Willie had tried several different numbers but couldn't reach her. Their whole family's contact information had been blocked by Olivia, and now they couldn't find her.
Nora didn't say anything.
Willie continued on his own, "Nora, which hospital is Olivia staying at now?"
Nora said, "She's recovering now. Can't you people just leave her alone? Let her rest for a few days, okay?"
"It's not that I won't leave her alone. Relatives are all blocking our door at home. You know about Willow's situation - the court hearing is next week. I heard Olivia hired a very famous lawyer. How did she manage that? Where did she get the money?"
Willie's family couldn't figure out how Olivia had hired that famous lawyer.
"That's my husband's friend," Nora said directly.
Steven heard this and smiled slightly while driving.
