Coaching My Enemy: The Ice Legend's Obsession

Julian Vance was the untouchable king of figure skating. I was the arrogant rookie who stepped onto the ice to steal his flawless crown. We never spoke. We only glared across the rink, separated by a bitter, freezing hatred. A significant scandal ended Julian's exceptional career. The Ice King lost everything. The ultimate punishment required him to exit all public view while moving to my private rink where he would train as my new coach. The man I believed I hated became my ruler because he controlled all aspects of my life. The training sessions force us to work harder except they show that our friendship is breaking apart because our relationship needs time to heal. Our situation involves two people who used to be coach and athlete but now battle for dominance. The two of us who refuse to give ground face off against each other in a battle that occurs during nighttime hours. The empty locker room creates terrifying, breathless tension which actually develops into a strong desire that will destroy both of us. I believed that we both wanted to end each other's lives. Until I accidentally unlocked his phone... and found his meticulously curated playlist of my routines. He found my secret hard drive which contained every single interview he had ever given. The toxic rivalry we shared turned out to be a breathtaking deception. It was always a dark, filthy obsession. Now, we are going to completely shatter the ice.
