Chapter46
Early the next morning, Maryanne was woken up by the ringing of the telephone.
She rubbed her eyes sleepily and reached for her phone to answer the call.
She answered the phone without looking at the number.
“Maryanne, you killed Madam Jimenez, you come to the Jimenez’s villa immediately,” came Danna’s arrogant voice from the other side.
Maryanne woke up immediately when she heard that her grandmother had an accident.
She sat up, her voice cold: “What did you say?”
“Humph! Maryanne, you’re still pretending, you’re so ambitious, not only do you want Madam Jimenez’s shares, but you also caused Madam Jimenez to fall into a coma. After Madam Jimenez took your medicine, she has been unconscious and unresponsive. The share transfer document is also missing. You come to me immediately.”
Maryanne frowned, she had already rejected Madam Jimenez, why was this still happening.
Only the four of them knew what happened that day.
Danna has always coveted the shares in Madam Jimenez’s hands, and now that the share transfer document is missing, it is definitely related to Danna.
“I’ll be right there,” Maryanne hung up the phone and called Layton.

“Ms. Nelson.”
“Layton, take a trip to the Jimenez’s villa with some people, investigate Madam Jimenez’s shares, speed is key, check around Mrs. Jimenez and Cristofer, keep a close eye on the stock market side, once the shares of these two individuals exceed fifteen percent, take control immediately. remember not to let anyone discover your identity, act quickly.”
Layton: “Okay, Ms. Nelson.”
Maryanne hung up the phone, thought about the unconscious Liana, and then messaged Laura to quietly set off.
She quickly got up and washed up. After preparing some things, she instructed Maggie to prepare the car to go to the old house.
Twenty minutes later, Maryanne walked through the gates of the Jimenez’s villa with Maggie.
Maryanne looked at the familiar villa, thinking she would never set foot here again, but a few days later, she stepped inside once more.
And she came in this way, with coldness in her eyes, who betrayed. her, this time, she would not tolerate it anymore.
She quickly entered the hall, where Cristofer and Danna were, with a servant kneeling on the floor.
Danna saw Maryanne coming to her door looking foolish, a wicked smile crossing her eyes.
Maryanne looked at Cristofer across from her, his eyes cold and sharp like a knife piercing through her.
Maryanne’s heart ached so much at that moment that she found it difficult to breathe.
…
Knowing that he wouldn’t believe her, she still held onto a glimmer of hope.
“Maryanne, why did you treat Grandma like this?” Cristofer was furious, his crimson eyes filled with a murderous intent
She actually dared to lay hands on her grandmother
How could she, how could she… Grandma loved her so much, how could she do it?
Maryanne’s heart suddenly ached, could he really accuse her of doing it?
“Cristofer, have I ever done anything to make you want to set me up?”
She knew Cristofer would not believe her, once that man had made up his mind, it was hard to change.
“You said no, but Frida admitted it. It was you who did it. You gave her two million as a reward. She transferred her grandmother’s shares to you. You even tampered with grandma’s medicine, Maryanne, you deserve to die.”
Christopher’s eyes turned red with anger, he didn’t want to believe that she had done it, but the evidence was right in front of him.
Combining with her heartless betrayal several months ago, he had to believe that the woman he loved had a heart as cold as a snake.
“Pah…” Cristofer slapped Maryanne hard.
Maryanne was stunned, the slap was too heavy, she had a brief ringing in her ears, and couldn’t hear anything around her.
Tears fell uncontrollably, she suppressed the pain in her heart, looking up at the heartless man.

This was not the first time Cristofer hit her. A few months ago, he came back with Latoya, he was drunk, that night he was very upset. kept asking her why, she didn’t understand, he said he wanted a divorce, she disagreed, he slapped her.
“Boss,” reacted Maggie, angrily shouting as she charged towards Cristofer.
“Maggie, stop,” Maryanne quickly intervened.
Maggie’s fist, which was swinging towards Cristofer, abruptly stopped
She clenched her lips in anger, unable to bear seeing the boss being bullied like this.
“Boss…”
“Don’t lay a hand on me,” Maryanne looked at Cristofer across from her, her eyes cold. “First, resolve the situation. The Jimenez family wrongly accused me. Once you find out the truth. then you can take action.”
Maggie glared at Cristofer fiercely.
Christopher looked at Maryanne’s swollen cheeks, his gaze deep as the sea, his chest aching fiercely.
