Chapter 31 Let’s Make Love
Will’s P.O.V.
We’re both sitting on my couch. Iva is wearing nothing but my shirt, exposing her bare legs. I’m beside her in just my trousers, still trying to catch my breath from the way she looks when she’s wrapped in something that belongs to me.
The food container sits open on the coffee table, and she insists on feeding me.
She brings the spoon toward my mouth with a smile on her face. I lean forward, opening my mouth, but instead of focusing on the food, I find myself focusing on her, the softness in her eyes, the way she’s smiling at me with such immense love.
Fuck. My chest tightens with emotions, and I can’t hold it in anymore.
“I love you.”
Her eyes widen instantly. The spoon slips from her fingers as she freezes, staring at me. “What?” She asks, looking at me in surprise.
Of course, she wasn’t expecting this, my sudden confession, the words I’ve held back for far too long. But I couldn’t stop them. I couldn’t hold it in another second.
It just… slipped out.
“I love you, Professor,” I repeat, this time firmer, my heart racing. “Since when… I don’t even know. I was planning a romantic proposal, but I just can’t hold it in anymore. Not when you’re here, sitting in my shirt, looking like the only thing that matters in this world.”
I take her hand gently in mine and press a soft kiss to her knuckles, holding my lips there for a moment as if the touch could brand her into me.
Her lips part, and I can see the conflict in her eyes. “Will… I love you, but—”
I silence her, placing my finger on her lips. “I know what you’re going to say. You’re worried about our future, about your job, about the world finding out.” I cup her face, making her meet my eyes. “But don’t worry. Until I graduate, we’ll keep our secret safe. I won’t let you lose everything you’ve worked for. I promise you that.”
The crease of worry disappears from her face, and her eyes become moist as she throws her arms around me, hugging me tightly. “I’m grateful to have a man like you in my life, Will.”
I bury my face in her hair, inhaling her scent, and place a kiss on her head, pulling her closer as if I could fuse her to me. “And you’re everything I ever wanted. I don’t ever want to lose you.”
For a moment, we both lose ourselves in each other.
Then, I pull back with a grin and say, “Now, I have something for you. Wait here.”
Her brows knit in confusion as I hurry to the bedroom. I open the drawer of my nightstand and take out the tiny velvet box I’ve been hiding for days. I had planned to give this to her the day I confessed my love, and though tonight wasn’t planned, it feels more perfect than anything I could have arranged.
When I return, her eyes widen at the sight of the box. I sit beside her on the couch and open it to reveal a heart-shaped pendant.
Her fingers brush over the pendant, admiration shining in her eyes. “It’s so pretty.”
“There’s something special about it.”
Listening to my words, she looks up instantly with curiosity. “Special? Wow… what is it?”
I take the pendant gently from her hand, and with a soft click, I open the tiny heart-shaped locket.
Inside is a miniature photo of us, one I secretly took on the night she fell asleep on my chest, her head tucked under my chin, both of us wrapped in the blanket. The moment had been too perfect not to capture.
She takes the pendant from my hand, staring at the picture as if it’s the most precious thing she’s ever seen.
“It’s incredible. I love it.” She leans in and kisses my cheek, making me grin.
“I’m glad.” I brush a strand of hair behind her ear. “Now… let me put it on you.”
She turns slightly, lifting her hair, exposing the curve of her neck. I unclasp the chain and bring it around her. She shivers when the cool metal touches her skin. I fasten the pendant gently at the back and let it settle just above her collarbone.
I lean in and kiss her neck, savouring the moment, the closeness, the intimacy.
I whisper in her ear, “I’m giving you my heart, Professor. Keep it safe.”
When she turns back to me, the pendant rests perfectly against her chest.
And for a moment, I swear my heart forgets how to beat. It suits her.
She touches the locket gently, then kisses it. “Always. It’ll stay on my neck forever.”
I press a kiss to her forehead, holding her against me, knowing in this moment, no matter what, I’ll never let her go.
After finishing the food, I pull her gently onto my lap. She straddles me with ease, wrapping her legs around my waist and draping her arms over my shoulders. Her soft curves press into me, and our eyes lock.
I grip her hips firmly, guiding her to move slowly against me. The friction builds as her body rubs against the hardness straining under my trousers, and she lets out a moan.
“Let’s make love, slow and gentle,” I say in husky tone with want but my voice laced with tenderness.
Her lips curl into a teasing smile. “Will you even be able to fuck me slowly and gently?”
I chuckle, brushing my nose against hers. “I don’t know… because I never have. But I want to. With you.”
She smiles with her entire heart, pressing her forehead to mine. “Then today… make love to me, Will.”
“Yes… Professor.” I kiss her deeply.
My hands tighten on her hips as I rise, keeping her locked around me. She clings to me with her arms around my neck and her legs tight around my waist.
I walk us toward the bedroom, our lips sealed, our tongues tangling in hungry strokes. With every step, she grinds against me, making me harder for her.
Her fingers dig into my shoulders as she devours my lips.
For once, I don’t want fast, rough, or wild. I want to savour her. Every inch of her body.
When I reach the bed, I lower her down carefully, caging her beneath me, my hand cradling the back of her head as if she’s the most fragile, precious thing I’ve ever held.
“Your soft side makes my heart full, always.” She caresses my stubble, her eyes fixed on me.
I press a tender kiss against her mouth. “It’s only for you, Professor. Only you make me want to love like this.”
I rest my forehead against hers, letting our breaths mix. I brush a strand of hair away from her face, letting my fingertips trace the line of her jaw, memorising her all over again. Tonight isn’t about dominance or punishment, it’s about every unspoken feeling I’ve held for her, every moment I’ve wanted to show her what she means to me.
“I want to feel you.” My voice is rough with emotion more than desire. “All of you… not just your body. Your heart.”
She cups my face gently, her thumb brushing my cheek. “Then take your time with me, Will. I’m yours.”
As I kiss all over her face, my hands explore her carefully as if I’m tracing something sacred. The world outside fades, the noise, the rules, the fear—gone. It’s just her heartbeat under my palm, her breath against my mouth, her body fitting perfectly beneath mine.
