Chapter 12

"Quit staring!" Damon growled.

He turned his back on her, still mixing his Bicol Express as she stood behind him.

Samantha leaned against the table and crossed her arms, grinning and staring at Damon.

"What? Is it bad to stare now?" she answered playfully.

Damon looked at her angrily. His forehead was furrowed. He was definitely annoyed with her.

"You're mocking me! It's irritating, so stop it," he said emphatically. Damon's cheeks were still slightly red, which made her laugh, only increasing Damon's annoyance. He gave her a sharp stare. "I'm warning you, Samantha," he said, his jaw tightening.

She raised both her hands as if giving up. But there was still a big grin on her lips. "Okay, okay. But I can't promise that I won't stare," she said playfully. "Why is it that of all the colors, you chose pink? And a Hello Kitty design, no less! I never would have guessed you liked cute things," she said as she tried not to laugh.

Damon once again focused on what he was cooking.

Maybe he was trying to hide his embarrassment? Samantha laughed again at the thought.

"Instead of laughing your ass off and making fun of me, why don't you come here and help? You're not even paying attention to what I'm doing," Damon said seriously.

Samantha lowered her hands and crossed them again. "Nah. Listening to your cooking instructions is boring. You're the only one who thinks it's fun. I'd rather be asleep right now, you know?" she answered with a frown on her face.

Damon turned to her again. "All you do is complain. If you were actually listening to me, you'd think this was fun too. Why don't you come closer so that I can teach you better?" Damon said with a hint of irritation in his voice.

"I don't want to," she stubbornly said.

She was shocked when Damon suddenly grabbed one of her hands and pulled her until their bodies were touching.

She looked up at him. "What the…"

Damon had a triumphant grin on his lips. "Don't be stubborn. We both know that you've never been able to resist me." He then wrapped one of his arms around her waist.

Samantha's whole body seemed to be electrified when Damon momentarily caressed her waist.

Samantha put both of her hands on Damon's chest and pushed him away, trying to get some space between them.

She stepped away from him and gave him a sharp stare.

"Spare me your cheap seduction techniques, Damon," she said with her head held high, but Damon's grin only widened.

"Come on, Samantha. You know you enjoy being seduced by me," he said mischievously.

Samantha's cheeks warmed.

"Now who's embarrassed?" Damon asked, tone still mischievous.

Samantha hummed first, trying to meet Damon's gaze, but she couldn't. So in the end, she just avoided looking at him.

"I'm going back to my room. Just call me when you're done cooking. I can't help you anyway," she said and marched out of the kitchen.

Damon was getting on her nerves. She got more and more annoyed with every word he said, especially because she knew that they were true.

But before she could leave the kitchen, Damon grabbed one of her hands again.

With a look of disgust on her face, she turned towards Damon. "What is it now? Why the hell are you so persistent?" she said in irritation as she forcibly removed her hand from Damon's tight grip.

"Is running away all you know how to do?" Damon said. Then without warning, he pulled her back against him.

She struggled, but Damon still wouldn't let go of her. In fact, his grip on her hand tightened as he pulled her towards the stove. When they were in front of the stove, he positioned himself behind her. He let go of her hand but then quickly wrapped his arms around her waist.

She looked at him over her shoulder. "Let go of—" But she couldn't finish her sentence because Damon had claimed her lips, kissing her hard.

Her eyes widened. She hadn't expected that.

The kiss only lasted a few seconds, but her heartbeat was already raging.

Their faces were still close together. They both stared at each other. Not a word escaped Samantha's lips. She couldn't say anything. Staring into Damon's eyes was the only thing she could do. She didn't know why she couldn't tear her eyes away from Damon's. It was like there was a string pulling her gaze to his.

"Do you want more, sweetheart?" The mischievous question from Damon brought her back to her senses.

She quickly averted her gaze and forcibly removed his arms from around her waist. She succeeded in removing them, but Damon immediately pulled her into his arms again.

"Hey!" she yelled in an annoyed tone as she continued to struggle, but he only tightened his grip, which only made her even more annoyed.

"Let go of me already!" she said loudly. But Damon surprised her by suddenly burying his face in her neck, causing her to freeze. It was like she was rooted to the ground.

Without pulling his face away from her neck, Damon shook his head. He seemed to be telling her that he did not want to remove his hands from her waist.

Samantha just sighed. She knew there was no point in complaining. She had already tried that many times. So she just stayed still and let him continue to embrace her.

After all, it was just a hug.

A few minutes passed, but they didn't move from that position. It seemed that Damon didn't want to let her go.

Samantha could feel Damon's hot breath on her neck. She just stared at the Bicol Express on the stove. It looked like Damon had already forgotten about it. Samantha didn't know if it was done or what, but she decided to turn off the stove anyway.

"Why won't you break up with your boyfriend, Samantha?" Damon suddenly asked, startling her slightly.

"Because I love him," she answered honestly.

Damon chuckled a little. "You love him? Really?" he said as if he didn't believe her.

She sighed again. Maybe it was time for them to finally talk. She wanted to hear Damon's side, and she wanted him to hear hers. But most of all, she wanted this madness to be over. Because the longer they stayed together, the more she would change and the guiltier she'd feel about all of this.

"Damon, I don't know what you want from me. You barely even know me. Yes, something happened between us, but that isn't enough for you to keep me here."

Lifting his face from her neck, Damon looked at her. Then, keeping one hand on her waist, he tilted her head to face him. They looked into each other's eyes. And she saw an emotion in Damon that she could not name.

"Honestly, I don't know why I'm doing all of this. But after our night together, you never left my mind, Samantha. I can't get you out of my system. Your beautiful face. Your luscious body. Your voice. The way you gasp and moan. I can still smell you. Taste you. I remember everything, Samantha. Everything." She felt the sincerity in his words. Even the way he was looking at her screamed honesty. Samantha did not speak. She just waited for him to continue. She wanted to hear everything he had to say, to confess. "That second night at the bar, that was an accident. I didn't know you were working there. But the moment I saw you, I wanted to be with you again. To do those dirty things with you again. I suddenly needed to taste you, to fuck you, over and over again." There was a hint of sexiness in his voice, and Samantha would be lying if she said she wasn't affected by it. "You feel it too, don't you? You feel the same way, right? You want me too, Samantha. Just admit it."

"But it's wrong," she immediately responded. "Everything that's happened between us, all of it was a mistake, Damon."

"But you knew from the beginning that this was wrong, yet you still did it. You still let me into your life," Damon answered, his jaw clenching.

Samantha didn't know how to respond to that. Damon's words had hit her so hard she was unable to speak.

"I-I was d-drunk that night…" she said in a low voice.

"What about yesterday? What about last night? And this morning?" He removed his hand from her waist and placed it on her cheek. He softly caressed it, trailing his fingers down to her lips. "You can't use that excuse, Samantha. You weren't drunk yesterday, but you still gave in to me. You still let me claim you over and over again. So what are you going to do now?" There was a streak of seriousness in his voice. "If you loved your boyfriend, you wouldn't let me do these things to you. But you do let me. And yet you still claim you love him? I highly doubt that, sweetheart."

Her fists clenched. She knew she loved Alfred—she was sure of it—and Damon had no right to question her feelings for her boyfriend.

"Yes, I let you fuck me. I admit I've been weak. I've become fragile. But the fact that Alfred owns my heart will not change. You only took my body, Damon, not my heart," she said with conviction.

She was sure of her answer. She was sure that when she and Alfred were together again, her body would forget everything Damon had done.

This was just temporary. She would forget the desire she felt for Damon. But now, now that she was with Damon, why shouldn't she give in to her body's wishes? After all, it was only her body that he wanted. The day would come when he'd get bored of her, and he would stop what he was doing to her.

No, Samantha. Don't cross that line, she silently scolded herself.

"Don't be so sure, Samantha. Claiming your body was so easy. I'm sure that it'll be the same for your heart. You'll fall in love with me, Samantha," Damon said, grinning. Then he glued their foreheads together, and she smelled his fragrant breath. She gasped when Damon suddenly pressed his already hard manhood into her abdomen. "See? You're already reacting to me even though I'm barely touching you," he naughtily said.

She raised both hands to push him away, but Damon quickly stopped her.

"What? You're still trying to run away? Sorry, sweetheart, but I can't let you do that," he said, and she couldn't speak anymore because he had quickly and roughly claimed her lips.

She gasped as their lips parted. The hand that had been caressing her cheek was now on her arm, where he began to stroke her.

Their foreheads were still touching, and their serious gazes met. "Be honest with me, Samantha. Be honest." He pressed their lips together again, pressing his cock even harder against her abdomen. "You want me, right? You want me," he said, biting her lower lip, his hand still caressing her arm.

Samantha closed her eyes. She could feel the hardness of his manhood, and it was greatly affecting her body. Her femininity was starting to get wet.

When she opened her eyes, Damon's lustful gaze met hers.

Ah, to hell with what my mind says, she thought, and she claimed Damon's lips, jumping up and wrapping her legs around his waist.

Forgive me, Alfred, but I can't take it anymore.
