Chapter 195 THE PERVERTED SAVIOR

Chapter 195 THE PERVERTED SAVIOR
ALISANDER’S POV

The moment the false goddess disappears beneath the earth, I immediately collapse to one of my knees propping me up.

And I cough out blood.
A lot of blood chunks.

It splatters all across the forest floor in a dark worrying shade of red that feels hot against my lips.

Ah.
There it is, the price of what I just did.

Twenty years of my life.
Good thing that after siphoning her powers, I also managed to siphon a part of her immortality.

Pretty good bargain for me.

I laugh weakly between coughs because of course me sealing a centuries old parasite would nearly kill me.

Maybe that's what she was also banking on.
She'll soon figure out that she has no immortality now.

She is practically a mortal being without her powers or immortality.

She won't even be alive for much longer to see the chains disappear.

Sebastian groans somewhere in the back of my mind like he's judging all of my choices.

“You are absolutely insane, Alisander.”

“That,” I wheeze out, wiping blood from my mouth, “is not new information to you.”

The chains are still humming beneath the earth. I can still feel the chains humming from beneath me.

A thousand years.
She won't even live for more than two hundred of them.

Maybe even less than that if fate decides to be merciful to me for once.

My vision blurs and tilts as I see right across me, Lance is standing frozen and staring at the ground in shock like he can't even fathom what just happened.

Honestly?

Fair. I wasn't even sure I could do this.

I cough once again and force my head up to look at him.

“Lance,” I rasp out, making him flinch at the sound of my voice.

Interesting, fear looks good on him.
Especially after the scent stunt he had pulled earlier on.

“Help,” I managed to utter.

It's not because I particularly want him to help me, but it's because Ragnar is bleeding a mere three feet in front of me and I feel my organs are turning to mush.

Lance’s eyes snap towards Ragnar, then towards his wound that has black streaks moving from them.

His expression twists into something unrecognizable as he utters,
“...he's dying…?”

His expression twists once more from confusion to horror.

It's clear he really didn’t think this could happen to him.

He didn't know that Ragnar would throw himself in front of a blade for us.

For me and Sebastian.

“Please,” I say once again, a bit weaker this time.

For one terrible second, I think he might actually do it. He might actually step forward and help Ragnar.

After all, no matter how much he doesn't like me, he likes Ragnar.

Instead, he merely turns around and runs.

“Fantastic,” I mutter as Sebastian stirs inside our head.

“He just left?!”

“Yes.”

“How… depressing.”

“Mm.” I agree with him.

The forest feels quieter and even more dangerous like something from the altar area but I ignore it.

I have no time for investigation right now, Ragnar is my pressing concern now.
He's dying.

I drag myself toward him slowly with my elbows as I try to recall the poison she liked bragging about to me when I was chained.

The poison in that blade was made for gods and monsters, not Ragnar.

Idiot.

Beautiful and suicidal idiot!

When I finally reach him, he’s still conscious but barely.

He actually managed to last even longer than Dax.
A wave of sadness comes up when I remember Dax but I push it away and focus on the blood stained Ragnar.

I stare at him for a long moment before I instinctively reach for the remaining power and immortality inside of me.

It's so much power and life force that after centuries, it would finally be enough for me.

Enough for me to build myself a real Alpha body once again.

Separate from this cursed shared existence that weakened me, my freedom.
The thought hits harder than I expect.

No more existing as half of a soul crammed into Sebastian's body, I could finally become free and powerful again.

The temptation nearly swallows me but Ragnar's cough wakes me back to this reality.

The reality where he stepped in front of a poisoned blade for me.

I make my choice instantly.

“Oh, you forward bastard,” I whisper fondly to him as I press my hands over his wound and put everything into him.

Red light erupts from my hands as ancient Gaelic spells out of my mouth.

“Fuil gu feòil…”
(Blood to flesh.)

“Cnàimh gu slàn…”
(Bone made whole.)

“Till an anail…”
(Return the breath.)

Power surges violently through Ragnar’s body beneath my hands as the cunning poison fights back instantly as the black veins spread even faster.

I snarl back at it and shove more magic into him forcefully.

“Le solas na gealaich–”
(By light of the moon–)

“Le teine na seann fhuil–”
(By the fire of ancient blood–)

“Bi beò a-rithist!”
(Live again!)

Pain detonates through me as the healing drains through everything I have in me, far too much.

I can faintly hear Sebastian shouting inside our head.

“Alisander, stop! You'll kill yourself!”

“No.”

“You’re using everything!”

“Yes.”

“If you keep going, you’ll lose your chance to get a body!”

I laugh weakly. He finally figured it out.

“Chance at what?”

“Your own body you oaf!”

Ah, that.
But as I look down to see Ragnar, the man who'd rather he died than I did, I regret nothing.

The choice doesn’t even hurt me at all.

“He’d do the same for me,” I murmur, making Sebastian go quiet for a moment.

“…Yeah. He would.”

More magic pours from me making me squint and grunt from the pain.

“Alisander if you heal him fully… if you drain yourself dry… we may never separate, ever.”

“I know.”

“You were an Alpha once.”

“Yes, tragic, I know.”

“And now you’re stuck sharing a body with an Omega like me forever.”

“Please,” I wheezed sarcastically, fighting the blood that wanted to come up from my throat.

“I’ve already accepted that I apparently enjoy being bent over by Ragnar.”

Sebastian makes a horrified sound of embarrassment.

I grin tiredly at his blushing and continue,

“And I'll even enjoy it physically too.”

“ALISANDER!”

“Oh, relax. We both know you’ve thought about it too.”

That finally shuts him up as the final phase finishes and Ragnar's entire body jerks up and he gasps.

_

Relief crashes through me so hard when I see the poison and the wound have both disappeared. For a moment, it almost feels like peace for me.

Ragnar blinks up at the trees above us in confusion before staring at me like he has a thousand questions.

“…You look terrible,” he finally rasped out, making me grin.

“You’re welcome daddy.”

Then, because I’m exhausted and perhaps a bit delirious from the power overload and drainage, I shamelessly grab his chest and squeeze.

“Mm,” I mumble approvingly at it. “Still built like a delicious snack.”

Ragnar looks deeply alarmed and inside, Sebastian wants to disappear with the false goddess into the earth.
And then, everything goes black.

I collapse directly on top of Ragnar and pass out fully.
