Alpha Draven POV

Seeing my mate hugged that Omega tightly as they both wept loudly made my head ache and my heart clutch, I signalled to Killian to get his freaking mate off mine but he shook his head, afraid too to anger his mate.

"I'm sorry... I'm really sorry for making you worried, but I...I... I was just scared..." Ryker hurriedly explained to Elias without letting go of each other.

"You should have told me, you know how the enemies are plotting to capture you Ryker, it's not safe.." Elias reprimanded with a thin voice and I could see Ryker body tremble, his hands hugged Elias tightly and we all stood watching them.

"My Lord, I have important information regarding Bloodhowl pack." Theo mindlinked me, successfully distracting me from the emotional play displayed by my mate.

My wolf grumbled internally, we couldn't leave Elias not even for a second, I became even more obsessed with him this time.

"My Lord, Elder Fenrir and other pack elders are impatient regarding this issue." Theo added with his eyes sending signals to me.

"They can wait just a little longer, my mate is more important." I mindlinked with a tone and aura of finality and Theo bowed, not pursuing the matter no more, but I know I need to leave and address the pressing issues, my brows furrowed slightly thinking of how I can let Ryker know, he doesn't seem to want me out of his sight one bit.

"My Lord, my apprentice just informed me that something came up in the medicine academy, I'm afraid I'd have to take my leave." The pack Doctor mindlinked me with a feartone and I glared at him coldly, but seeing my mate up and about I just nodded at him, fine today I'm feeling magnanimous and I can let you all off today, the ruthless Lycan king would show mercy today.

"Thank you Your Majesty." He cupped his fists and left without looking back, the two Omega duo didn't even notice him leave, they are so busy in their won world to notice anybody.

"Why didn't you tell me, what happened?" Elias suddenly demanded in a angry tone and my ears pecked up, I know Kathy told him some stuffs to ignite him, but I don't know the details.

"I...I can't tell you now." Ryker muttered under his breath as he looked around the room, I sighed and stood up, I walked up to him and Elias retreated, giving me space to face my mate.

"Baby you talk to him, I have an important affair to attend to." I said in the most soothing voice I could muster but Ryker suddenly frowned, he forcefully removed my grips on him and walked back to the bed with folded hands.

"I understand, the pack affairs should be priotized, one lowsy lonely Omega doesn't matter at all." He muttered under his breathe with a huff as he sat on the huge king sized bed making me sigh even more.

Elias suddenly chuckled and walked in front of me, he bowed and turned to look at Ryker sucking face before turning to me.

"My Lord, you don't have to worry about him with me in here, he is only sucking, please ignore him and go ahead and settle your affairs." 

"You..."

"What? Am I really not enough for you? How can you taint the name of Omega's by calling yourself lowsy, do you think I'm not important enough to you?" Elias reprimanded and I could see the tears brewing within my mate eyes, I wanted to stop Elias from speaking but wouldn't that anger him even more.

"Get out right now, I don't want to see you ever again." Ryker screamed as he held his stomach in pains, my eyes darkened as I rushed to his position, but Elias beat me to it, he grabbed my mate hands and checked his pulse making my demeanor turned chilly..

"What do you think you are doing? How dare you!!" I berated with a high tone and Alpha tone, Elias bowed but continued, and just a glare from Ryker is enough to keep me back.

"He is okay but needs rest, my Lord you can leave and settle the pending affair, I will take care of him." Elias bowed as he pointed towards the door.

I clutched my fists tightly as I took one last look at my mate who didn't even bother looking up, I sighed and walked out with Theo and Killian following behind me.

"Does he have any medical experience?" I questioned Killian with a cold and dark voice.

"Yes my Lord, after realizing he is indeed my mate, I sought the help of the best physician to cure him, but after Elias recovered, he insisted on learning under the physician." Killian bowed and I nodded.

"Where are you headed to next my Lord?" Theo cupped his fists and my eyes dimmed slightly, last night I interrogated Talon personally and I just need to get the details today.

"Did you look into what I asked you to look into?" I asked and Theo nodded.



Last night at the Dungeon!

I walked in the cell of the traitors, they were chained standing with their hands up in the air, Kael seems super exhausted and almost at the brink of death, he was gasping strangely, even though I personally sent some doctors to treat them, he doesn't seem to be getting well, I now see the reason for Talon panic to negotiate with me, at this state he would die if not commencing treatment instantly.

"I'm here as you requested." I uttered with a cold voice, rembering my mate lying on tbe bed with injuries made me supper mad, this asshole led him right to the enemy, the only reason I'm still this calm is because I have to find out who did that to him.

"Please get us out of here and let him get immediate treatment." Talon uttered with a clutched fists and I chuckled darkly, I walked slowly towards him, his level of confidence and loyalty towards this Traitor is something I respect, even though i know the loyalty is out of love, not because he is obliged to, someone as stubborn as Talon wouldn't even be this loyal to any man if not because of love.

"It seems you greatly underestimate me Beta Talon." My hands grabbed the wolf's ban leaf I held with gloves as I proceeded.

"Not only did you call me at your own will, you demand such atrocity from me after commiting such a crime, do you really think I don't dare to draw my sword and kill both of you right here And now."

"I know that so well Alpha Draven, but you wouldn't be so ruthless to murder him, after all we indeed have good information." Talon said slowly and I sneered coldly.

"Brave of you to think I can't get my information from someone else, even if I kill right now, your father would be rather glad if removing a stubborn obstacle in his way." I said as I paced in front of them, my eyes lingering on the motionless Kael, he is indeed dying.

"Please, just get him out, I'd given you all the information about the pack that plotted with us to abduct your mate..." Seeing me not impressed by his words, Talon paused and sucked in, seeing how he panic, he kind of made me feel a sense of deja Vu.

"We know the exact whereabouts of your mate sister, if you help us this time, I'd also tell you about the Alpha trying to ascends to Lycan."

His words made me pause, not because of the Alpha who have the audacity to plot treason but because of Ryker's sister, I have searched far and wide and even right now my men are all searching for her whereabouts but no leads till now, I'm confident that I would be able to find her without the help of this traitors, but my only fear is if it would be too late by then, looking at the dying Prince Kael, I actually do not intend to let him die in my pack, as the enemy packs brewing in tbe dark might see this as a great opportunity to revolt and gang up against me, not that I'm scared of that, but this is a critical moment for my pack, my mate is pregnant and my inner wolf flares up here and there.

"Deal, guards!!" I shouted and more than three guards rushed into the cell room and bowed deeply.

"Arrange for them to be taken to the pack Doctor residence and given maximum medical care."

"Yes my Lord."

They carefully unchained Kael and carefully placed him on a chair, he appeared too weak to even lift a limp, Talon stared at him worriedly but when Kael lifted his face, he looked at him with resentment.

"Don't you dare say anything to him, I'd rather die than collide with him." Even though his voice was weak but his tone was still as strong as ever.

"Do you expect me to watch you die?" Talon reprimanded as the men unchained him.

"Yes Talon, don't you dare do this, I said I'd rather Fucking die than do his biddings, you don't care if I die, why would you care, you don't Fucking love me..cough cough..." Kael coughed out blood as he shouted, his condition wasn't any good, looking at the both of them I couldn't help but chuckle.

"I'd rather die than let you die in my presence, my Lord you need to rethink, let's ally with Alpha Draven instead okay? " Talon said making me frown, when did I mention allying with them.

"Take them out." I ordered and the guards carried the already unconscious Kael out of the cell, I mindlinked Theo to investigate Kael and Talon history in the past.
