Chapter Nineteen
Ryker POV
My eyes opened slowly as I scanned the entire room, I tried turning around but an intense sharp pain hit me from behind and I shouted.
Memories from the previous night came at me all at once and I shivered, it was so close, he didn't do it but the my butt hurt like crazy the first time he thrust into me.
My whole body hurts from all the lash and whips he gave me, at the thought of his cold face smirking at me in pain, I felt an instantly rage filled me, what have I done to deserve all this.
I forced myself to turn to the other side of the bed admist the pains and I nearly jumped off in fright.
"Why are you here?" I asked shocked, I couldn't even perceive his scent as I am very weak at the moment.
"Of course am here, is there a rule that says I can't be in here?" He replied sarcastically and I rolled my eyes at him.
I realized just then that I feel free with him, probably because he was same as me, a male wolfless Omega or because I feel a certain kind of connection with him.
"You look too pale, are you certain you would survive?" Elias voice was filled with worry as he asked.
I shook my head at him, how was I supposed to know that, my entire body felt numb and I couldn't even lift myself off the body.
"Is it why all his pets had died?" I asked, I had heard a servant whispering about how long I would last, it has become a fetish for Alpha Draven to kill off his pets with exhaustion.
"What are you talking about?" Elias said as he walked back to the bed with a glass of water, my nose flared up when he brought it closer to my lips.
"Am not taking that, get it out of here." I demanded angrily, I can't take water when am severally injured, I can't risk going into heat at this moment.
Seeing my red face, Elias probably understood, he was an Omega himself so he should, he sighed and dropped the water on the bed near the bed, his face ashen.
"If you don't take water, you would die anyways." He muttered coldly under his breath and I snickered.
"Am better off dying than risking going into heat at this moment."
"What do you do When you go into heat? Am curious, you didn't have a mate previously.."
"I take the suppressant Elias, the suppressant." I snapped, but he giggled.
"Yeah right, I wasn't about to think you were probably helped by an Alpha or just anyone quench your fire..hehe."
"Just shut the Fuck up." I cursed under my breath, my voice hoarse. When I couldn't take it anymore I damned the consequences and strectched out my hand for the water.
"That is more like it, whether you take the water or not, heat would certainly come, don't starve yourself." Seeing the genuine worry in his eyes, I suddenly felt emotional, this is the very first time someone had shown me worry.
"Stupid." I cursed but inside I have never felt so pleasant in my entire life.
"Don't try to dodge the question, is this how all his pets died? He haven't even had sex with me, but am in so much pain."
"His previous pets that died didn't just die of exhaustion Ryker, they die because they become too smug or try to betray Alpha Draven."
"How would they even do that? It's not like he let's them out, am locked in here all day.."
"That doesn't stop them from sending information out Ryker, even Servants were connected to send his information to enemies outside." Elias explained and I sighed.
I wanted to survive, I haven't yet avenged the death of my parents, even my missing sister, I want to find her before am killed.
"Why are you in here." I suddenly asked, it was strange enough he is in here and Alpha Draven happens to let the guards outside let him in all the time.
"I asked Killian to let me in." Elias said with a smug look and I rolled my eyes, yeah show off your mate in my face.
"Why would you want to come here?" I asked dryly, not at all interested in having the conversation.
"Because you are my only friend, before you came along the Pack members neither respected me because am mated to the Gamma or they don't simple don't want to befriend a wolfless Omega."
"I think I would incline to the earlier answer, ahh!!" A pain shot from my neck to my entire body, an excruciating pain filled me as I clenched my neck and rolled on the bed.
Elias instantly rushed to me and tried to pacify me but no matter what he said, I wasn't listening, the pain was so intense that my body shook violently.
I bit onto the divet covering my body but it was still too intense, my body heat up instantly.
Elias placed a pill on my lips and after some more seconds of the excruciating pain, it came down a little, I felt a little better and turned to him, curiosity filled my eyes.
"What did you feed me?"
"A pill."
"Pill?"
"Yes, a pill Ryker."
Looking at his sunken face, I knew he didn't want to answer but of course I would want to know, my gaze persisted and he gave up.
"It was from the pills Killian fed me when he marked me, the pain was as intense as yours, only that he asked the physician to make me pills."
I nodded and closed my eyes, the pains had lessoned but it was still there, but I felt better than when I woke up, my whole body no longer ache and I could perceive his scent again.
A knock was came from the door and it was pushed open before I even got the chance to speak, two servants walked in with some clothes.
"The Alpha instructed you come to the dining hall after changing into this." After dropping the clothes on the table, they bowed and left.
Elias stood up and walked to the door.
"My mate would be fussing right now so I better go to him."
"Halt." I suddenly shouted, the question I had been hesitating to ask flowed out freely.
"How painful is it for the first penetration? You know... between men..." I shuttered and looked everywhere but his face, the shooting pain from when Alpha Draven had thrust into me last night still made me shiver.
"Killian let's me top him, I don't know."
I turned to him sharpy with shock all over my face.
