Chapter 137
It's been a couple of hours ever since Tay and the girls had been
upstairs. All of us stayed in the living room, Angel playing with Bobo and Bobo Jr on the floor, Eric and Steven playing Jenga, both of our best men's playing cards, and me, getting some shut eye.
"I wonder how much they're suffering up there?" Levi said going down the stairs. The men whistles.
"Well isn't that a sight?" Andrew and the three other hunters snickered
"Funny." He said, but then we heard thumps and mumbling noises
upstairs
"What the heck is happening?? That's been happening for a couple of
hours now." Eric said looking at the ceiling,
I opened my eves and looked at the time to see it was 5:30 pm already. Levi and the boys were already ready, but we weren't sure about the girls. So much for those typical sayings, with girls dressing up slow, but it wasn't probably for everyone. Right?
We all heard footsteps coming down the steps, "finally! It's getting late, we also have to travel you know?" Levi said as he turned around.
"Your mate won't stop running away from the dresses and the make-
up!" Jess whined going next to Levi.
Her clothing was so puffed up. It was long and red, her dark blonde hair was up in a messy bun like, but Tay can pull that off better, but her lips was red like her dress, similar to a rose, her heals was too high that she reached my height and her average height was 5'6 I was guessing??
Seems like those heels pumped her up so much. Compared to the boys,
they sure make an effort.
"Running away??" I raised an eyebrow, that's weird to know? Does Tay really hate dresses and make-up??
"Yeah. We had to pin her down, but she's too quick. We're all done
except her. She still can't accept the fact that she has to be a girl in some cases." She said bitterly.
I chuckled and shook my head, "oh well. Gotta love my mate."
Jess elated at me as more of the girls ran downstairs panting and
catching their breaths from the exhaustion they're experiencing. Their hairs were messy, some of the make-up were on them and their
clothing, and lastly... Some scratches. The boys eyes were terrified with how much Tay did her numbers on them.
"She's ready. But she's so- ugh! NO FOOD FOR YOU WHEN YOU GET HOME!" Janine yelled with anger, but she pants and tears took over as her hormones seems to get the love.
"She's ready?" I asked and stood up on my feet as I walked in front of the stairs
"Yeah, she's just to shy and nervous to go down. Tay isn't really the type to be girly at all. During these sort of situations, she's usually shy.
When I was about to say something, I heard footsteps coming in.
Everyone's attention was on he, all of them looked like they fell in love.
When I looked at her, I understood why.
Her hair looked real for a wig, kind of similar to Emma's hair, but Emma had a tint of red in all rather than orange, red-orange was her outcome.
Then her eyes looked darker and rounder that brought out her light
brown eyes to perfection, her lips were the same, she ended up adding some Vaseline on it that made it smoother and shiny and yet it still looked alive. Because of her baby pink lips, she didn't need any lipstick, also her height grew perfectly taller, and most importantly she looked like a beautiful Luna to be. Better yet, my bride.
"Wow." I said breathless as she was finally in front of me with her
cheeks going red.
"Um. Well uh do you mind helping me with this?" She handed me her
mask andi gladly took, putting it on her.
"There you go Luna." I smiled asI looked at her face, she looked
different actually. Kind of like Emma, similar things.
She remained silent, not knowing what to say as Deanne went close to us. She opened her hand and there was a tiny metal peace on it.
"Right. I'll put this on my necklace so it looks like a diamond." Tay said as she placed it on the tiny metal.
"Let's do this." Levi said as he bowed and asked for Tay's hand, but I ended up growing that brought his hand back onto his side, still bowing
"Kris" Tay sighed as she gave a small laugh
"l don't like anyone looking at you." I mumbled and hugged her. She did the same.
"I'll be fine. Plus I'm yours. I promise." She held out her pinky and gave me a smile. I smiled back and intertwined pinkies together as I pecked her on the lips.
We walked outside and watched them use my car. Tay was headed to
the passenger side while Levi went on the drivers side with the four in the back. They all went inside, but her. She gave us one last look and nodded at us. We returned one back and I winked at her.
"See you soon mommy! Rock it in that dress!" Angel yelled as we
laughed and Jay entered the With that, I watched them drive away until the car lights were no longer seen. We went back inside of the house and got to work, Deanne began to do her job by hacking every system in the mission as I watched her.
I can actually learn from this. 'I thought as I watched everything and memorized it all. If Jay forgot, I was a technology nerd. Technology is what I know best and I practically have the same amount of knowledge as any hunters. But that will be our little secret.
Tay's POV
We began to drive to where my uncle lives, I honestly don't really know what he's like, but he sounds like a dick already. Trying to threaten and bribe werewolf packs into doing something by manipulating them into thinking for peace. My ass.
"You ready to breaking the silence"
"No. Not really. If you don't recall, I despise hunters who kills for sport. To me, that's the kind my uncle is like." I said bitterly as I heard him sigh.
"Well he has been alone for so many years and he knew how his family ended their lives.." He said quietly
"Revenge is no answer Levi. You of all people should know that." I
looked at him as his eyes began to drop with sadness and sensed his
thoughts began to scatter around, but none of his thoughts were
harmless.
"I know Tay. But."
"No buts Levi.. There's no excuse to hurt others. Revenge is no excuse." I've accepted that and learned it from a friend. They all died and that's, that. They had a reason and a purpose on why they died, it doesn't matter whether it's orders or lies, beliefs, love. Or anything. They had a reason on why they fought. But what my uncle is doing is not the same.
He has no reason nor purpose to do what he's doing"
"I know Tay.. I know." he whispered.
I sighed and began to change the subject, "other than that. Why did you tell Angel that you were fixing your wang?"
Hearing those words made him stop the car so suddenly that I held the head of my seat while the rest yelled.
"WHAT THE FUCK YOU LITTLE PIECE OF GRRR!" Jess yelled as she hit the back of his head.
"Hold Jess guys!" Levy yelled as they did as they were told and looked me, "'she told you.?"
I nodded slowly, "yup. You were fixing your wang with MY PICTURE!" | began to yell and punched him in the face
I looked at the guys behind me as they stiffened up, even Jess did.. I looked back at Levi again as I see him rubbing his jaws.
"I'm sorry! You just looked-" he looked at me and closed his mouth and just began to drive again
"Do that again and I will chop of that wang of yours and shove it down your throat" I warned as he gulped down, nodding
We reached the mansion finally as the whole car ride was silent. Sucks for Levi though, he's going in with a cut lip. Serves him right.
We got down from the car and saw so many other ones parked all
around. Looked like a lot of hunters were interested into this whole masquerade ball party or whatever it is?
"Let's do this. Everyone ready? Mics all good?" Owen asked as we
nodded.
"Let's get this party started!" Landon cheered, fist pumping the air and grabbed Jess's arm, running inside of the mansion.
The three looked at me as l inhaled to get my thoughts straight, "you'll be okay right?" Owen asked holing my arm.
"Of course. Like what Landon yelled, 'let's get this party started!"I mocked as they laughed and Levi just chuckled, but flinched.
"I'm sorry about that. Just don't fix your wang with my photo and don't tell Angel anything like that."I sighed as he nodded.
"Yup learned my lesson." He whispered and gave a small smile.
I smiled back and walked ahead, "was she hot in the photo?" I heard
Owen whisper,
"yeah.. He whispered back
"Why?" Andrew asked as they walked behind me.
"Lingerie." He said as they gasped and went silent. I stopped my tracks and turned around with a fake angry expression
"R"RUN!" They yelled as they ran pass me inside of the house, Owen on the other hand staved.
"Those idiots can't last a day. Let's go Tay." He laughed as I rolled my eyes and walked by his side, We entered the huge mansion and already inside it was crowded by many people. Smoke and alcohol had filled the air that made me cough
"Let's go." Owen said as he locked arms with me and walked towards
them
"Boss, you remember Owen and Emma don't you?" Levi questioned as I
looked at the man with a fancy and yet simple black tux, black hair, and a black mask that covered his whole upper face. Even if it was half, it was still difficult to make out his features.
He nodded in response.
"Well doesn't Emma look fantastic.!" He said in a deep voice as he took my hand and kissed the back of it. I gave a shy smile and nodded my head.
He chuckled, "shy one I suppose?"
"Yes sir." I whispered in a little kid like voice instead of using my own.
"Oh no dear please don't call me sir. It makes me sound old." He
chuckled as I gave another shy laugh, "how old do you think I am? Just by seeing only half of my face?"
he looked freshly shaved and his skin still looked young. "28?"
guessed.
He began to applaud, "good guesser I see."
"Thank you sir." I whispered again.
