After Tay fell unconscious, Eric and his parents both went inside with her in arms. I was in shock, not knowing what to think about it all. A hybrid? Legacy? Werewolf who doesn't shift?

"Alpha." I heard sand I looked up to see Mason

"You okay?" He questioned

I nodded. "of course. Just surprise."

"We know the feeling.. Who knew she'd be all this? I thought she'd just be human."

"Well she isn't. I think now, the Moon claimed her true form. hope the Moon Goddess is happy." Eric interrupted as we began to face him.

"How is she? You almost tried killing her." I said with greeted teeth.

"Lucky guess. She was changing, sleeping and being unconscious for a week more or less and has been in pain.. Today, it was like she was shifting, but isn't. The full moon was in control."

"How is she?" Steven walked up to him. He looked at him, but Eric seemed to be in deep thought. His eyes never blinked, his breathing was steady, and his face was expressionless. It like

how it was before when Tay was unconscious for a week..

"My mother told me she's resting. She's awake, you all can visit her. But go head out for a run." He began to walk, the rest of them looked atone another, they gave an unsure expressions, but nodded as they went inside. I sighed and stayed with Eric.

"Wait aren't you gonna visit her?" I questioned.

"I'm probably the last person she'd want to see." His head turned half way that you can only see half of his face. I turned around and began to walk to his parents house, leaving him behind. It

was silent when I entered the house. I followed my mates scent, leading upstairs. as I got upstairs, I entered the room where the scent had lead.

I opened the door slowly to see everyone. I walked in and saw Tay

sitting up with her back leaning on the bed post.

"Hey. How are you feeling?" l asked in a soft and calm voice.

"Better, well sort of. I'm really hungry." She mumbled.

As much as I've admired her fora little while, her attention was on me, we met eye to eye as she looked at me and they glowed again. I straightened my posture and stared back at her.

"You." She said as she eyes me up and down.

"What.?" I raised an eyebrow as she ran at me with speed.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She questioned.

I stood on my feet and cleared my throat as I kept looking into her eyes "tell you what? I'm lost?"

"Why didn't you tell me that I was your mate." She whispered with her eyes still glowing.

"W-what are you talking about.?" I stuttered and tried to walk pass her. She gripped onto my arm and slammed my back onto the wall. She looked at her hand that was gripping my arm and looked at me as she loosens it. She kept blinking and went back to the bed and sat at the edge of it.

"You were afraid to tell me?" She wondered.

"How'd- how did you know?" I questioned and looked at her.

"When I touch someone and I wanna know what they're thinking, I can

hear your thoughts in my head. I don't know why, but I just knew how to." she whispered as I sighed.

"I didn't want you to know because." I paused and held her hand,

"I didn't want you to feel pressured by everything."

"But you've known from the beginning.."

"You barely knew me. You're with Steven also, how could I tell you.?"

She looked at me and closed her eyes, but when she opened it with her eyes turning brown. She held my hand back, "what's gonna happen

now" She questioned.

"We can't be.. What about Steven?"

"l don't know." She whispered and pulled away her hand, covering her face.

"Do you love him..?" l asked randomly, regretting to ask it, but I had to know

"l did. But ever since I've gotten this other part of me. It makes me want you. I don't want to hurt Steven, but he has to know." Before everything gets worse.

"We'll do it together, but we can't do it now. Everyone's been through a tough time. We can't bring anymore bad news all in one night. You'll just have to keep what you know to ourselves. When everything is fine and you and Steven aren't together anymore, we can tell them our reasons. Okay?" She nodded and I held her by the cheek.

She smiled and closed her eyes when she felt my touch. I drew myself closer to her and as soon as we've gotten close er

close enough, where my lips almost touched hers, a knock interrupted it. We both pulled apart from each other and looked at the door, we fixed ourselves and I kept my distance a bit, "come in." I said.

The door opened and a head peaked in, "Eric. I'm glad you can make it." He went inside fully and gave a small smile. I looked at Jay as she gave him a smile back.

"I'll leave you two alone?" I whispered to Tay, but she held my hand and shook her head. I nodded my head slightly and kept my position.

"Um, you're staying?" He asked asked, awkwardly standing by the door.

"Uh yeah, I supp" Tay. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry.. I never meant to hurt you physically and mentally. I just wanted to see how far you'd go. For when you shift.."

"I know, I forgive you."

"You knew.?" He questioned as she nodded.

"Yeah.. When I touched- well more like choked you, I may have gotten into that stubborn head of yours. I heard what you've been thinking. But no damage was done, you didn't injure me in any way. For that, I forgive

"What do you mean? Do you actually mean that "I forgive you'of yours?"

"I can hear your thoughts when I want to whenever I touch someone.

Well yeah. You're my brother."

"That sounds cool, but creepy. But thank you." He smiled.

She smiled back at him and all l could do was feel happy. Eric looked better than before, which is a good thing. We all talked together with how we felt towards having a sister who's my mate, but has yet to know, being a half hunter legacy and a werewolf that created a unique kind of creature.

Even though we had many problems for the past couple of days that

extends to weeks sometimes. One good thing happened, for tonight.

Tay lived and forgave two people. Eric and she will forgive her parents and those good to her, who did everything to protect her.

I looked at her as both her and Eric began to laugh. They had the in moments, while I was having mine. Admiring her beautiful face, I began to think. In a world where many people had lied, began to unfold. The more truths being revealed, the morel know many people will get hurt. But no matter what, I will stay by her. I'm her protector and she was mine. I love her endlessly and no matter who gets in my way, I will still find a way to her. Not even death will keep us apart. She's mine. I'm lucky and proud to have her.
