Chapter 120
Tay's POV

We all finished eating, I've gotta say. We did such a good job cooking it. Everyone loved our food, even the Gray Eclipse Pack. I was happy even after the incident, it still was a good night. To my surprise, it was still early. Still around 10 something.

We all stood up and the boys helped cleaned the dishes.

"Alright, well you all must be tired from the trip. You all can rest upstairs, pick whichever rooms you'd like, except for the ones that has a sign,because that's our room. The ones that are blank are free." Eric,announced.

They all thanked him for the rooms and for the meal. All of them took their bags and went upstairs while the Alpha stayed wed downstairs talking to Eric.

"We're all not that tired yet. The trip was long, but all of us are still good to be out." He smiled.

"Oh really? That's good then, we did some back up plan in case you all weren't tired.!"

"That is"

"We go outside, we'll turn on our lights and we can do a fight off?"

Alpha Kristoffer nodded, "that sounds good. Let's do it."

Eric had a huge smile and told us to be outside. I looked at Steven and we went along. We didn't wait that long outside, but everyone caught up. Janine and Anastasia turned on the lights, it was beautiful out and the light was bright enough for us to see our surroundings so clearly.

"Alright boys and girls. We're gonna do a fight off. Tap out if you give up or get injured at some point. No rules, no competitions or anything, this is just for fun alright?"

Everyone nodded their heads excitedly and began picking people to

begin the fight off. First one to ever do a fight off was Derek and this person, probably one of Alpha Kristoffer's guards. The fight was brutal already. The punches were hard, Derek's lips bled and swollen, while the other person was bleeding on the other side of his forehead. Next thing you knew Derek won after pinning him down.

"Go Derek."I chuckled.

"He's of our best trainers, of course he'd win." Steven said looking at Derek.

"Yeah, that's true"

The fight was going so well and I've gotta say, there were a lot of good fighters in both packs. Half of everyone had gone and some were beaten up badly. Some just kept fighting till they couldn't take a single step or couldn't move.

"Next up Steven and Noah." Eric said as he looked pass me.

Hearing his name made me feel worried. Steven and Noah never got

along that quickly today because of earlier. I saw Noah give an evil smirk, that made me look up at Steven, gripping onto his hand.

"I'll be fine baby." He whispered and smirk, that made me look up at Steven, gripping onto his hand.

"I'll be fine baby." He whispered and pecked me on the lips.

I sighed and nodded my head, "please be careful."

He gave me a comforting smile and nodded before walking towards

Noah. I watched them as soon as Eric yelled for them to fight. Noah

charged him in an instant, but Steven dodged him right away and threw in a punch, having his fist connect to Noah's right cheek. I felt excited, but it all washed away when Noah picked up Steven, putting him down. Noah began to whisper something into Steven's ear that made him snap instantly. He pushed Noah off him and began throwing punches violently. When both of them separated, Steven shifted into this golden brown wolf. It was the first time after 9 years that I've seen a wolf shift like that.. Especially huge ones like the both of them. At this very moment I was beyond worried for Steven. I was scared.

I looked at Noah seeing him shift into this black werevwolf, matching his hair and his eyes were glowing gray. They began to attack each other. I ran to Eric, "what are you doing! Stop them!"

"l know." He looked down at me and stepped up, "STEVEN! STOP WHAT

YOUR DOING AND SHIFT BACK INTO YOUR HUMAN FORM NOW" He orders using his Alpha voice that roared loudly that might spread across

the woods.

But they still didn't listen. Kristoffer did the same, but nothing. I thought having the Alpha's command something no matter what, they should all obey. Why isn't that working?

People were just watching them almost kill each other, Sophia had to be taken inside before she shifted, James and Derek was gonna join in to stop the fight, but insulting the Gray Eclipse Pack out of anger made other werewolves growl.

Everyone was almost up and against each other. The day was good, but it all just went down the drain. Many thoughts kept roaming around my head until l heard someone whimper. I looked up to see Noah pinning Steven down and bit onto his shoulder making him cry out of pain. Anger boiled up inside me and out of nowhere, my hearing went mute. I couldn't hear anything, my mind went blank.

I stood still, with both of my hands curling into fists and feeling my nails digging onto my palms. Without thinking, I sprinted fast and tackled the black werewolf off him. I was on top of Noah while he tried biting me.

He wiggled roughly that took me off him. I then stood up from the

ground and he did the same, we stared at each other, meeting eye to

eye. When he sprinted towards me, I moved out of the way, grabbing his fur on the side and made my way on his back.

"TAY!" I heard Eric yell, but l ignored him.

I moved forward as he tried to get me off. I wrapped my arm around his neck, putting more pressure onto it for him to choke. It was going well until he flipped me on the ground. He quickly went on top of me and tried clawing my face, but I kept moving around to avoid it. When he pinned me down, we both looked at each other and his sharp teeth showing as he growled.

I was ready for anything, but before he could do anything, another jet black werewolf with a silver streak of line that traveled through his back and tail pushed Noah off me. I looked at them as Noah ran into the woods, but the gray streaked werewolf looked at me with pain in his eyes. He nodded at me and ran into the woods for Noah. Eric came running to me and picked me up and brought me into the house. I was breathing hard, my heart was beating fast. Everyone from both packs stared at me worriedly

"How stupid are you!? You could've died out there!" Eric yelled at me.

"Alpha Eric, calm down. She's breathing hard. It would help her calm down if you did." Mason said in a quiet voice. Eric sighed and ran his hands through his hair.

I kept trying to steady my breathing and just stared at the floor, but Lifted my head up when I heard the kitchen door open. I saw Steven go out of the kitchen, holding a cloth around his bleeding shoulder. He looked at me and ran towards me with a hug.

"What made you think of doing that?" He asked in a sad tone.

"I heard you cry in pain. I got angry and next thing you knew I did that. I'm sorry to worry you all, but that was fun." I said finally.

Everyone looked at me as if I was crazy. I looked at Eric and saw his angry expression, but it calmed down. He shook his head.

"You're mad. Has 9 years been that bad for you?" He asked with a sigh. I shook my head, "yes at first, but I got use to it. My past had nothing to do with me being crazy, l just am."

"No kidding. I don't mean to piss you and Steven off, but her fighting? Huntress vs Werewolf action? Was so damn hot" I looked at Xander as he had a smile on his face.

Every guy that was in the room was silent, but couldn't help themselves and began to agree hesitantly. I gave a chuckle and cleared my throat as Steven glared at me.

"Sorry. But really, it's fine. No hard feelings, I was just worried about Steven and l just snapped. I'm okay now, but l just really snapped." I explained

"l gotta say, I love her fire. You got a cool mate there Steve!" Joey cheered and both Steven and Eric groaned.

"Mate?" A voice interrupted us. We looked at the open door from the

back yard to see Alpha Kristoffer. He was still wearing his old clothes from earlier.

"Where's Noah?" One of the men asked.

"He's out back cooling off" He replied as he kept his eyes on Steven and The men nodded and went outside with two other men to checkup on Noah.

"Mate?" He asked again.

"Yeah she's my mate." Steven blurted out.

I looked at him confused, "how?" l asked.

"She's what" Anastasia popped in the conversation. Steven looked at both me and Anastasia, looking troubled.

"I thought she was-"

"Ahh Anastasia can we speak!" He stood up quickly and dragged

themselves to the kitchen. I looked at everyone and then at Alpha

Kristoffer, giving him an apologetic smile.

He walked towards me and touched my cheek. I felt something when he

touched my skin, I felt nervous for no reason.. He looked for signs of any wounds or bruises. I wondered why he was doing what he did, he was caring. People wondered also, their expressions told it all, but let him be.

"You feel anything hurting you?" He asked.

I shook my head slowly, "do you?"

He shook his head also, "none. Don't do that again next time. You were brave, but Noah can get out of hand."

"Hmm thank you!" l joked which caused him to laugh.

I gave a laugh back and felt my side hurt a little bit, I winced and held onto it. Kristoffer's expression changed quickly, "we should take you upstairs to rest."

l just nodded as he gently carried me bridal style, "oh no you don't have-"

"l insist." Seeing him smile made me feel like a 5 year old meeting her first crush. It was an unusual feeling that I can't explain

"Alpha Kristoffer, Alpha Eric." A voice came in again.

I peeked my head through Kristoffer's shoulder to see Noah. His face was full of regret and shame, but he still took the courage to look at me.

"l just wanted to apologize for my actions today. I didn't mean any harm on Steven and to Tay, I'm very sorry and please forgive me."

Steven and Anastasia made it out just in time. It was a bad timing, but I wish they had heard his apology.

"All is forgiven, only if you learn how to control your anger. Steven is fine now, but Tay seems to have some problems with her side." Eric said bitterly.

Steven saw me in Kristoffer's arms that made him growl. Kristoffer

looked back at Steven and tightened his grip on me, pulling me closer to him as if we were cuddling. I flinched that made him loosen it.

"No l understand. I promise to put it all aside and control myself. I'm very sorry for the mess". Kristoffer's attention went to Noah, a bit angry.

"You will be punished after I put Tay to rest. You have caused Steven to react to whatever you told him to make a fight. You have disobeyed both Alpha's orders and that's something I can't allow without a punishment." He was very serious and was in Alpha mode that all of the werewolves from his and also part of our pack to lower their heads. He must be pretty powerful to be respected in such a way.

I shook my head, "no no it's fine." I wiggled myself to go down which I understood. He gently sets me down on my foot, but held me

by the waist for balance. I cleared my throat as I felt and saw Stevens eyes look at me through the corner of my eyes, but I continued to talk anyways.

"No violence, no punishments or anything. I don't expect for Noah to get use to the fact that werewolves are working with a hunter or being a family with one. It'll just take some adjustments, but no punishments are to be made.

The Gray Eclipse Pack was surprised by my sudden words. Noah was

looking at me confused, after what he did, he didn't expect to hear

those types of words. Especially coming out of a hunters mouth.

"I don't understand.? I hurt you and your so-called mate. Why give me mercy?" He asked.

My head was aching a bit and I felt a little dizzy. I held onto Kristoffer's shoulder as he held me close, "whoa, hey are you okay?" He whispered in my ear that sent shivers down my spine. I nodded and closed my eyes as I took a deep breath. I opened my eyes again and looked at Noah who seemed worried about the hunter.

"Punishing violence with violence is beneath me."

With that darkness took over. All i could ever hear last was my name being called out as it echoed.
