Chapter 118
Sia/Pia's Pov

As soon as everyone felt good and happy, they all started fixing the place up. The girls and I have finished our part from cooking while the boys cleaned the guests rooms, not leaving any mess behind. I was actually very proud and for the first time in my life I witnessed the boys do something like this. They are always such a pain, but that's just it.

As Janine went to help out with more cleaning, I saw Tay standing

outside talking to Steven. I analyzed the scene very carefully as I saw Steven suddenly holding her hand.

I crossed my arms and kept watching Steven give her a huge hug before going back inside the house.

"Hm. Why is he always like that towards Tay?" I thought.

My eyes widened and I began to run upstairs to Stevens room. I opened the door to find him looking through his stuff and I decided to close the door loudly to get his attention.

He looked up at me and raised an eyebrow,

"hey Pia. Close the door gently next time alright? Just because it's wooden doesn't mean it has no feelings.

I rolled my eyes, "oh shut up Steven."

He chuckled and continued looking though his stuff as I sat on his bed, looking at him.

"Why are you up here anyways?" He questioned

"l just have a question to ask." I said studying him carefully.

He stopped fiddling around his stuff and stayed still. He became like a statue for a little while until he turned around and looked straight into my eyes

His eyes showed something, but it wasn't fear, nervousness, anger

sadness, or even happiness. His eyes just showed regret.

He shook his head, "no. She isn't Why'd you ask?"

I furrowed my eyebrows not trusting his words

"You two have gotten a lot more closer. Even in the beginning, you

seemed okay, but now you two are just so close. Touchy if l might add."

He scoffed, "I don't know what you're talking about Pia. We're just best friends."

"Ah-huh. Yeah, sure." I said nodding my head,

"then why hold her by the waist when Xander was flirting with her? Why hold her hand and then give her a hug? Why would you wanna protect her. Hm?"

"I was just being generous Pia. Don't jump into conclu-"

"Cut the bull crap Steven. I'm your sister, I know you. You're 22 and you still don't know how to hide the fact you like someone. No actually, love He gave a nervous laugh and glared at me as he leaned his back on the wall, putting his hands inside of his pockets. you'd risk your life for her. Come on Steven. Stop lying to yourself and to me for once. You know I'l listen to you."

"Alright fine. I have feelings for her okay? But she's not my mate.." He said quietly and sat down next to me.

"What do you feel?"

"I feel really happy being around her. Whenever she touches me, I feel warmth. Whenever we hug or if she's really close to me, I feel sparks. I don't know why, but being with her just makes me love her even more. I can't help it, I know it's wrong and that she's been here with us for almost a week, but ever since l saw her in the beginning.. She just seem to stand out from any she-wolves or even human girls. She's just so different and I'm starting to love everything about her."

Him explaining this nmade my heart flutter. The excitement and

happiness his eyes shows when he talked about her was just something. I never saw in him. I was happy for him, really, but I don't want him to get hurt. I love both Tay and Steven, but I'm not really sure if I can handle anything that involves them being together.

"What do you like about her?"

He smiled like an idiot before responding,

"l love the way she smiles in every little things, the way she laughs, her eyes just sparkles every time she's happy, the way she's shy, reads books like I do, isn't afraid to be weird when she's with me. I love her flaws and most importantly, the way she is. I just love her the way she is."

He's lost it. I never seen him or even hear him act in this way. It's just something new that he's never shown before, not even to me. I only Know when he likes or love someone, but I never really knew how he feels. I don't really know what to do at this point.

"That's very cute." I trailed off and held his hand,

"if you were ever to be with her, would that make you feel happy?"

He nodded,

"it really would. I've honestly never felt this way. It felt like that's how I would feel with my mate, but I know a mates bond is

stronger than that, but I've seem to fall for her in a mate bonds way."

"Steven. She's not your mate, but you can't do this to your actual mate. I know I should be supportive, but what's gonna happen once you find your mate while you're with Tay? You're just gonna hurt her." His eyes that were filled with excitement and happiness had now lowered down to see sadness.

"l know what I'm getting myself into, but it's been 22 years Anastasia. I haven't been able to find my mate, you've found yours at the age of 16 already. The guys downstairs had found their mate, they're just out helping with the Alphas duties." He held my hand tighter and looked

straight into my eyes, "I chose Tay for this time. No one else." His voiced cracked and saw his eyes tearing up.

He was serious with this decisions. I trust Tay to be there and take care of him and I trust him to do the same. They both have a big heart, but I can't help think of the negative sides with them being together. I'm not sure how everything will be like, but I understand where his place is at. I sighed and wiped a tear that fell through his cheek,

"if she makes you happy, then tell her how you feel. But first you have to see what Eric thinks about this."

His lips began to smile, "I know. I'll talk to Eric right now if he can approve."

He stood up and hugged me tightly, "thank you so much for being

supportive with my decision." He whispered.

"You're welcome big bro." I whispered back and felt him kiss my

forehead as he ran downstairs.

Steven's POV

I ran downstairs to find the rest just sitting and drinking beer. I looked outside to see the sun setting down and found Eric talking to Tay. They were smiling and laughing, I haven't seen Tay be liked this. Finally seeing some expressions and emotions, she looked even better that

I ran towards Eric and he looked at me with a big smile, "hey Steven!"

I smiled back, "hey Eric, can I talk to you?"

He nodded and I looked at Tay with a smile, she returned one back, but me and Eric just moved to the side to talk privately. I watched as she moved with James, Derek, and Xander as they all started talking and making jokes.

"What is it?" Eric asked as my attention turned to him.

I scratched the back of my head and cleared my throat, "I wanna tell you something about Tay."

He furrowed his eyebrows and straightened his posture, "what about

her" He sounded stricter now.

"Well, um. like her. Not like, but I'm starting to love her.. I know she's your sister, but I will never hurt her. I just want you to know that and I would like your permission to um. If I could be with her?"

I looked at him as I saw his jaw tensed up, he kept looking at me, but has not said a word. I felt very nervous and scared at this point because of the thought of him killing or beating my ass up for asking and telling him this.

But instead, he nodded his head slowly.

"Well thank you for telling me and waiting for my permission. l didn't want to be rude and just ask her right away without you knowing"

"I respect that, but Steven. She's my little sister. She's only 19 and has no experience with any of those relationship things-"

"If you don't want me to be with her, it's fine Eric.. I understand."

"You didn't let me finish Steven." He sighed,

"I'm just saying that, her having no experience with these things or ever has an idea will scare her. You. You have an idea and a little bit of an experience. but I'm trusting you with your word. That you'll NEVER ever hurt her, always protect her, and always be with her. No mater what. I trust you enough to be with her."

My heart began to beat faster with excitement and looked at him with surprise. I gave a huge smile and hugged him.

"Thank you so much Eric!" I said, patting his back as l pulled away.

"No, thank you. No go on and talk to her, the guys and I will be inside. Good luck." He patted my shoulder and winked as I watched him call the guys inside.

Tay stood up and went to her, holding her arm. "Can we talk?"

She looked at me and tilted her head a bit, "um sure. What's up?"

l inhaled and exhaled deeply as looked into her beautiful brown eyes.

"l was wondering if you'd um." I trailed off as she waited patiently.

"Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

She looked at me and saw her cheeks flushed in red, she blinked her

eyes several times with surprise and studied my face.

She gave a shy smile and nodded her head, "um. I-I would love to."

She stuttered.

"Really? Are you sure?" I asked excitedly while she laughed.

I laughed happily and screamed in victory! I hugged her and spun us

around, did some jumps from here to there as lI heard he smile. I

stopped and set her down onto the ground and looked at her. I kissed her on the lips to feel electricity and she kissed me back, her arms wrapped around my neck, pulling us closer. She stopped the kiss and looked at me in the eyes with a smile on her face.

"I love you Tay." I whispered and rested my forehead with hers.

"I love you too Steven." Hearing those words come out of her mouth

made my heart melt. I was never this happy about someone, but I was glad it was her. She may not be my mate, but from all those things people said on what a mate would feel like. I felt it with her, I decided to make her my mate at this very moment.

She's mine. linked her eyes several times with surprise and studied my face.
