After everyone settled and the place regained a semblance of normalcy, we gathered in the living room to talk about pressing matters.
Feyre said she wanted to know everything before tonight. That way, she wouldn't feel like there is something she has to do in her life. She wants to start on a clean slate and I respect that.
Ayda joined us today and I couldn't be happier. We had the whole family together which is what I wanted.
She didn't even blink when I told her Lucien was dead. That made me know I made the right decision.
"So, what did you find out from the pack?" Feyre asks Asher, who is sitting beside Delilah.

I hold my breath, waiting for Asher to speak. I don't know why I feel like what he is about to say will change things, many things.
Zade squeezes my hand, showing his support. He understands my needs, even before I utter them. I don't know how I got lucky with him, but I'm glad I did.
"I asked a few elders who are even older than them. They never knew that." he frowns, like he isn't happy with that result. Which pretty much means we're back to square one. "They said they both left when they were younger and they didn't come back to the pack till years later but that is just it."
"We don't really have anything then?" Jennifer asks, looking between Asher and me.
"Yes, unfortunately. But I can keep digging. Someone has to know something." We all nod in agreement.
"I think I'll stay and try to figure that out." Jennifer said to me later when we were getting ready for the luna ceremony.
Her twin looks up, her eyes narrowing.
"What? Are you sure?" She asks the same thing that comes to my mind.
"Yes." She shrugs. "It feels like the right thing. You're back now and I know you're safe." Her sister nods, her eyes glossing over with
tears.
She walks to her and wraps her arms around her. I watch them, my eyes misting too.
I couldn't imagine how different life would have been if I knew them. I couldn't understand why they were kept away. We still had so many questions and very little answers. But I trust Asher and what he said, there is an answer somewhere and we won't stop until we find it.
"Huddle in," Jennifer motions for me to come closer.
My heart soars and I swear the tears are because of hormones. Okay, that is a total lie.
I step into their hug and it feels like home. I breathe in their scents and smile. I don't want to ever let go.
A knock makes us break apart. Delilah and Ayda, Zade's younger sister, walk in.
Ayda is quiet and reserved, the opposite of Delilah but when you see them interacting, they are like two peas in a pod.
Zade told me Ayda was the one in the attic and I wasn't crazy for thinking I saw someone there. I guess that solved the mystery of the ghosts in the pack or a kept woman. When I told him all my theories earlier, he'd laughed.
Thinking of it now makes me smile.
"Ooooh, are you thinking of a certain alpha?" Delilah asks, pumping my shoulder playfully.
I can't hide my smile for the life of me and it makes her giggle.
"Yes." I replied, unable to lie. And why should I? I'm happy, I want everyone to know that I love that man.
"I told you, you'll love him," she smirks. "I get dibs on God mother, cause I was right."
I laughed, shaking my head. "It is all yours."
She squeals and fist pumps the air. She walks away from me to get my shoes that she picked out. I made her promise it wasn't heels. She replied with, "You're carrying my God child, do you think I would risk their safety?"
We finish dressing and walk out for the ceremony to start. It feels like a whirlwind in my head. Zade taking my hand and us walking to the podium together, him kissing me in front of his entire pack. The small nick of my thumb with a pin, then he did his and we linked ourselves.
The best had to be his reaction when I told him I would like him to mark me tonight. Safe to say, we didn't stay for the after party.
I woke up much later in the night, a nagging thought in the back of my mind.
"Are you okay? Are you in any type of pain?" Zade is quick to shoot those questions.
I swear he wakes up when my breathing changes pattern. I tell him I'm fine but he still stays up with me until I tell him I'm ready to sleep.
When I close my eyes and sleep starts to take me, it finally comes to me what I have been trying to remember.
Anika. From Drugal's pack. I left her in the small hut when I went out, and I never heard from her.
God, I hoped she was fine.
