Chapter 24
Krystal POV
Me and Jerome start to run but when we got into the door of the room, it got locked we tried to knock but it's no use.
“I need to break it” Jerome suggest and he use his charm to build a boulder and slam it on the door and the door got broken
We run towards the head office, but Miss Valerie is not here.
“There’s no one in here,” I said
“Let’s go to the hall maybe she’s there” Jerome said and we go to the hall and he’s right Miss Valerie is here with the other Academy’s staff
“What happen to you guys? We can’t access the cameras” Miss Valerie asks worry is all painted on her face
“Olivia from Hemio is here,” Jerome said
“Where is the other students?” she asks
“Laura and Dave is fighting them but I don’t know where is the other students because we split up,” I answer
“We need to save them,”
“I will go with you” Sir Rex volunteer and the four of us go back to the forest but when we go to where we last saw Laura and Dave they are not there anymore and the enemies are gone.
“Dave!”
We look back and see Jerome walking towards the tree where Dave's body is.
“H-He’s not breathing anymore. What do we do?!” Jerome ask panicking.
We run towards him and I cover my mouth with my both hands. Dave is now dead, his eyes are open a knife on his chest and blood gushing through his mouth.
“Where is Laura?” I ask.
I started to panic. What if Laura is in danger? Is she alright? Where is she?
Miss Valerie look at me and she hugs me trying to comfort me
“Its alright my dear, everything will be alright. We don’t see Laura in here so she must be alive and go somewhere so that the enemy wouldn’t find her,” Miss Valerie said and break the hug plastering a smile on her face “Lets find everyone,”
“Laura will be alright right?” I ask.
“Yes,”
We continue to search the place. I see a fire from a distant and I told them so we went there and when we arrive at the middle of the forest, we saw some enemies body on the ground and they are dead
Lux with a ring of fire surrounding him and Nathan with his water dragon finishing a group of enemies in front of him.
“Krystal, look out!”
Jerome pulled me and a spike from a portal showed up it almost stabs my neck.
“Oh almost got it,”
A man showed up from the portal.
“Long time no see Valerie and Rex,”
