Chapter 130 Muffins And Kisses

Chapter 130 Muffins And Kisses
Enzo’s warning lingered in Eloise’s mind as the SUV rolled through the mansion gates. The Don doesn’t like to share.
The words refused to fade, casting a subtle shadow over the vibrant excitement still buzzing through her veins from her first day at college.
She stepped out of the car, entering the house and immediately noticed two heavily tattooed, dangerous-looking men exiting Massimo’s study. Their sharp, disciplined movements and intricate ink peeking from their collars and cuffs screamed Yakuza.
They spared her a brief, assessing glance before continuing down the hallway without a word.
“He seems busy,” Eloise said quickly to Enzo, not quite ready to face her husband yet.
Enzo shrugged his massive shoulders and headed straight into the study.
Eloise made her way to the kitchen, drawn by the comforting warmth and familiar voices.
“If it isn’t the college girl herself!” Vito crowed the moment she walked in, his wrinkled face splitting into a mischievous grin as he leaned against the counter.
Eloise burst into a big, genuine smile, the tension in her shoulders easing.
Rosa looked up from kneading dough, flour dusting her hands and apron, and offered her a proud, motherly smile that wrapped around Eloise’s heart like a warm embrace. Sofia giggled happily from beside her, arranging fresh muffins on a tray.
“How was it?” Sofia asked, her eyes bright with curiosity.
“Everything and more,” Eloise replied, spinning lightly on her toes before snatching a warm muffin from the tray. She took a big, indulgent bite and moaned in delight. “I’m starving. Where are you taking those?”
“Oh, it’s for the Don,” Sofia said, her cheeks flushing slightly. “I should take them to him now.” She hurried out of the kitchen with the tray, leaving behind a sweet, buttery scent.
“Why don’t you sit down, Signora?” Rosa said in her practical, maternal tone. “I’ll fix you a proper plate right quick. College can wait, food can't.”
Eloise laughed softly and slid into a chair at the large wooden table. Across from her, Vito was sipping from a cup of strange-looking herbal tea, his expression comically focused.
“What’s that?” she asked, tilting her head.
Vito looked up with a wicked twinkle in his eye. “I have a date tonight, Signora, and I must never fail. This tea is supposed to keep an old soldier standing at attention for hours.”
Eloise nearly choked on her muffin.
Vito leaned in, his voice dropping to a theatrical whisper. “What I really want is to sleep with a buxom, fiery Italian widow who’ll ride me very hard, then slap my ass and demand I make her breakfast in the morning. None of this gentle nonsense. I want fire, Signora.”
“Vito!” Rosa tutted sharply, slapping her dough with exaggerated force, though her lips twitched. “You filthy old goat. Have some respect for your age, if nothing else.”
Eloise covered her mouth, laughing out loud, the bright, unrestrained sound filling the kitchen.

In the study, Enzo reclined in a leather chair, watching his Don with quiet focus. Massimo stood facing the tall window, his powerful silhouette framed against the fading light, hands clasped behind his back.
“What did the Yakuza say?” Enzo asked.
Massimo’s voice was low and commanding. “They’ll work with us. For now. They want a larger share of the waterfront operations and ironclad protection if the Iron Veil turns its eyes eastward. In exchange, they’ll share intelligence on any movements against us from their networks.
"It’s a fragile alliance, but it buys us time and eyes where we need them most. We use them until they become a liability.”
Enzo nodded, chewing the words over.
Just then, a soft knock sounded. Sofia entered, carrying the tray of warm muffins, her steps hesitant. “Don,” she said, her voice stuttering slightly as her eyes darted to Enzo, who was already devouring her with his gaze. “I came to bring these.”
“Those look good,” Enzo rumbled, rising slowly from his chair. He reached out and took one from the tray, biting into it without once breaking eye contact with her. The deep, appreciative moan that escaped him was deliberately sensual.
Sofia felt herself melt on the spot. Heat flooded her cheeks and spread lower. If only he knew she had woken up gasping that morning from a vivid wet dream—his big body over hers, that rough voice commanding her to take everything he gave.
“Thank you, Sofia,” Massimo’s cool, authoritative voice mercifully sliced through the thick, hypnotic tension.
She quickly set the tray down and fled the room, her heart pounding. Once in the hallway, she pressed a hand to her chest, trying to steady her breathing, her cheeks burning fiercely.
The door opened behind her. Enzo stepped out, closing it with deliberate quiet. Sofia’s eyes widened. She tried to hurry away, but he caught up in two powerful strides.
His massive arms wrapped around her from behind, pulling her back against his hard chest. “Those muffins tasted so good,” he murmured, his lips brushing the sensitive skin beneath her ear.
“I didn’t make them,” Sofia breathed, her voice shaky with need. “Rosa did.”
Enzo’s hands traveled boldly down the length of her body, mapping every curve with possessive hunger. Sofia moaned softly, unable to hold it back. One large hand cupped her full breast, thumb brushing over the sensitive, peaked nipple.
Still breastfeeding Aurora, the touch sent sharp pleasure shooting through her, making her knees weak.
His other hand slipped lower, fingers teasing beneath her skirt until they found their way into her panties. He groaned at how soaked she already was for him.
Enzo looked down at her, his dark eyes blazing with raw desire and a silent question, giving her one last chance to pull away.
Sofia gave a small, trembling nod.
His thick fingers slid into her wet heat. Her moan was instantly swallowed by his mouth as he kissed her deeply, hungrily, pressing her against the wall with the full weight of his powerful body.
