Jack smiled when Lily sat down and said, "I can't believe that you have the nerve to visit me after framing me. What exactly are you hoping to achieve? Just in case you don't know, I'm not into plastic dolls."

The moment Jack said that he immediately recalled everything. He recalled that he had said the same thing to Lily in her hotel room and was now sure more than ever that he was innocent.

He continued speaking, "You don't seem surprised because this is not the first time I am calling you a plastic doll. When you threw yourself at me in your hotel room, I told you the same thing so, why are you wasting your time?"

Lily began to cry and say, "Stop it, Jack. It's bad enough that you assaulted me and posted the video on social media. I know that Cindy probably asked you to do that to me because I refused to be her friend so many years ago.

Jack, I know this is not your fault and that Cindy instigated you to do all this, which is why I am going to forgive you on one condition.

Marry me and you won't have to see the insides of a courtroom. I will withdraw the case and tell the public that it was a love affair between an engaged couple and that I was only acting as the part of victim for our satisfaction.

I will do all these for you because deep down, I know that you are not a bad person. What do you say, Jack?"

Jack began to laugh at Lily and said, "Someone supposedly raped you and you are asking that same person to marry you? Lily, I know your brain is defective so I'm going to repeat myself. I am not into plastic dolls, so I will never marry you.

I am even willing to spend the rest of my life in prison if it means I have to escape seeing a lunatic like you. Go ahead and make sure the case is charged to court Lily because I am eager to hear you explain what happened."

Jack stood up and told the officer, "Please, don't let this person get close to me again. She is mentally unstable."

The officer who had overheard their conversation because Jack had spoken in a loud voice suddenly believed Jack was innocent because if he had indeed committed the crime, he would have jumped at the opportunity to get his freedom.

And no sane lady will ask the person who assaulted her so badly to get married to her.

Jack went back to his cell and felt happy that he had at least secured a little evidence for Cindy. The video was enough to prove that Lily had a motive for setting him up.

The moment Lily left the station, she called her brother Chris and said, "There's a big problem Chris. Jack refused to accept my terms. He said he would rather rot in prison than get married to me.

What am I supposed to do? Judging by Jack's personality I expected that he would do whatever he had to avoid going to prison but I don't know why he is acting this way."

Chris Belov thought for a while and said, "He is just bluffing. No man in his right mind would choose prison life over getting married to a wealthy and beautiful girl like you. Just give him time, I assure you that he will come around."

"No Chris, he won't," Lily said desperately. He said he wants the case to be charged to court and he was very serious about it."

"Well, if he insists on going to prison, then there's nothing we can do about it," Chris replied.

"There's something you can do Chris. Please help me just this one time."

"What do you want me to do?" Chris asked.

"I want you to speak to Cindy," Lily replied. "Jack loves Cindy and will listen to anything she says while Cindy has a crush on you. Convince her to tell Jack to accept my terms for the sake of his freedom, then tell her that you are going to marry her.

Judging by the way she feels about you, she will surely accept."

"You know I don't like doing things like this," Chris said. "Lily, this is the last time I would get involved in this evil plan of yours, don't ask me for any more favors."

"I promise I won't," Lily replied happily. "Thank you so much, Chris, you are the best brother in the world."

When she ended the call, Lily smiled happily and said, "Dear Jack, no matter what happens you will just have to marry me because we are destined for each other." After speaking, she happily wore her shades, got into her car, and drove off.

Cindy received Spencer's call while preparing the things she would say if Jack stands trial.

Spencer informed her that Jack would make his initial appearance before the judge in three hours. Cindy felt happy as it meant that Jack would be released today.

Spencer also informed her that he had convinced his dad to let her represent Jack and that they had gotten a reputable doctor as she requested. Cindy agreed that they would all meet at the station in an hour and began to get ready but at that point, she got a call from Chris Belov and became quite surprised.

Cindy contemplated on if it would be a good idea to pick up Chris Belov's call because they were both on opposite sides.

When Chris kept calling repeatedly, Cindy decided to answer the call. The moment she picked up, Chris said, "Hi Cindy, I hope you are doing okay. I need to speak to you, I know it is quite prompt but I wouldn't be asking if it wasn't extremely important."

"I'm so sorry, Belov," Cindy replied. "Today is a really busy day for me and now is especially a bad time. Can we make it tomorrow or even later in the evening?"

Chris Belov said, "Please Cindy, I promise I won't take up much of your time. I just need to say a few important things to you and it's about Jack."

When Cindy heard Jack's name, she sighed and said, "Well about Jack, I'm going to the station to see him right away and I'm pressed for time. The best I can do is meet you outside the station. If that's fine by you, then it's okay."

"It's completely fine by me," Chris said. Cindy ended up leaving the house earlier than she had planned because she wanted to meet with Chris and still be able to see Jack before his Dad and Spencer arrived with the doctor.

Cindy got to the station ten minutes later and noticed that Chris Belov's car was parked on one side of the road as he kept beckoning for her to come.

She didn't like the idea of sitting inside his car because she knew how Jack felt about her getting close to him but all that didn't matter right now because she was eager to hear what he had to say about Jack.

When Cindy got in the passenger seat, Chris Belov stared at her and said, "You look really beautiful, Cindy."

"Thank you very much," Cindy replied. "You don't look too bad yourself."

Chris laughed before he decided to cut to the chase. He said, "Cindy, I know you must be feeling shocked and disappointed at what Jack did to Lily. Even I am very upset and wanted to personally deal with Jack but.."

"Hold on," Cindy cut him. "I am not shocked or disappointed at Jack in any way. I am shocked that Lily had to stoop so low just because she wanted Jack. What sane and self-respecting woman would deliberately upload a video of her being fucked on social media?

Unless she is training to become a pornstar, I will advise you to get your sister professional help because she is mentally unstable."

Chris stared at Cindy in surprise. "How can a woman like you say something like this? You already know that no woman would do such a thing to herself yet you still accuse Lily like this?

Listen, Cindy, I know that you have feelings for Jack but you shouldn't let those feelings blind you to the truth of who Jack is. To get rid of the shame, Lily is willing to get married to Jack and drop the charges against him.

I know that Jack listens to you a lot and I also know that you wouldn't want to see him rot in jail. So, advise him to accept Lily's offer and get his freedom.

If you are worried about what will happen to you, I will get married to you. Afterall, you have a crush on me and I have feelings for you.

I am a much better option than Jack and I'm going to make you so happy and take you around the world with me." As he spoke, Chris took hold of Cindy's hands and stared at her lovingly.

However, Cindy flung his hands away and opened the door of his car. Before going out, she said, "Despite what had happened between Lily and me, I have always held you in high esteem because I felt you were different but I was wrong.

You and Lily are cut from the same cloth afterall. Chris, I am disappointed in you and it's high time you got rid of the illusion that I have a crush on you. There are no such feelings on my end because no matter how many times I close and open my eyes, Jack is all I see.

Lastly, don't ever try to speak to me again and tell your doll of a sister that I'll be seeing her in court."

After speaking, Cindy walked directly into the police station while Chris shook his head in embarrassment and said, "Oh Lily! The things you make me do."
