I Trust You


The moment the officers took Jack away, Cindy went into the room to wear proper clothes so she could follow behind to the station.

Just at that moment, her phone rang and she saw that Spencer was the one calling. She quickly answered the call and Spencer said,

"What is going on Cindy? What is wrong with Jack? I mean why would he do something like that?"

"Calm down," Cindy said,l "What are you talking about?"

Spencer was surprised by her question and asked, "Haven't you seen the number one trending video on Twitter? Go to social media now and check. The video has gone viral."

Cindy didn't understand what Spencer meant but she said, "Okay, I will check it out and call you back. Just give me some time."

When he ended the call, Cindy quickly went on Twitter and checked on the trending videos. She saw the top videos and clicked on the first one.

In the video, Jack was sexually assaulting Lily while she cried and begged for him to stop.

In the first part of the video, Jack was leading Lily into a hotel room and she seemed to be in severe pain as she clutched her stomach.

Jack turned when he opened the hotel room and the camera caught his face. The second part of the video showed when they were already inside the room and Lily was on the bed.

Jack was tearing off her clothes while she begged for him to stop and scratched his face with her fingernails. He ignored her pleas until he finally tore off her pant and began to fuck her.

Although Jack's face wasn't shown in the second video, it was the same clothes and the back of his head was the same, however, Cindy knew for a fact that the second person wasn't Jack but someone who looked like him from behind.

She became livid with rage when she watched the video to the end and saw the comments people left below it.

There were thousands of comments and they were mostly directed at Jack. People said terrible and hurtful things about him and demanded that he be prosecuted for such a crime.

Seeing people insult Jack so terribly as well as his agency broke Cindy's heart. Even some of his agency's artists and workers were not spared from derogatory remarks.

Cindy knew that this was most certainly going to affect all the stars of Jack's agency and if the situation was not properly managed, Jack could be scarred by it for the rest of his life.

But, she was not going to let that happen no matter what. She logged out of social media and said to herself, "Lily, you crossed the line this time around. I am going to teach you a lesson that you will not forget in a hurry."

Cindy returned Spencer's call and said to him, "I know for a fact that Jack isn't the one assaulting Maya in that video.

He didn't do it. That bitch Lily Belov is setting him up because she wants him for herself. I'm sure eventually she's going to ask Jack to agree to her terms so she could drop the charges against him."

"What charges are you talking about?" Spencer asked.

"I'm so sorry I forgot to tell you," Cindy said. "The police just arrested Jack a few minutes ago for sexually assaulting Lily and have taken him to the station."

"What? Why didn't you tell me about this?" Spencer asked.

"It happened just a few minutes ago," Cindy replied. "I was just about getting dressed so I could go to the station and arrange for Jack to get bail.

Spencer, I will need your help. You know, Lily's brother is Chris Belov. They are wealthy and influential and I believe that everything that happened was carefully scripted by them to force Jack to get married to Lily.

Jack and I went to a party two days ago and I could see how Lily was drooling over him. It was so obvious that she wanted Jack for herself and all this is probably a pathetic attempt at getting him.

But, I'm not going to let her get her way. I have a license as a certified solicitor, I have just never used it before.

I want to represent Jack as his attorney. I am going to clear his name and expose Lily for what she truly is."

"Thank you very much, Cindy," Spencer said. "To be honest, I knew from the beginning that Jack isn't the one assaulting Lily in the video, I just wanted to hear what you think.

Seeing the way you trust and support Jack so much makes me very happy. I knew I liked you from the very start for a reason.

It's also nice that you want to clear Jack's name, but our family has well-trained attorneys and I'm sure that my Dad would want to use them instead."

Cindy said, "No Spencer, I want to do this. Please let me do this for Jack. I have known Lily since I was little and I understand how she thinks better than anyone else.

So, let me handle this case and I promise that I will get Jack out and clear his name.

Spencer said, "Okay, so what do you need me to do for you?"

Cindy said, "I need you to get a reputable doctor that will be able to come to the station and take Jack's blood so we can get it tested. I will need the result of the test to fight this case.

Also, I need you to speak to your dad and ask him to use his connections to ensure that Jack appears before a magistrate judge today or tomorrow so we can apply for his bail."

"Alright Cindy," Spencer said. "If that is all you need, then consider it done."

"Thank you very much, Spencer" Cindy replied. "I know I can always count on you. Jack is lucky to have you."

"Yeah, I know," Spencer replied. "I just wish he knew that too."

After getting off the phone with Spencer, Cindy got prepared, dressed up, and left the house to go see Jack at the station.

When he was brought out to see her, Cindy's heart broke at the expression on his face.

Jack looked both sad and distressed. His main concern was what Cindy thought about all this.

What if Cindy decided to leave him because of this accusation? What was he going to do? How was he supposed to live the rest of his life without the only woman he had ever loved?

Cindy stared at Jack as he was led to her seat. She held his hands the moment he sat down and said, "Don't worry my love, I trust you completely, and even if you don't remember or you don't say anything, I know for a fact that you are innocent and the video making rounds on social media has nothing to do with you. Trust me, I am going to deal with Lily Belov."

Jack sighed in relief when Cindy expressed her trust in him but he was surprised by what she had said and asked, "What video are you talking about Cindy?"

Cindy sighed and replied, "I am so sorry Jack, I know this is going to be hard on you but there is a video of you sexually assaulting Lily all over the internet.

A lot of horrible things have been said about you and the case will be charged to court if you don't play by Lily's tune.

I'm guessing that she has a plan. She is going to ask you to do something in exchange, for her to drop the charges against you.

I already discovered from the start that she had an interest in you so she went this far to set you up probably because she wants you to agree to date her and break up with me.

I don't know what else she might want other than that but I need to know, if push comes to shove, would you break up with me and marry Lily to get released from jail?"

Jack shook his head and said, "Between the both of us, I think you should know that there's no need for such questions. Even if I have to die, I will rather do so than leave you for anyone else, much less that plastic doll.

Cindy, even though the judge ends up finding me guilty and I have to spend the rest of my life here, you will always be the only woman in my heart, only you."

Cindy heaved a sigh of relief as Jack said, "Thank you so much, Cindy, you have no idea how much it means to me that you trust and believe in me.

I don't know how everything happened because my memory is still foggy but I am slowly picking up bits and pieces of some of the things that happened.

Without even hearing everything, you choose to trust me. Thank you so much, my sweet Cindy."

Cindy smiled and said, "There's no love without trust, and Jack, I love you with my whole heart and I have absolute faith in you. Aside from other factors, I know for a fact that you would never force yourself on a woman.

I have a feeling that Lily is going to visit you and she's going to try to make a deal with you so, before I leave, I am going to secretly pin a small camera on your body so that when she visits you, whatever she says would be recorded.

And then I will come back later in the evening to visit you again and take the camera so that we can gather enough evidence against Lily."

Jack nodded and said, "That is good thinking Cindy. I think you should contact Spencer just in case he is not aware that I have been arrested so, he can get in touch with my family's lawyer."
